Today was our first visit to this establishment for an oil change. I called and found out from…read moretheir automated message that are open until 7 PM, which is perfect because we needed an oil change in a hurry, in order to head out of town for an emergency. When we arrived, there were a considerable number of cars ahead of us. Zaaire came out immediately to greet us and asked if I wanted any bottled water. He was very professional, genuine and kind. We knew that it would be a long wait because of the number of cars ahead of us, but he did a great job at setting that expectation for us. While we waited to be worked on, he came 2 more times to make sure we were good and to see if we needed any water. I have to say, I was very impressed with Zaaire. I've never had this level of service for an oil change outside of a car dealership before. Our total weight time was about an hour and 45 minutes. The actual oil change didn't take long once they started. Of course, there were items they tried to upsell us on, but every place does that. Everyone was very kind and professional. My only complaint is that they did not check our tire pressure, which is something that would normally be done when you get an oil change. We hadn't initially intended for this to be our go-to oil change spot, but it just might be in the future. Highly recommend!

Directly following the service appointment the car began to blow white smoke out of the tail pipe. At first we thought it was simply oil burning off, but in the following days it only got worse. I had the car towed for an inspection on Thursday of the same week and the mechanic there confirmed that the oil in the car was dirty and very low. He was unable to see any obvious leaks and determined the issue was from oil starvation. The car now needs a complete engine teardown, and possibly a transmission teardown with a quote of $20,000. This issue was nonexistent before the visit to Take 5.

They definitely did not vacuum out the car and they left a note in my car saying my coolant was low... He didn't even verbally tell me it was low, just left a note on my dash!! I also purchased a deal where you could add a $10 tire rotation on, but they would not rotate my tires either. He said one of my tire's tread was at a 3, so they wouldn't rotate any of them. I asked him if I needed a tire rotation and he said yes that I definitely needed one. This location used to be good but I guess they are under new management and they are totally different now. Communicated for weeks about my truck build, once it had been in their shop for about a week they…read morecalled me and told me they "dont know what to do pick it up now" and repeatedly said another guy with a Silverado was in the process of suing them. I sent the truck in with nothing but a dead battery and 10 grand worth of parts and got it back broken down. They told me there was metal in the transmission and they didn't know how to delete the DOD (weeks were spent discussing the build) which didn't matter either way given I gave them every part to rebuild and bullet proof the transmission had the truck sent straight to Chevy and the transmission had 0 metal in it and nobody has been able to figure out why my truck is broken down a week later, absolute unprofessional bums.
