I needed my oil changed and I've been passing by this place to and from work everyday. There was a guy with a sign for a deal on the oil changed so I figure what the heck? It's convenient. I walked in was greeted by one of the staff. He was very friendly and even offered me a cold beverage as I waited. I just got the standard and they didn't push me to do any of the extras. I WILL NEVER LET THESE CROOKS TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN! Today I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They ended up breaking off my lug stud and tried to blame "whoever put on my tires." My boyfriend put them on by hand. They claimed that it had been cross threaded (the only way it would have broken off using their impact wrench). However, we put the lug nuts on with ease BY HAND! There is no way that we could have wrenched any lug nut down all the way while cross threading it, BY HAND! These thieves think young girls know nothing about cars. Worst customer service known to man. I visited them on 12/16/14 for a premium synthetic oil change and included in the service was tire check. After paying for my service, I noticed my car pulling quite a bit and after driving the 2 miles home, I get out only to notice the front passenger tire is nearly flat. I call them and received no apology, instead I was directed to drive back. Arrived back at the shop and the lady at the counter didn't acknowledge me for so long, that who I assume was the manager asked if someone was at the counter. It wasn't until then that she asked if I needed any help. Again, I told her what transpired and again, no apology. Before you take your vehicle here, I want everyone to ask themselves a question. Would you really entrust your car to a shop that advertises maintenance that they DO NOT comlplete? Furthermore, if they are so negligent as to ignore a low tire, is it not indicative that they would be even more negligent with tasks which are even more "complex?" I can pay $60 at my dealership but chose to go here because of the convenience, having said that, convenience is NOT worth the potential expense incurred when places such as this provide miserable and substandard service, both towards the customer and on the vehicle. I've been going to Precision Tune for years but I will never go to them again! I paid for an oil change basic enough right? Well a few days later I learned that they drained the oil out of my car but did NOT replace it! So my Camry died on the side of the turnpike. Now of course they say they're not at fault and they did everything right yada yada bull crap because you idiots killed my Camry. And I'm not the first person to get screwed over from you and I'm sure I won't be the last. I have always found precision tune to be very professional and timely for oil changes. BUT, I recently took my car in for an AC check. The guy insisted my blower motor and blower motor resistor needed to be changed because both were completely ruined, told me it would cost $600. I felt sketchy about it the next day I took my vehicle to a local auto shop and within 15 minutes told me my resistor was out and the blower motor was completely in tact. They charged me $200 and my AC works perfectly! Will use for oil changes but nothing else because of that encounter. read more

Only problem was, when I went to double check later on that day (as I usually do) they had not refilled or changed any fluids that I could readily check like windshield wiper fluid, the container was bone dry. They are okay on oil changes, haven't had them scam me for more money so far. They take a long time when you start adding other things. 4.5ish hours to get my oil changed and new brake pads and they didn't even get everything done that I wanted to do. Plus at the time they were relatively slow in the lobby. First they didn't find missing hardware fron the brake inspection until after I already had them do mor expensive options to fix my squeaky brakes. Then they didn't just come a tell me and instead went on a mission to find the part while making me continue to wait. Then they had me come back in because they couldn't find the part that day. After I took a second trip there they didn't check they had the right part until my car was taken apart. Wanted me to come back for a 3rd day. I can't afford to waste all of my time there. read more

I have always changed my own oil and filter but the older I get the less I like doing it. I have a Dodge Ram 1500 which is easy to get under but reaching the oil filter is a real chore. The last time I changed the oil I purchased the oil and filter from Wal-Mart and the total cost was $30.89. I decided to give precision tune a try this time. The gentleman was extremely friendly. I went with the standard oil change and was not pressured into purchasing anything else. In and out in 20 minutes. Total cost $35.05. Do I believe it was worth the $4.16 additional to not have to drive to Wal-Mart and crawl under my truck and get frustrated. Heck Yeah. Good job Precision Tune. read more

