My father lives approximately 10minutess from Lakeland. So he arrived before 6 am. A bit of history - My Father has alcohol-induced/alcohol withdrawal seizures. He has been hospitalized at Corewell Health/Lakeland more than 5 times for this over the past year. Each time he's admitted, his wife and/or I arrive at the hospital very quickly to be with him and to provide the nurses/staff with information surrounding the seizure and medical history. This includes the fact that if he's not treated quickly, he will have another seizure. Which the staff ignores and waits to treat him until he has the 2nd seizure and then responds with "You said that would happen". Unfortunately today (2.19.25), neither his wife nor myself was able to arrive close to the time he was admitted into the ER at Corewell Health/Lakeland. I did not arrive to Corewell Health/Lakeland until 7:30am. When I arrived, my Father was admitted to ER # room 28. There seemed to be a huddle of ERs staff preparing to start their shift and receiving updates. I proceeded to ER room # 28. When I entered the room, much to my surprise my Father laid calmly on the bed with his baseball cap on his head. I tried to question him about the baseball cap, and he complained about a burn on his leg. He was not hooked up to an IV and the burn was exposed and untreated. He sustained this burn during his seizure from falling out of bed and on a heater. The exposed burn was extremely troubling due to the risk of infection. A few facts on seizure patients - after a seizure the patient typically feels confused, discombobulated, and disoriented. My father has experienced all of the above with each seizure and admission. After noticing the cap, seeing the exposed burn, and seeing no IV, I immediately went to speak with a nurse/staff to ask about my Father's care and treatment plans. I was directed to speak with two male nurses who were assigned to his treatment. One of the male nurses was Alex M. They said the night nurse said my Father pulled the leg covering off and the IV out however but he was given meds to prevent another seizure and they were heading to him to redo what he had done. I thanked them and waited in ER room # 28 with my Father but found no evidence of a bandage being pulled off or an IV ever being put in. When the male nurses arrived to the room, they treated the burn and put in an IV. They were accompanied by a female nurse/staff who had a purse/crossbag on which seemed very unsafe and unsanitary. The time was close to 7:45 am. Shortly after, a male Doctor came in the room and asked me the typical questions and I again provided everything I knew about my Father's history. I figured his medical history is in his My Chart however I understand with the busyness of the ER, the Doctor might not have gotten the chance to read his history. At 8:50 am Emily Nelson came into my father's room, did not ask many questions, and stated he was going to be released soon. This seemed a bit rushed and premature. My Father was still very disoriented. Not five minutes after Emily left the room, my Father began to show signs of another seizure. I quickly ran for help and the male Doctor quickly came to aid my Father. He asked my Father some questions in which my Father could not formulate words to answer. The male Doctor didn't give my Father meds but sent Alex in and Alex provided treatment. Sometime after Alex provided treatment, my Father said he needed to use the restroom and proceeded to get out of the bed to walk. I pushed the nurse call button for help because my Father was still disoriented, very shaky and had a wobbly walk, and almost fell. Alex helped him to the restroom and back but shortly after My father needed to go to the restroom again and had an accident on himself and the bedding. I asked for help again and a female staff named Ally came to assist and help him to the restroom. I had already informed Ally of the mess made on the bedding. Ally returned my Father to the room without cleaning him, removing his unclean underwear, or cleaning the bedding. I quickly stopped her and said he has to be cleaned, the bedding needs to be changed, and he needs new undergarments. Very snappy Ally responded saying "I tried, he wouldn't let me". I explained to Ally that he absolutely had to be cleaned, given new undergarments, and the bedding must be changed. I also explained to my Father that he had to allow Ally to help him and get him all cleaned up. She began to help him and I stepped out and stood by the door to respect his privacy. The other male nurse asked me "Does she need help in there" and I assured him "yes". Ally said to the male nurse "I already washed his A**". I was sick with the treatment & feared leaving my Father after they said they wanted him to stay a night or so. Alex was so kind.

