Today was our first visit to this establishment for an oil change. I called and found out from their automated message that are open until 7 PM, which is perfect because we needed an oil change in a hurry, in order to head out of town for an emergency. When we arrived, there were a considerable number of cars ahead of us. Zaaire came out immediately to greet us and asked if I wanted any bottled water. He was very professional, genuine and kind. We knew that it would be a long wait because of the number of cars ahead of us, but he did a great job at setting that expectation for us. While we waited to be worked on, he came 2 more times to make sure we were good and to see if we needed any water. I have to say, I was very impressed with Zaaire. I've never had this level of service for an oil change outside of a car dealership before. Our total weight time was about an hour and 45 minutes. The actual oil change didn't take long once they started. Of course, there were items they tried to upsell us on, but every place does that. Everyone was very kind and professional. My only complaint is that they did not check our tire pressure, which is something that would normally be done when you get an oil change. We hadn't initially intended for this to be our go-to oil change spot, but it just might be in the future. Highly recommend! read more

STAY AWAY! My daughter took a car in that I own for an oil change. She was told the car did not need an oil change and that they would top it off at no charge. Directly following the service appointment the car began to blow white smoke out of the tail pipe. At first we thought it was simply oil burning off, but in the following days it only got worse. I had the car towed for an inspection on Thursday of the same week and the mechanic there confirmed that the oil in the car was dirty and very low. He was unable to see any obvious leaks and determined the issue was from oil starvation. The car now needs a complete engine teardown, and possibly a transmission teardown with a quote of $20,000. This issue was nonexistent before the visit to Take 5. read more

This group of "techs" at this location failed to replace the oil cap on my vehicle resulting in a blown engine. After contacting them and working with their review team, it was determined that a cracked head gasket is not a result of the oil cap not being placed back on but rather because fluids got too hot..... go literally anywhere else, the savings on the fees are not worth the damage to your vehicle. read more

I'd do negative stars if I could. Took my Tacoma in for an oil change and the "mechanic" completely stripped two of the bolts that hold up my skid plate. I had to tap the holes just to get bolts to hold it up again. I knew the second he put the bolts in that he stripped it. I will NEVER do business here again. I used to come here all the time and received fast service. I understand that COVID has really put a pin in many businesses due to lower staffing. But the last 2 times that I came here only one lane was open and I waited for 15-20 min without being acknowledged before I left and went somewhere else. To me that is a terrible shame because service in the past was excellent. I really hope things begin to return to "normal" so I can give you another chance Take 5. Got here at 10:20, it's now 11:50 and I'm still here. The manager told me he would give me a discount for over an 1 1/2 hours . . $10 off a $103 oil change . . Wow. I have been a loyal customer for years, but their prices and especially the TIME is ridiculous and unacceptable. Last visit took 55 minutes at a different Take 5. Should be called Take your Time. The staff is nice at this location, but not enough to take my $$ and time read more

DO NOT GO HERE. I used to be return customer until recently. They over filled my Audi A4, they left a quart of oil in the pan and then added 4.9 quarts on top. It has damaged my motor. I now have to do all of my top end seals prematurely. Do not go here at all. read more

Mr Willie and Mr Corey gave me the best customer Service I've ever had. Not wanting to spend my whole Saturday in line or getting ripped off, they were quick efficient, checked all my fluids, everything under the hood, tires, windshield & wipers, etc. I love the fact that you can get topped off between oil changes. Not to mention, being a medic, I loved their safety checks With one another. You two make an amazing team! I wish I had went to this establishment sooner! Wanted to provide an update as I just changed my oil for the first time since taking my vehicle here. Firstly, turns out they forgot to put the new O-ring on my oil filter cap. Secondly, they didn't put the right amount of oil in my vehicle. My vehicle calls for 6 qts, and I got a hair under 5 qts out of it. I checked my service receipt and sure enough, says 5 qts right on it. My vehicle is 2 years old and has less than 20k miles on it. That is NOT the way I wanted to start out it's maintenance. TAKE 5??? It actually took me about 75 minutes. There were 2 cars ahead of me. They had a crew of 4-5 people working at the time. It took them 30 minutes to get me in the bay. Once I drove in the bay, it took them 30 minutes before they came to change my oil and another 15 minutes to actually change the oil and service the other fluids. There were 8 cars, 3 bays, and they serviced 1 car at a time. Other than the waiting they did a good job on all the items they checked. read more