Went in for oil change, then was told I needed the cabin air filter changed as they showed it to me, I said ok (dumb move) they not only charged me twice what the filter retails for but then $10.00 for installing it. If I would have said no to replacing it they would have had to put the original one back in for free so why charge for putting in the new one? I did not ask them to check it in the first place. When I got home I opened the hood and had to clean up the oil that was dripped all over the engine ( yes I keep a clean engine) and the one clip that is hard to reach had to be fasten back on the air cleaner. read more

I got my oil changed here 9/19/2015 and I had a terrible experience. I know most places take out your air filters and try to sell you new ones, which I politely declined because it was going to be an extra $100. They also tried to sell me new windshield wipers, which I knew I didn't need because it rained the day before. I felt from the moment I walked in that they saw me and thought, "Here's a dumb young girl, let's sell her everything and tell her she needs it". After my visit, I couldn't use my glovebox so I took it home to my dad and they had reinstalled my air filter and glovebox incorrectly. Never, ever again. read more

This place may be great for a quick oil change, or it may not. (I've heard some pretty bad stories from people I know.) However, I will say this, if you ever need anything more than an oil change, or frankly just need help, never EVER go here. My car recently died on 33rd and Broadway and I was luckily able to coast into the parking lot right beside their business. While pushing my car into a parking place, the lovely mechanics sitting in back smoking decided it would be fun to smirk and laugh at me. I went inside to talk with the receptionist about having them look at it, who was rather rude from the moment I walked in. She informed that I would need to have my car towed around to the other side of the building because they couldn't manage to take a look at it otherwise. I told her that it was probably just a connection from the battery and she said that it would be a $75 dollar charge to look at it, then labor and parts on top of that. So, I proceeded to call my mechanic (Lee's Auto 2300 N Portland Ave Oklahoma City, OK 73107) who told me what the probable cause was (for free, over the phone, no questions asked) and I was able to run to O'Reilly, grab a new connector and fix it myself. For $3. I wouldn't trust Precision to wash my car, much less work on it. Aside from my experience I've heard: Parts were disconnected and never put back, oil pans were left unscrewed and the oil drained out, wrong size batteries were put in, old batteries were sold under the pretense of being new and the list goes on. Just don't go here. Go somewhere that actually cares about doing a good job. read more

We just pulled into this business by chance as we passed through town knowing we were way past time to change our oil. My expectations were to be both overcharged and up-charged for everything they could think of. Neither happened! The office manager who took my information when I entered the building asked which level of service I wanted, but not until she told me that today, they are offering $5 off the stated prices. Then, she told me there were 3 oil changes ahead of me and that I should expect a wait of 45 minutes. Right about 45 minutes later, she announced that my vehicle was ready and it was the exact amount quoted. She told me they did a check and don't have any recommendations for additional services! Wow! Great customer service, best priced and quick service. Needed Ford Van alternator replaced and called around to get quotes. Christian Bros, Reynolds Ford were $200 more than Precision Tune and required all day wait time. Precision Tune had me out in less than an hour. Bobby, Precision Tune manager, knew the part was only carried by a few suppliers and knew exactly where to go. I was so impressed with all of their service people. While sitting in the lobby I heard multiple conversations from Bobby the manager with customers explaining different things about what was right or wrong with their vehicles and was impressed at how customer service oriented they were. I even heard Bobby discussing with another shop how to save a customer money and provide the best choice without the customer being present to hear the conversation. Very impressive and without any hesitation I would highly recommend them to my most valued friends or family. read more

Since new managment or owner has taken over this place, the quality has plummeted! Have been going to this place for 8 plus years. Took my car in for a regular oil change on Monday and long story short, they stripped the thread of my oil pan and the oil plug. Then didn't tell me, and just tried it to seal it with this rubber glue thing. I lost 6 quartz of oil. I didn't notice for about 5 days and had been driving around. If you know anything about engine oil, this could have destroyed my motor. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE! Do not! They will destroy your car!! I'm taking it in tomorrow(Monday) and see what they are gonna do. But again STAY AWAY! nothing personal against the new guys but if you feel like getting your car wrecked then go for it. Do not take your car here for anything but oil changes. I have had my oil changed here several times and they were rather quick. If they try to tell you something else is wrong take it somewhere else to get better pricing. The last two times I was in I was told I needed more work done than what was really required. The first time I was told I need brakes and I really just needed brake pads. The second time I was told I need 2 lower arm controls replaced and I really just needed one. Both times prices would have totaled over $1000. After this last experience, I will not even go back for an oil change. They lost my business for good. read more

