My Hygenist is Chris and my Dentist is Dr. Brenny! Dr.Brenny is great and he is always in a good mood and excited about his job. Chris is the absolute best; I feel so comfortable catching up with her about life during my visits, and it's astounding to me that she can remember all the details of our convos 6 months later. That's how you know this business and the team really care about their patients and see them and respect them as real people. Chris also does an amazing job keeping my teeth healthy and clean, and I love my toothbrush pack freebie at the end of every visit. This is honestly the best dentist I've ever been to. I never had issues with billing, never any issues with insurance, appointments are alway on time, the office is very clean and oddly relaxing for a dental office, lol, and the staff is always helpful and great at their job! There's not enough stars to give Ivory and the entire staff. I started coming in 2020 after extensively researching other dental clinics in my network and took a chance based on the absolutely stellar reviews on Google and Yelp. Now, I can't imagine going anywhere else. The entire experience is a pleasure, something I imagine many don't say about the dentist. From check in and the friendly receptionist/admin team, to the hygienists and Dr. Brenney, I've never had a more painless experience at the dentist. The friendliness is a welcome respite from how loaded everything feels (literally) outside and the staff truly seems engaged and interested in your life. Cleanings are a breeze and Dr. Brenney is a true professional and extremely good at what he does. They explain things to me in simple terms and their pricing is very reasonable. Came to Yelp looking for a new dentist, saw the stellar rating for Ivory, and decided to give them a shot. Boy were the reviews on point for this one! I have literally never been to a dentist that didn't spend half the appointment criticizing me for the very thing I'm there to get help with; it's worth going for the shame-free experience alone. Beyond that, the staff is both quick and eager to help. They were able to squeeze me into a busy schedule on short notice, which is always a relief when you are having acute dental distress. They are very up front about their pricing and how it will work with your insurance, and I don't expect any surprise bills. Ivory Dental is amazing. Appointment reminders are sent over text. The staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. The facilities are pristine and state of the art. Cleanings are painless and effective. And there are tablets above the chairs so you can watch Netflix while you're getting your work done! If I could, I would rate this place 10 stars! Having braces for a few years, I was never one to be nervous about the dentist until a few years ago when I was rudely told by another practice that I had multiple cavities and needed scaling and root planing. Having preventative-only insurance at the time, I wasn't able to go forward with doing any of their recommended procedures. Fast forward 3-4 years, I now have a great new job with great dental insurance. I was referred to Ivory Dental Group by an acquaintance so I made an appointment to see Dr. Brenny. I was very nervous since I knew that I had a lot of work that needed to be done. To my surprise, I was told that I actually did NOT have any cavities and that while I would need the scaling and root planing, they were very understanding and not at all condescending. Dr. Brenny introduced me to Chris and she was able to squeeze me in later that afternoon to begin my first treatment. The actual procedure was not pleasant (obviously) but Chris did her best to make me comfortable and checked in with me frequently to make sure that I was still doing okay. She did a great job of explaining what she was doing, why she was doing it, and answered any questions that I had along the way. For the second treatment, she moved around her schedule to fit me in the week after. After each treatment, she called 1-2 times to check in and make sure that I was doing okay and if I had any problems or questions. My overall experience was beyond any of my expectations. It became impractical to go to my former dentists office after moving. Choosing a dental provider, for many of us, is like standing on a cliff and looking forward into the precipice. When finding any service, I rely heavily on reviews. Ivory Dental Group and Dr. B in particular totally met my expectations. My appointment was, quick, relaxed, and thorough. I recently moved to Minneapolis and needed a dentist..whenever I left my last dentist my mouth would be sore the rest of the day and I thought that was normal. Yeah...it's not! Dr. B was absolutely amazing, and he was the one who actually did my cleaning and I left with zero pain and in fact I even got to watch Netflix during my cleaning...which was awesome! Highly recommend them. I just had a Dental Cleaning with Chris and checkup with Dr. Brenny and the rest of the wonderful team at Ivory Dental Group today. My appointment from Mid-March had to be re-scheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was completely understandable. I was pleased to see that the staff is working hard to follow a strict protocol to protect themselves and their patients so that they can continue to deliver the highest quality of dental care in the Twin Cities. They appropriately use best evidence practices including questionnaires on recent symptoms, exposures, etc. They also checked my temperature before my appointment and required me to wear a mask at all times (besides the cleaning and exam obviously). The staff was pleasant, professional, and courteous. It was great to see them all again and catch up with them. They do fabulous work at Ivory Dental Group and it breaks my heart to hear that many of their customers/clients/patients have been frustrated with their current limitations. But trust me when I say, this group is going above and beyond in their measures to keep themselves and you safe. I was very pleased to see it. Please, please, please treat the staff with kindness and respect during these stressful times. They are doing the best they can with the resources and abilities they have. I had a very positive experience going here today! I found out that my former dentist retired, and I needed to find a new dentist, but really didn't have any referrals. So, to Yelp I went, and found that Ivory Dental Group got stellar reviews, and I decided to make an appointment. The receptionist and Ruth, who I assume is the dental hygienist, were very friendly, welcoming, and kind. Ruth was very thorough in explaining everything she was going to do, especially when it came to using the panoramic x-ray machine, which is something similar to that you would see in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. :) Dr. Brenny is awesome! Very nice person! He gave me one of the most painless teeth cleaning experiences I've ever had. Gentle dentistry is definitely the name of the game here. I am so happy to have a new dentist (in a very convenient location for me, might I add), and I will refer anyone to this office if they are in search of a new dentist! read more

