I was especially impressed that Dr Lowe himself called me the day after the surgery's to see how I was doing. As stated in another review he is professional, caring and thorough. He is also supported by a great group of folks at Twin Cities Periodontics. The office is in a sort of mini strip mall of dental offices so be sure to pay attention to the signs or you'll end up in the wrong one, haha. The office is very clean and the lounge area is calming, which makes you feel better instantly as oral surgery can be quite nerve-wracking. I was greeted by the friendly receptionists upon arrival. They checked me in and I was called back shortly after. I had an appointment this morning for my wisdom teeth extraction - I elected to have all four pulled out. I was in and out of the office in 40 minutes! The first 15 minutes or so was spent taking my vitals and numbing my gums (I chose to only do local anesthesia). The next 25 minutes was the extraction. I highly recommend Dr. Todd Gerlach, DDS! He has wonderful "chair-side manners" and will explain what he's doing every step of the way. He's polite and makes sure you're well taken care of. I can't remember his hygienist's name but she was wonderful as well! She prepped me for the extraction and gave thorough post-operative instructions. I hope to not come back for oral surgery again but if I do, I hope he's the one to take care of me!

Matt greeted me promptly at 7:00 a.m. and prepped me, always his usual, courteous yet friendly self. His administration of novocaine was painless and he explained and double checked the procedure. Dr. D. then did the same, explaining each step as we went along while both he and his assistant kept me well rinsed and as comfortable as possible throughout. Visual scans confirmed everything that had been done and any questions I had were answered quickly and expertly. I have had some traumatic dental experiences in the past elsewhere, so was slightly hesitant going in. My family of 4 has been seeing the team at Parkway Dental for over a decade, though, so I know firsthand that they are beyond competent. They actually CARE about their patients. At no time did I feel unsafe or uncared for. I was even given a lovely fleece blanket that proved to be a great calming agent. Truly, though, it is their professionalism and compassionate care that shepherded me through. I go back in about a week for my permanent crowns and am actually looking forward to it!

Rather than charging us the estimate out of pocket we would pay based on previous experience with Delta insurance they just put all of the bills on our credit card. Then we were the ones who had to follow up to get everything rectified, corrected and matched up to what our insurance company had paid. This is not how other people do business around here. Close to $1000 worth that we should not have had to pay upfront was returned.

Got there early today only to find out I wasn't on the schedule and they were full and couldn't see me. The doctors may be great, but I left a different Metro Dental location due to incompetent reception/scheduling staff. After getting a 2nd opinion and talking with my dentist about it they called me again in Sept 2017. I said fine, let's see if they will be any better. Nope, consultation was nothing I hadn't already heard 1 1/2 years earlier and still no forward progress. Today I got a $55 bill in the mail from them for the consultation in Sept, this was on top of the $200 some dollar payment I made at the time of my first visit. Would definitely not recommend this office based solely on the zero communication I received from them. Pretty much wasted my time and delayed my treatment.
