Bought a 2005 Dodge Stratus from them 2014. Overall the car is still running and reliable. However,…read morethey lied to me about the water pump and the timing belt being "brand new". The car had 102k miles on it when I bought it. I had to buy new tires ($600), replaced the water pump and timing belt after 3 months of having it ($800), and there was a crack in the windshield the day I bought the car which I didn't see until I got home. The first couple days I had the car I had to keep jumping the battery. They replaced it. When I went to pick it up, the car was dead. They sent it back to the shop where their mechanic couldn't figure out what was draining my battery when they put a new battery in and the alternator was good. After the third time the car was sent back to the shop, they still couldn't figure it out, so I asked them to take it to my usual mechanic and they gave me a hard time about it. Per lemon law, the car had the same issue 3x in the first 30 days of ownership. I told them I have to return the car if it can't be fixed. They agreed to cover the costs of my mechanic figuring out and fixing the problem. He was able to solve and fix the problem, and I haven't had any battery issues with it since. 5 Star Auto handled the costs and made the frustrating experience easier. The one thing I felt was they were charging me too much above retail value. I have to say to this day I still feel like I should have paid less (at least by $800 for the water pump and timing belt), but it's been a few years of this car being very reliable since having those parts replaced. I've only had to do regular maintenance on the car (oil changes, brakes, etc...). I walked in there with one thing in mind, a car that gets me from point A to point B, and this car does exactly that. The beginning was rocky, and the transaction just never felt right, but I got a very reliable car out of it.

When you buy a car with them, they take care of title, license plate, and registration which is very convenient. We found the car we wanted and had it shipped from Florida. They indicated that it would be available for pick up in about a week, but it actually took more like a month to be ready due to emission testing. This was the only real negative with the process. They said they would refund the shipping fees, but we've yet to receive the payment. When we did go to pick up the car, it was a fairly smooth process. They let us test drive it on our own for about an hour. The paperwork took a bit of time, but it was mostly just waiting around for the agent to get all the documents ready and approved. When we were finished, they filled up the tank for us, and we were on our way. Only other complaint was our agent didn't do a good job of explaining how the MaxCare extended warranty worked, so we felt unclear on some of the details.

The team we worked with at Enterprise Car Sales was amazing start to finish. At the Hempstead location we worked with Sonia, Anthony and Herber to help us get the right car for us. We tested out a few cars until we got the perfect one for us. They also were able to work with us to transport a few cars to test that were at their sister Enterprise Car Sales dealerships within the tristate area. Their customer service was exceptional. The manager of the dealership, Melvin, also spoke to us and was very friendly. The one thing that stood out from Enterprise versus other dealerships is the no hidden fees. There was the standard dealership fee and the regular DMV fees. Everything was explained to us clearly and it made the process super easy. If we are to consider to get another used car in the future we will definitely consider returning again.

Last month, I visited Tesla Westbury to obtain information about leasing a Model Y. The initial…read moreinteraction was positive, and the representative provided general details about the lease process. However, issues arose regarding the $250 order deposit. Before placing the order, I specifically asked what would happen to the $250 deposit if my credit application were denied. I was clearly told that the deposit would be fully refunded if my credit was not approved, and that Tesla would only keep it if I were approved and then decided not to proceed. Based on this explanation, which seemed reasonable, I proceeded and paid the $250 deposit. After submitting my credit application, I received the following message in the Tesla app: "Your Model Y financing application was not accepted. Select a different payment method in the Financing task in the Tesla app." Based on this message, I reasonably assumed my application had been denied. When I checked the app, the only options available were Lease, Financing, and Cash. Since leasing and financing appeared unavailable and paying cash was not an option for me, I contacted Tesla to cancel the order and request a refund of my deposit. Tesla responded confirming that the refund would be processed. Two weeks later, I noticed that the refund had not been issued. When I contacted Tesla again, I was informed that they would not refund the deposit because my application had received a "conditional approval." This was never communicated to me. The only message I received explicitly stated that my application was "not accepted." Despite explaining this discrepancy, Tesla refused to issue the refund. This experience was frustrating and misleading. I am writing this review to warn others to take precautions before placing an order with Tesla. I strongly recommend proceeding only if you are absolutely certain your credit will be approved or if you are prepared to pay in cash. Otherwise, resolving issues in this process can be very difficult. Additionally, I would like to mention some concerns about the dealership itself. When I visited, customer parking was extremely limited. Most spots near the entrance were occupied by vehicles for sale, and other available spots were blocked with cones, leaving customers to park far away. Also, my wife noted that the restroom lacked basic supplies such as paper towels, which was surprising given the brand's reputation. Overall, this was a disappointing experience, which is why I am giving Tesla Westbury 2 stars.

There were a lot of issues with my order, a lot of delays and a lot of miscommunication from the dealership. I eventually got my delayed delivery of my vehicle and I was ready to just go on my way. However, they offered me a check for $1,500 for all of my troubles (I did not ask for it). 10 minutes later. Literally I got a text message asking to leave the dealership. A nice review, I decided to wait and see if they actually sent me a check or if the timing was more than a coincidence and they were just offering it to me so I would write them a good review and they would not send me anything. 2 months went by and I never got the check so I decided to write a review on the shadiness. Within an hour I received a phone call from my dealer and he apologized profusely and he had told me that the old general manager who was a young kid passed away and of course I gave my condolences and said that was horrible. He then offered me the $1,500 check yet again and I kind of rolled my eyes, but I said okay, let's see. This is the second time they're offering it again the second time that I did not ask for it. And here we are again months later and I still have not received that check either. And again after they offered it the second time I received another link to review their business. I really hate businesses that operate this way and that's twice now. They offered me a $1,500 check for my troubles and here we are. Months and months later still no check. Still no follow through and every time I've been back to either levittown Ford or Levittown Ford service since then it has been a nightmare every single time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IF SEE THIS YOU ARE READING THIS, BUY YOUR VEHICLE FROM SAYVILLE FORD OR HASSET FORD. DO NOT GO TO LEVITTOWN FORD. I hate liars, I hate when a business that I am spending a ton of money with tries to gaslight me into giving them a good review. Don't trust these people. And Levittown Ford when you read this, don't offer me anymore $1,500 checks. I don't want to hear it anymore. Unbelievable, at this point I could care less about $1,500, I would rather have been treated with respect considering I just spent a ton of my hard earned money with you. Two thumbs down for Levittown Ford
