Doctor was excellent. However, the delivery service by the staff was a bad experience and left a lot to be desired. First of all, I went to pick up, and my glasses were given to me in a bag. No sit down to see if they fit or you can actually see or read, as usually done. As I stood trying them on, I asked for an adjustment. The attendant seemed annoyed. Anyway, finally got my glasses and left. The professionalism of the staff was not there. read more

This eye care facility provided timely service, with shorter wait times compared to other providers who were booked out for weeks. The cost of the eye exam was also more reasonable compared to other facilities. The front desk receptionist and Dr. Ly were both very kind and professional during my appointment, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained with a wide selection of eyewear available. read more

On November 12, 2021 with a new Rx for glasses, my wife and I came into E2E because we had called ahead and inquired if it was possible to get new glasses made on the same day. They indicated that depending on the Rx it was certainly possible. After a couple of hours we settled on two new frames for me; one pair of regular progressive lenses and the other Oakley progressive lense sunglasses. I also work on a computer as part of my daily job and had brought in a pair of glasses that I simply needed new "computer" progressive lenses made for them. After the sticker shock for all three pairs of glasses ($1,500+) we were told it would take up to 2-3 weeks for them to be made. Because we really liked the new frames and the features that they said they could do, I decided to just proceed with the purchases anyway. I wasn't in a huge hurry and it was just before Thanksgiving so I factored that into the reason it was going to take so long. Weeks later we still hadn't heard from E2E so my wife simply stopped by to check on the status. Low and behold 2 pairs were back but we hadn't been notified at all. When we inquired what phone number they tried using to contact me it was my desk phone number at work. Apparently they "assume" every phone number given to them is a cell phone and they send TXT messages to notify, however they never actually check to see if the message was ever successfully sent. Nor do they actually pick up a phone and try to call and speak to anyone. To add insult to injury, they have completely screwed up the Rx and focal points on both pairs of glasses making them useless to me. When I returned them, my third pair, the computer glasses, had arrived. Again no notification, they had continued to use my desk number even though we had provided both my and my wife's cell phone numbers. And as if the comedy couldn't get any better, the third pair was even more screwed up than the other two pair. They had not only not gotten the Rx right, they made the focal point as if they were regular glasses, not computer ones. Oh and it gets better, weeks later the second attempt to make all three glasses arrived. This time they did get my cell phone number into their system but I arrived to find the sunglasses lenses were not fitted correctly to the frames and the computer glasses are again incorrectly made. The focal points for the bifocals are even lower than before rather than higher. So my computer glasses were sent off a third time to be made!!! Yesterday, January 12th I finally had time to go get my third pair. Oh, and one of the other things I didn't notice whenever I ordered the glasses at E2E initially is that this place isn't open on weekends. Because I was notified on Wednesday January 5th at 5:21PM ( 9 minutes before they closed for the day) that my third pair were ready to be picked up. Bottom line, 2 months and 7 attempts to make lenses correctly for 3 pair of glasses. So needless to say I do NOT recommend this place for anything but frustration. read more

Dr. Ly and his staff are amazing. A co-worker referred us a couple of years back and we have not been dissatisfied. We have gotten contacts and glasses numerous times. Their glasses are a little pricey but the selection is phenomenal. I have two teenagers who are very particular and hard to please. My husband and I have been going to Dr. Ly for several years. We have always had a great visit and feel Dr. Ly is very knowledgeable and utilizes the latest technology to thoroughly examine the health of our eyes. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable in the fitting of glasses and contact lenses and the insurance coverage of our plan. Their glasses are high quality and they don't hesitate to repair any of them if needed. Glasses are expensive but they are well made and worth the cost. I've been able to reuse my frames for several years making them an economical purchase overall. read more

Ok so I have never Yelped about an optometrist. But, after moving from NC to TX and having had my eye prescription from February just before the move, I had bought a pack of contacts and when I tried out the new script I wasn't feeling it was working accurately. So I had to wait for my health insurance from my new job. Anyways I have EyeMed. I called the local target to inquire since they honor EyeMed and they referred me to Dr. Lee. Well I was pleased to get a Saturday appointment offered once a month on the first Saturday. The staff are all friendly and accommodating the office is very clean. I explained my eye history. Explained my old script didn't seem right. Dr.Lee's staff took me back about twenty minutes late but I expect doctors office to be a tad slower especially for exceptional time and patient focused care so I didn't mind. I'm also a new patient so I expected them to have some time to enter my insurance etc. I did like going online to get the forms like my medical history etc done. That was very easy. Now back to Dr.Lee he took the time to evaluate and test my eyes. He explained that my vision had changed quite a bit which I could tell, especially in my left eye. He picked up on a cataract forming in the posterior aspect of my eye, which made a lot of sense in what I was experiencing. He noticed my astigmatism in my right eye which is slight. I work in healthcare and have an excellent understanding of the anatomy of the eye and how vision works. He was very thorough and I feel he's a gem of a doctor. Taking his time to ensure my eye needs are met. I feel a lot better with my new script and I feel he's my new eye doctor as long as I'm in Tyler. Make an appointment. He impressed me with his knowledge and it's obvious he's passionate about eyes. I can't recommend him and his team enough. You'll be happy you decided to trust them with your eyes. read more
