Chris is the absolute best; I feel so comfortable catching up with her about life during my visits, and it's astounding to me that she can remember all the details of our convos 6 months later. That's how you know this business and the team really care about their patients and see them and respect them as real people. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire experience is a pleasure, something I imagine many don't say about the dentist. From check in and the friendly receptionist/admin team, to the hygienists and Dr. Brenney, I've never had a more painless experience at the dentist. The friendliness is a welcome respite from how loaded everything feels (literally) outside and the staff truly seems engaged and interested in your life. Cleanings are a breeze and Dr. Brenney is a true professional and extremely good at what he does. They explain things to me in simple terms and their pricing is very reasonable. J&D Dental was able to see me within about a week to do X-rays. While doing some X-rays they found some fillings that also needed to be taken care of. I made another appointment for my cleaning and another appointment for the dental work. They currently have a promo for new patients and I choose the teeth whitening. When it came time to do my dental work I had a complete panic attack with tears and everything. Staff were super sympathetic and understanding. We came up with a new plan to skip the fillings and just fix the chipped tooth as a way to for me to get familiar with them. They even offered a prescription to help with the anxiety. Upon my return I felt extra cared for and appreciated that they explained everything they did beforehand. This place really listens and cares about the people coming in. This is our family's go to dentist now. I would highly recommend J&D.

In setting up my appointment via email (they were SUPER responsive!), I let the team know I was a bit nervous and apprehensive about visiting a dentist after all this time. They made the appointment process easy and comfortable. Getting to the office was really easy and Dr. Clavin and his dental hygienist were, in a word, incredible! They both walked me through what they were going to do and asked if I had questions/concerns as they went which set my mind at ease. I have a cap on one of my front teeth I've been able to keep for almost 20 years (10 years beyond the "life expectancy" of caps) and it makes me SUPER AGITATED and anxious when most dental hygienists pick at it because it feels like they are 'loosening' the cap. I also happen to have a very small mouth which can make regular procedures such as whole-mouth x-rays and scheduled cleanings highly uncomfortable if not downright painful. I let them know about these concerns and anxious feelings and they did everything RIGHT to make my visit as comfortable as possible (in addition to just *listening* to my concerns, which, honestly I think most dental patients don't feel happen).