I have never experienced a dental visit like my time at Ivory! I had just switched occupations and needed to find a dentist that was in-network, and after a careful google search found Ivory! It was super convenient to where I live and work (downtown MPLS) and had phenomenal reviews. When I walked in, I was WARMLY greeted by staff - almost to the point where I thought I might have been in the wrong place? I had pre-filled out my paperwork, so as soon as I signed in I was ushered away to be seen - which is the QUICKEST service I have ever received. Really, no waiting? On the way to the back room I made a comment about how quiet it was in the office - and I cracked a joke about how we should play some classic rock. As Dr. Brenny came to see me (literally 2 minutes later), they switched their office music to good ol' Tom Petty - unbelievable! I had just made a little joke, and was so surprised at the distance that staff went to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Brenny was a complete professional, and even gave me the option of making my own decision as to whether I wanted to be numb or not - which was great, because i had a big presentation later that afternoon. I really appreciated the option to take charge of my own care, and even though I chose to go without sedatives Dr. Brenny was very careful to go at my pace to minimize the sensitivity. Also - they have a tablet with Netflix to look up at as the dentists are working! Overall, the experience was a joy - I was in and out in under 25 minutes with no waiting, I had great music and a great experience. Totally found my new dentist! read more

Dr Brenny and the whole Ivory Dental staff go above and beyond expectations. From the moment I walk in, I am greeted with smiles and warm welcomes. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed. The treatment I received from Dr Brenny was for Invisalign. He walked me through every step of the process and explained in detail what was going on and what to expect. He also showed me the computer graphic images on how my teeth will shift throughout the process. Pretty cool! Everything worked as he explained. Perfection! Throughout the process Dr Brenny and his assistants were very gentle. I joked a few times saying I'm so relaxed, I may fall asleep. Dr Brenny is very personable and he always has a smile on his face. I've had dentists all over the country having lived in several big cities and I can say with confidence that Ivory Dental Group compares favorably with any of them. Everyone in the office is friendly. The technology used in the office is top notch. The technicians and our dentist Cole Brenny all do a great job. This is all great, but having heard so many horror stories from friends and family about other dentists who nickel and dime them, the best thing I can say about Ivory Dental Group is that their pricing is fair, honest and reasonable. I have LOVED going to the dentist since finding Ivory Dental and Dr. Brenny. I used to dread it. Now it is so relaxing. You walk into the lobby and immediately feel at home. The decor and people are so warm. Dr. Brenny is very positive even when he tells me to floss more:) Other dentist have made me feel so bad about it. Ruthie, his assistant, is so energetic. She always remembers what we talked about last visit and picks up where we left off. I feel like I am part of the family. As someone who works in the dental field, I can be quite picky. First of all, looking for a new dental office can be quite daunting if someone near and dear to you is unable to provide you with a good referral. So here I was on the hunt for not just a good, but a GREAT dentist. I was unable to go back to my childhood dentist because if you could imagine working in a dental office and trying to get an appointment at another dental office.. just doesn't work. First I went and looked at the dentist list of who was in network with my insurance plan. Holy moly, HUNDREDS. So I decided to start reading reviews. Not only do I want to see great reviews of the office and the doctor that I am going to be seeing, but I also want to see a professional website with photos of a clean clinic. I also want to see that the office is up-to-date, using modern technology. I want digital x-rays to be used, which are proven by the ADA to be much safer and have a higher quality in diagnostics. The office is easy to locate in the Medical Arts Building on Nicollet Mall. I was first greeted by Tracy who was very kind and welcoming. She was easy to assist with check in without any hassle. The front desk/lobby area is 1920's modern décor with music to match. Ruthie took me back and was so much fun to talk with. She was extremely professional and was easily relatable. She was a pro at taking x-rays, quick and didn't jam that digital sensor into my gums. Her laugh is very contagious as well! I then met Dr. Cole Brenny. What a phenomenal doctor! Since it was my first visit, he was the one who would be cleaning my teeth. He was very gentle with the scalers and took his time- he did not rush AT ALL. So professional and was very genuine. We discussed the findings in the x-rays and went over things in detail. He made me feel very comfortable and I felt like I had been seeing him for years already. I also had the quick privilege of meeting their hygienist, Linda, whom was also very sweet! From the first second I walked in, to the last minute that I walked out-- Ivory Dental Group HANDS DOWN was beyond 5-stars in my opinion. These guys are amazing! read more