KitchenAid is one of those kitchen staples that goes from "nice to have" to "how did I ever live…read morewithout this?" If you cook or bake regularly especially running a household or a business like I do...this thing is a workhorse. From mixing batters to kneading dough, it saves so much time and effort. And let's be real... anything that makes life easier in the kitchen is a win. Pro tips: -shred your chicken it's a game changer, I have carpal tunnel that I have had surgery on both hands but literally has helped me out on many occasions. -get at least one attachment I have the pasta maker and grinder. I make my own ground meat which is 10 times better than purchasing all ready grounded. Why? Well at least you know what's in your own ground meat! Pasta maker just levels up your pasta dish with freshly made pasta and tastes better. The value of a KitchenAid is priceless it's a little pricy to purchase, but it pays for it self if you use it regularly.

My sweet Momma gifted me her KitchenAid mixer and we use it to this day! It is durable, reliable, and pretty! It is amazing the volume of attachments that are available for purchase for this KitchenAid mixer that can turn that machine into a pasta maker, a pasta cutter, aa grain mill, a shaved ice maker, a food processer, a sausage stuffer, a sifter/food scale, a food grinder, and a food slicker/shredder. This KitchenAid mixer is a powerhouse and can do much much more than what we use it for which is primarily cake and brownie mixes and homemade bread making. I agree with Yelp friend, Marianne, I do love the KitchenAid blender colors! Their colors range from "scorched orange" to "matcha" to "cast iron black." KitchenAid also makes and markets espresso machines, coffee makers, and coffee grinders, kettles, toasters, food processors, hand mixers, countertop ovens, grain and rice cookers and cookware. KitchenAid's major appliances include refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, microwaves, ovens, disposals/compactors, and hoods/vents. Thanks, KitchenAid, for years of enjoyment from your iconic KitchenAid mixer!

I have the iconic KitchenAid stand mixer my sweet Momma gave me! I am not a huge baker, however, I've used it to make pastas, cakes, and anything and everything that needs to be mixed. It's a true kitchen power horse! The attachments available for the stand mixer are truly almost endless in varieties! I've kept it simple with the regular mixer "blades" the spiral dough hook, and the three piece steel accessory set. Do know you get spiralizer blades, sheet cutters, sausage stuffers, food processor attachments, grain mills, fruit/veggie strainers, shaved ice attachment, food grinder, ice cream maker, juicer, and more! I've had InSinkErator garbage disposals over the years without any problems at all! Our current garbage disposal is an InSinkErator. Hub sinstalled it with no problems whatsoever. Of note, the InSinkErator garbage disposals are the only garbage disposals invented, designed, and assembled in the U.S.A. A great reason to support InSinkErator! Our current side-by-side refrigerator is a Whirlpool "Gold." Yes, it broke once, and was rather pricy to fix; however, overall it's been a good refrigerator for many years. The ice maker crapped out, and with just two of us, who cares? I just make the old fashioned ice cubes. We aren't big ice cold drinks people anyway. Thanks, Whirlpool, you truly have been "improving life at home...for over 110 years!"

Unfortunately, our recent experience with their warranty service has been extremely disappointing. We currently have a refrigerator at one of our properties that is still within the warranty period but has stopped working. Whirlpool sent out one of their authorized service providers multiple times to repair the unit, but the issue has still not been fixed. To make matters worse, the service provider has stopped returning our calls entirely. When we attempt to contact Whirlpool directly, the experience has been just as frustrating. We are frequently placed on hold for long periods (often close to an hour), only to be transferred to another representative and placed back on hold again. For a company that sells appliances at this scale and markets strong customer support, this level of service is extremely disappointing. At this point, this has been one of the worst customer service experiences we have dealt with regarding a warranty issue. Service Job Number: SWPTC4C58354-1 Model: WRS325SDHZ Serial: HRE0803444

Skyler continued to assist as needed throughout my shopping. I narrowed down my choices and Skyler put together 2 carts for me because I was undecided between 2 different sectionals. I went back again with my sister a couple days later so I could get her input, and we were assisted by Braedyn. When we mentioned that we were concerned that the sectionals would look too bulky in my living room, Braedyn showed me how I could separate the sectionals I loved into 2 pieces as a sofa and love seat. Once again I was thrilled with the service I received. I shopped at other furniture stores, but I thought the furniture at Bob's was very reasonably priced (except for the mattresses). I finalized my sale today and was happy that both Skyler and Braedyn were working so that I could tell them both how much I appreciated them. I'm a little concerned now as I see all the bad reviews, but I am hoping my delivery goes smoothly. I definitely plan to update afterwards.
