I decidedto go to Ford, which that's all I've owned anyway once I entered into the establishment I was greeted by Aramis the sales person. I immediately told him about my bad experience and then he told me that he would ensure my experience at this dealership would not be bad whether I bought a vehicle or not once I told him what I was looking for he immediately went to work by browsing through his inventory and then brought out a vehicle that was everything that I wanted it was a fairly simple process as my finances are squared away, and my credit is A+ plus, there was no pressure to buy in the sale and I also finance through my credit union. Unfortunately, for me, I had a medical event that prevented me from driving at the time however they allowed me to keep the vehicle there for about a week until I I was medically cleared to pick it up. I also had to utilize help from friends during this time of purchase and they were just as gracious to them. It has been over 20 years since I have bought a new vehicle and coming in dealing with a medical event that I previously had had was going to be challenging but diverse for itself especially Aramis and Bill were the ultimate professionals and I would definitely go back to them or wherever they go to get my next vehicle. Also, when I purchased the vehicle, my neighbor noticed a rubber piece was coming up as a vehicle was preowned. I took it back within two weeks of purchase and they corrected the issue which needed a new piece and I was able to get the new piece at no charge. Aramis and Bill at Stivers Ford South were absolutely phenomenal and made this experience a very good one thank you Ford. Thank you Stivers Ford South. Thank you Aramis and thank you, Bill. Racist comments, threats, and humiliation. The worst dealership experience my wife and I have ever…read morehad. In February, my wife and I drove an hour to this Ford dealership to purchase a truck. We knew exactly what we wanted and were ready to buy. Our salesperson, TR, initially seemed friendly, but his attitude changed dramatically during negotiations. TR told us he would "lie to the dealership" to get us an additional $500 discount while repeatedly winking at us. As we continued negotiating, he became increasingly angry and made racist comments about people of my race always wanting everything cheap, saying that does not work in the United States. Then it escalated beyond rude comments. TR walked us outside and told us to come back another day. When we explained that we had driven an hour and could not simply return, he got in my face and threatened to fight me if we did not leave. I was genuinely scared and knocked on the dealership door to get help from other employees while he continued threatening me. Bill, a sales manager, came outside, told TR to leave, and calmed the situation. He treated us respectfully, convinced us to return inside, and closed the deal. Bill and Henry then asked us not to leave a negative review and promised our first service would be free because of what had happened. When I returned last Friday for that service, Benjamin in the service department was professional and helpful. However, the promised service had never been documented on my account, so he directed me to sales. Sales manager Mike told me I had to pay. When I explained the promise, he said Bill no longer worked there and Henry was not a manager, so nothing could be done. I then explained the original racist remarks and threats and pointed out TR, who was at the dealership. What happened next was appalling. Mike went behind the counter, TR joined him, and they started laughing while repeatedly looking at me. After approximately 20 minutes, I asked for an update. TR pulled a wad of cash from his pocket, held it toward me, and bragged about how much money he had. They eventually said they would cover the service, but by then the interaction had become another opportunity to humiliate me. TR said he would personally pay, continued showing off his cash, and made a condescending comment that I needed the money because I had driven an hour. I repeatedly said I wanted to pay for the service myself. As I left, Mike and TR were laughing at me again. I went there to buy a truck, not to have my race insulted, be threatened with a fight, or have someone wave cash at me as if I were beneath them. The fact that a sales manager participated in the laughter after I reported the original incident made the experience even worse. I felt completely dismissed and disrespected. Paying for a service does not erase racist comments, threats, or humiliation. Asking us to withhold a negative review and promising a free service also does not resolve what happened--especially when returning for that service led to more degrading treatment. Benjamin deserves credit for his professionalism, and Bill handled the original confrontation respectfully. But my experience with TR and Mike destroyed any trust I had in this dealership. I deeply regret spending my money here. Based on how my wife and I were treated, I would strongly advise anyone considering this dealership to take their business elsewhere. Dealership ownership and Ford customer relations should investigate both encounters. No customer should ever leave a dealership feeling threatened, mocked, and humiliated.

I was informed that I could bring my truck in for a recall repair without an appointment. Since I…read moreknew the service department opened at 7:30 a.m., I arrived shortly after 7:00 a.m. to ensure I was there early, as I have a very busy schedule caring for my mother, who has dementia. When I arrived, I was unsure where to go. I entered through the service entrance and went to the building marked "Service Here," with an arrow pointing toward the door. However, there were no signs indicating where customers should park or line up before opening. An older gentleman in a white truck, wearing a white shirt, parked next to me. I politely asked if he worked there. After asking twice, he replied yes. I then asked where the service department was, and while pointing toward the door, he responded in an aggravated tone, "The door that says service." When I asked where customers were supposed to line up, he told me to park under the covered awning in a manner that was not polite or welcoming. At the previous Griffin Ford service location before the fire, customers would pull up to the service bay and wait until opening time. Since this new location has different traffic flow and no clear signage, I do not believe my questions were unreasonable. Unfortunately, this employee made me feel like I was an inconvenience and treated me as though I should have already known what to do. When I finally went inside, Heath Stephens took my information. While he handled the process, he was not particularly welcoming, and by that point I simply wanted to have the recall completed and leave. Customer service is the backbone of any successful business. A simple explanation such as, "Yes, park under the awning and come inside at 7:30 a.m., and we'll take care of you," would have made a significant difference. Instead, I left feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration and work to improve the customer experience for future visitors. I'm very disappointed.