Friendly service people but took forever to have my oil changed. So much so that I saw two people come and leave that were parked behind me while I was pulled into my lane. I work for a local competitor, and we are always having to fix things on new customers' cars that Take 5 did incorrectly. Even today a new customer came in with an oil filter double gasketed, and one of those gaskets was broken/cut, and oil was dripping a line of drops behind the customer's vehicle. The customer had almost no oil in their vehicle, and if they had not come in when they did, their engine would have been permanently damaged, to the point of needing to be replaced. Do better, Take 5. This happens far too often. read more

Priced me an oil change which I agreed to. Then after change was underway, told me the oil I priced was not available and they were going to charge me more money. Bait and Switch!!!! That's illegal in our state, isn't it? We won't use them again!!!! Apparently, they've been using this same scam for awhile. I just saw this on a review further down the list in 2018. - - - BUYER BEWARE!! Tried to scam me by not telling me they were out of basic conventional oil when I asked from the beginning. Essentially doubling the price after I waited 40 minutes. Didn't offer me a discount on the higher service so I left. Won't return as it just smells like a scam. read more

Will never be returning to this place. I put my car in the shop today because I kept smelling burnt rubber while driving. The mechanic told me that whoever did my oil didn't fully cap my oil so it was leaking into my exhaust which was causing the burnt rubber smell. I paid so much for the oil change just for it to basically waste away. read more

I originally liked Take5 because they've never pushed unnecessary air filters which showed integrity and kept me coming back. However, every Take 5 I've been to, I wind up with windshield fluid issues. They don't use pre mixed solution, so it's always either mostly water, which is ineffective, or overly diluted to the point my entire car is left blue for several weeks until the flood runs out (and sometimes hands touching the car). There's even blue on the inside of car door sides!! I spoke with mgr about it and they were not willing to compensate me for all the hassles and extra car washes. They did not have good customer service in these areas, and I will find another service place because of this recurring problem. These places are all filled with youngens straight out of high school. This makes for poor and unprofessional service. read more

Drew gave me great Customer Service. I came in for an oil change ( my sticker said it was time and I live in Cleveland OK) and Mr. Drew told me that I qualify for a top off. He explained that the sticker was for halfway so they could check to make sure everything was good and safe for me. I wrote up a review about it and posted it and they followed up by saying they were very sorry and for me to send them an email so that they could address our concerns. I wrote the email and we never heard anything from them. I think they just do it to take the pressure off them without ever intending to make things right. We won't be back read more

I've been to Take 5 a few times to get my oil changed. They establish some hospitality on the hotter days by offering you a water as you pull in. Staff that I have encountered are very trust worthy, and are there to help and not sell. My most recent visit was for a routine oil change, where I was surprised to hear from the employee that I didn't require one. After showing me a side by side with a new jug of oil, I was convinced. Saved me money and established a great deal of trust with the business. Would highly recommend for your car maintenance needs! read more

Very nice man and good customer service. Unfortunately, the location didn't have the filter that would fit my car. No big deal, I left. When I got to the next oil service place, they told me they couldn't service my car because there was no oil cap. The employee from Take 5 had not put my oil cap back on, there was oil EVERYWHERE under my hood. Luckily, it had just been tucked to the side and luckily, I decided to go immediately to another facility. The guys here were awesome! They gave us a free bottle of water as soon as we pulled up. They made sure we knew what we were getting before they even touched the car. Our brave little toaster (I drive a scion Xb which is literally a box on wheels) wasn't ready for the speed and hospitality that these guys showed during our experience. We will definitely come back to these dudes any time we need an oil change!