DO YOURSELF, YOUR CAR AND YOUR WALLET A HUGE FAVOR AND KEEP DRIVING PAST PRECISION TUNE .... DO NOT LET THEM TOUCH YOUR CAR. If I could give them zero stars I would. Went there last Thursday to get an alternator replaced. Was told it would take 2 to 2.5 hours. Left almost 5 hours later and my car wasn't driving correctly. Saturday I had to jump start it three times and took it back and told them something was wrong with the alternator they installed. They supposedly checked it and told me everything was fine. Wednesday evening I was driving 55 miles an hour and the car shut down. Luckily there were no cars around me as I managed to maneuver my car to the shoulder. I jumped started it again, and not even two minutes later it died again. I was able to pull into a 7-Eleven parking lot so I would not be stuck on the shoulder in the dark and risk the possibility of getting hit while waiting for a two truck. I had it towed to Christian Bros. in Edmond where I normally get my car fixed and Thursday morning they called me to tell me the alternator in my car was bad and didn't work after performing a diagnostic test (supposedly what Precision also performed). Well, I called them and told the manager and said I didn't feel comfortable with them working on my car given ALL my bad experiences with them and asked that they either reimburse me or pay to have Christian Bros. replace the alternator. The "manager" told me I had to take it back to them to have them cover it even though I repeatedly told them I didn't feel safe having them work on my car considering I could have had a terrible car accident or worse. So, I am warning everyone, do NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE FOR ANY REPAIRS. Take it to someone reputable who knows what they are doing and doesn't have to "google" or "read message boards" - manager's words, to figure out how to work on your car. So they called me 18 minutes before closing time today to tell me my car was done and "by the way" you have a huge transmission fluid leak and we don't fix those. Strange thing, there was no transmission fluid leak that morning at Christian Bros. prior to the tow truck they ordered picking up my vehicle to take it to their shop. Took it by O'Reillys to check the transmission fluid level, and turns out it wasn't that. It was a coolant leak by the radiator from either a loose hose or bolt. Also, when Sarah called me at 3 to tell me my car had arrived at their shop and they were working on it, she made no mention of this HUGE TRANSMISSION LEAK, which only confirms that they caused it. Additionally, they broke the strap that holds my battery in and just threw the two pieces in the engine. I had to fish them out. I have NEVER in my entire life encountered such horrible and malicious service and never had such damage done to my vehicle from a shop that is supposed to be repairing it. Been telling people what happened and they all tell me they have heard horrible things about Precision Tune. Wish I had talked to them prior to taking my car in last week. And during this whole ordeal I have NEVER received an apology from either Sarah nor Nathan and from other online reviews I have been reading about this Precision Tune location, that seems to be the norm for them ... do a repair incorrectly, don't apologize, damage something else, don't take accountability .... I don't know how they are still in business. read more

I've taken my '05 Jag in for a brake job and oil changes and my wife's '10 Expedition in for oil changes as well. First, the recommended brake job on the rear rotors and pads took a long time because the tech doing the work was unfamiliar with how to do it. Yikes! But more of a concern to me is how the rear brakes smoked for a week after the job. I've always replaced my own brakes and never seen this before, certainly not for a week! On that day I let him change my wiper blades as well, however, the right blade does not make good contact and as a result the windshield on the passenger side does not get "wiped". Also, I don't feel they have used the correct amount of oil on either vehicle. They both take 7 quarts but I have had to add at least a quart to both after each job they did. Neither vehicle smoke or leak oil. On the Expedition, I changed the oil myself this last time and saw the wrong oil filter...it was dramatically smaller than was is recommended for that size engine and no where close to the correct size OD. Plus I had to stick a screwdriver through the filter to get it off the block as it was way over torqued and finally, I had to replace the drain plug because it too was over torqued and stripped. I'll never go back or recommend them because I can't trust the quality of service. Shame, because everyone I talked to there were all pleasant. read more
