I originally came in for a smog check, and even though my car didn't pass the initial test, Hovo and Megan were incredible. What really sets them apart is that they handle DMV registration and title services right there. It is a total game-changer to be able to skip the lines at the DMV and get everything handled in one spot. The team is professional, fast, and clearly knows cars inside and out. All I needed was to update my registration address and leave with my vehicle tags (everything has been lost in the mail for years). I walked in for my appointment and was greeted very warmly. I explained my issue and he said no problem let's do it! While he was sorting through the paperwork I brought, he was very friendly and we talked about sports and what I do for work. I would have paid whatever to resolve this and the pricing felt extremely fair and worth it to finally have done. I was in and out in 15 minutes after being stuck with my issue for years. Taking a little quiz here. Well, I called Jeorge (the owner of the shop, and made an appointment for the 1st of this month for 10AM). He didn't give me the run around like some other shops/mechanics do. Can't make it, try next week, I am booked, busy, and so forth. I still yet have to meet him in person. My son got there even 10 minutes prior, left the car with them and after an hour and a half went to pick up my 2003 525 BMW. As we all know, parts and labor for all European and Domestic cars can be very expensive. Especially for European cars. Jeorge, did an Oil Change with filter $120.00, drained the old oil and put 2 quarts of synthetic oil, replaced the back light from the drivers seat that stupid NOHO car wash broke, $30.00, put more coolant in my car, cleaned the remaining residue, and also replaced Cataclean. Cataclean, is a fuel and exhaust system cleaner designed to reduce carbon buildup, clean oxygen sensors and fuel injectors, and restore catalytic converter efficiency. $40.00. It's ok, I didn't know the meaning of the word either. He explained that to my son. I had also mentioned about 2 of my cup holders being broken. He found a very nice cup holders and explained to my kid that once he replaces them, it won't close like the old ones that I had. That itself is $60.00. We need to put that on hold . Needed to fix the important things for now.. Eventually we will get to that. He even took a look at the tires and said they were fine. My son told me that the place along with the waiting room was spotless clean. They also do smog check. Cash and credit cards along with debit cards are accepted and so are walk-ins. I highly recommend Jeorge, his employees, and Smog Clinic Test and repair. No need to look elsewhere. They also do electrician type of work. 1 stop for your car needs and the only stop.. Thank you...
