Went to Andrew watch women's and men's basketball game. They have a new gym that they play their games in which is nice. The website has the wrong address/ location for the game. When I called to ask for assistance no one was available to talk to, only an email to contact someone. They also have a food truck during the game. Free parking at the gym facility. Bathrooms gender specific with multiple stalls. read more

I firmly believe and KNOW Andrews is where God intended for my Son to be! Any difficulties we had were handled with the utmost delicacy and discretion when brought to their attention. My Son was very pleased with his instructors and had a very good relationship with them, as well as, ease in communication. I had to commend them in writing because I had heard so many negative things about this school. I am glad we didn't allow that to sway our decision! DO NOT BELIEVE THE MARKETING! Andrews University is not a Adventist university with their neo leftist secular teachers and overall fake college experience. Transferring from an accredited state college I could definitely tell I wasn't welcome at this university nor was the education any better or more spiritual than anywhere else. I'd steer clear of this university and recommend Southern or a state university instead of wasting you hard earn money and valuable time here. The campus is quite lovely, with a combination of relatively simple yet picturesque brick buildings, a fantastic performing arts center, and a new health and wellness center opening in the summer of 2019. The campus has a collection of lovely and well maintained trees, and is considered an arboretum by the state. Points of interest include an Adventist history museum in the basement, an all you can eat, well local-sourced, buffet cafeteria, and the soon to be opened wellness center, which community members can join. read more

This campus is architecturally ugly with a real institutional feel and sprawl. There are a few things to see including a museum in the library basement with fantastical images from the Book of Revelation, but signs tell you not to touch the beasts. However, you can tour the university dairy and touch the real beasts. The adults are free to move in and out of their stalls, and calves are generally placed several to a pen and play with each other. While this is not a factory farm, it is sad to see the mothers separated from their babies, who will try to suckle your hand or arm. This dairy will be shutting down soon so if you are interested see it while you can. read more

I had a terrible experience as an employee, because of my low position I was not treated with respect by my department. The worst position is a part-time employee with a low status value. Do not work here if you will be hired on as such. The financial department and employment department are very disorganized and exit procedures are difficult to navigate. I would not recommend being an employee or student at Andrews. You quite possibly will be treated badly and will not get your money's worth as a student. You could get a better education at a state school or another Christian institution for a lot less money. They need better policies for part-time employees and students. read more

The five stars is for the amazing spiritual support and environment you can find here. It's easy to get involved especially if you live in the dorms. There are a lot of great professors in the science departments and Honors departments. Their are many professors who truly care about their students. What Andrews does best is creating an environment where you can deepen your relationship with God. This far outshines the downsides, the foremost being the disorganized and mostly unhelpful financial aid department and academic affairs offices. I dropped out of here back from 2011-12, I don't remember exactly. I kept failing the anatomy Physiology II class twice with d and c and only would let me move on till I had B grade or higher, plus the old lady that calls herself the PT adviser was complete useless, she would not help me with anything and had meetings that lasted 5 minutes each visit and she showed favoritism to other students because, I was not seventh day Adventist.... I hated the mandatory chapels or you get fined for missing certain amount chapels and programs which took time out of study classes and worst of all the school is in complete hick town with small fastfood joints, grocery stores and, long stupid farms.I was very low on money and could never get a job in or out the area, they would refuse me a job and opportunity and that was final straw and dropped out there.... I literally lost 2 years of my life there, that I could never get back. read more
