I purchased a whole house system from Ryan H&C 2 years ago and I'm still very satisfied. They were…read morevery knowledgeable on units, and gave me good recommendations. Their team is very nice and professional. (Ps.. I read a lower rated review on yelp and I laughed at one lady who said the service guy needed to go back for more parts and charged her $200 more. Does she think he carries thousands of different parts on his truck? Did she think the service was free? $200 was a great price. So just ignore that lady, she's not educated on how repairs work and costs for parts and service )

Ryan Heating and Cooling was recommended to us by someone we thought to be knowledgeable and well…read moreversed We called and scheduled an appt and were told there was a $120 diagnostic fee. The technician was shown where the problem was in the attic but didn't have the equipment with him to test it. He returned the following week, tested the faulty union, and went to get the parts necessary. We asked how much it was going to cost and he gave us an estimate before heading out for parts. He came back and within ten minutes left again for parts. The third trip for parts was finally adequate and it took him less than half an hour to make the repair. He then told us we owed over $200 more than the quote!! I called and questioned the owner who promised to put thru a $95 credit. When the credit card bill arrived, there was no credit. We called again and were told they didn't know what happened to it since it was mailed three weeks prior. (The owner was "too busy" to take the call). Two days later we got a check for $90. The envelope was postmarked the day of our last call. Our recommendation is that you look for heating or ac service from a reputable company that is efficient, knowledgeable, and, most importantly, honest.

If I could rate higher than 5 stars, I would. Tom Shannon and his team (Jeff and Mike) did an…read moreexcellent job installing a new Trane central air unit. I'm recovering from surgery and Tom was great about working with family members in my absence. He was kind enough to reschedule the install to a week earlier when he had another customer reschedule. Tom and his team arrived on time, covered my flooring for protection, worked fast and cleaned up afterwards. They were respectful of the property and very friendly, too. Thank you Tom, Jeff and Mike! I highly recommend Burrier Service Company!

What started as a wonderful experience dealing with Burrier has become a source of constant…read morefrustration. They installed a tankless system for us (January 2025), an HVAC heater (September 2025), and a humidifier into the HVAC (October 2025). They quoted me $300 for a valve replacement in writing before changing their mind if they would do the work, referring me to their parent company (Steingass) whose rep Jason came out. I asked Jason for two quotes, one for the one valve and one with an increased the scope, Jason verbally told me he'd quote that but the increased scope would only take a day of work. He then only quoted the increased scope at $3500 for two days of work. I emailed a reply to the quote but it bounced because their quote system doesn't send from an actual email address. Burrier installed the HVAC heating unit back in September but with piping that wasn't properly glued. This caused exhaust leaks into our basement during the winter when it turned on. They sold us a humidifier that doesn't work as promised. Despite multiple trips they initially couldn't find any issue. It was two months later that their installers found mineral buildup that shocked them and said to me that it looked like over a year since the filter was changed. So, we needed the added expense to add a separate water filter line. This was done at an upgraded post install cost. Unfortunately, even with this we still don't get good humidity (19% when set at 50%). Additionally, they scheduled a flush of our tankless system but their first tech who came on site only inspected the humidifier didn't do it. Then, techs came back several times for the humidifier none came with the equipment to flush it. I was told in writing by Tom that Lee would schedule but he didn't. I'm exhausted trying to stay on top of the issues. They don't follow up with me, I have to follow up with them. I have called and left voicemails that haven't been returned by the scheduling department. I have emailed sales. I wish they could have continued to be awesome like they were when we started working with them and hopefully they improve but for now I'm lowering from 5 stars to 2 stars to reflect the new reality of working with them.

When I asked him to check if there was a leak of gas from my furnace, he said everything is in good working condition and there are multiple safety measures to prevent any leak. But when I asked how to be sure there is no leak, he said that is a second step to measure with a meter and it will cost another $89. In any event, I didn't find him to be friendly and helpful to rule out my initial complaint. I did not opt for the second step. No second step for diagnosis was informed by Sal earlier. That said, I guess I must give the business a 5-star rating based on the professional scheduling and followup of the appointment. "One swallow doesn't make a summer' or "one bad day" is not a true reflection of the company. I am changing my rating at Sal's text request personally. It's only changed because I can understand Sal's concern as a businessman. He offered me free service in return but I declined it again. He got me wrong completely. My changed rating is only for the professionalism shown by the reception desk and their follow-up. It is not for the changed picture Ron gave that I asked if Ron wanted me to wear a mask. Who would ask that in one's own house? I was wearing my mask thoughout the encounter. As a 65+ year-old, I must be cautious. I don't need a service person's permission to wear a mask inside my house. Unbelievable. But I thought I must clarify to Sal's reply. Thanks Sal for your prompt response. But, isn't that a courteous way to ask ? - "You might want to wear a mask". He saw I was wearing one and he was entering my residence. Yes, I could have insisted but I think that is rude. Secondly, my complaint was "gas leak" and hence, the request to send someone from your company. I am not disputing any diagnosis. I just placed it before you, so it doesn't happen again.. I don't want any money back either. Service was rendered and I accept your company's policy. However, I thank the reception desk for immediately scheduling the appointment the same day. It was highly professional, including the update they followed up with. I commend you for that. Anyways, thanks for your immediate response. Much appreciated
