Shaved ice here was really good! Great options and tasted delicious! Would I come back? Probably not.... The environment of the place felt off, it felt like a coffee shop in France while I was eating my shaved ice :( it's also so quiet in there it's like you could hear every bite I took! I would probably come back and only order to-go because the shaved ice was great.

The ice cream was okay. Definitely had better. The waffle lacked flavor but was really soft. Came on a Friday night. No customer's. Didn't take long to receive my order. I do like the ambiance though. They have games to play, a couch and a few other sitting places. I may come back again and try something else since I do live in the area..

This is a Family owned little business in a strip mall. You have to call the number on the door to place your order and a lady slips out like a slithering snake LOL and places your order on a table. You also have to give her your credit card over the phone. They have a nice variety of snowcones and it is the powdered ice. :) They do have a good amount of syrups but I would not confuse this place as a typical snow cone establishment. They also offer other items but I don't ever get those LOL my favorite is the wedding cake with condensed milk on top and I always ask for extra. So this place is great if you just want a typical and traditional snowcone and you want to get in get out. And usually there's no line with lots of parking.

Super cute spot! I believe it's family owned but the service was great. We ordered 4 snow cones and they were all delicious. The small was bigger than we thought. It is a bit awkward to sit inside the restaurant, since there's no music and we were the only ones there but overall I'll visit again

I've been wanting to try out this place for a while and man, it was delicious! The owner was extremely kind and helpful in making recommendations. Service was fast and the price is very reasonable. I love the decor of this establishment, especially the hand painted surfboards that are along the wall. I will definitely be coming back to try some more shaved ice and the bubble tea here!

Nice neighborhood desert place which is very family friendly. This place is great to swing by after dinner or a movie to grab some shaved ice or bubble tea. The service is always excellent and the quality of the shaved ice is really good too. Sizes are generous so you can probably get away with a small. Do not pass on the snow cap (condensed milk + coconut).

This seems to be the only shaved ice place around but I'm glad we live nearby it! We've only been twice but my kids absolutely love it. The portions are beyond generous and the flavors are delightful. Rainbow with the snowcap has been my personal favorite so far. I love the little wall in the back with the beach painting (my kids love taking pictures there) but my favorite part is the friendly atmosphere and the joy that the owner exudes. Check it out if you're around!

My husband LOVES shaved ice and coming here to Paradise confirms why! Conveniently located in a plaza off Horizon Drive and Lawrenville Suwaee. What a great place to get your Hawaiian chill on! Families, date nights, gather with your friends. Fabulous tropical flavors to tempt you with cool island tunes playing to sooth you. And an owner who is as friendly as his creations are colorful! An all around delightful treat! You don't have to wait till summer to enjoy these crystalline confections!

Took my boys in for a treat and was pleasantly surprised they have ice cream and smoothies as well as shaved ice. The place was crowded and the owner was the only one working, but it was worth the wait. My son got a scoop of ice cream ($3.25) and my other son and I got fruit smoothies ($4.50). The smoothie was really good. The owner made us both extra and topped us off on the way out, despite still being really busy. Good alternative to big box ice cream chain stores. They will "treat" you well here!

I was in the mood for a snowcone and since I've been here several times in the past I thought nothing else of it. Well this CANT be the same owners as before. So first you have to wait outside to order your snowcone by calling your order in and due to COVID i totally understand. Well the women took my order over the phone but never told me my payment, then she cracked the door to get my debit card. She then brings my debit card back with no receipt, so I kindly as for the receipt and she cracks the door open again and hands me the receipt. Then when my snowcone was ready she cracks the door again and does not hand me my snowcone but places it on a table outside. She does all of this with no mask. So I get my snowcone and its hard with limited syrup. This just can't be the same owners I wont be back. I recommend sno-good new Orleans snoballs instead read more

Service is at the door. So when you walk up to the door you will have to call them on the phone and they will come to the door to collect your payment along with giving you your order. Lots to choose from but the shave ice does not hold much flavor. read more

Similar to Rita Water ice but Paradise uses sno cone flavoring but I like the "sno cap" addition which is condensed milk topped on whatever flavor you choose, which makes this treat unique. I grew up on Rita'sWater ice Gelati's with Vanilla custard real fruit flavors but I will add this joint to my once in a while dessert treat destination. I picked Green Apple and my daughter got cotton candy which were both great. I'm really interested in trying the tigers blood flavor on the next visit! The manager or owner of the store was really nice and made the visit extra pleasant. read more

The guy, who I assume was the owner, was so darn friendly. I think that that is where a lot of these high reviews come from. I really thought for a while before giving these three stars-it's obviously a locally owned, one man operation. I thought that maybe I should just skip the review. I really don't want to bring down his average with only three stars. But a three star review isn't bad. The store was clean and I enjoyed the reggae music. Every song that played, I'd have Google name the song for me so that I could learn about the artist. I'm getting more and more into reggae so I enjoyed this. I've been eating New Orleans style snoballs all my life and have introduced and got my family hooked on them too. Every trip to New Orleans includes a trip to Plum Street snoballs or Sal's and/or some others. Saturday was a beautiful day and as I scrolled through Facebook, I saw posts from several of my favorite New Orleans snoball stands. Dang, I wish we had a snoball stand in our area. Suddenly this place appeared and showed snoballs. We got there and quickly learned that they don't serve snoballs, but Hawaiian Shaved Ice. I guess they're pretty similar. Well they're not. Big difference. There was hardly any flavoring in my coconut. I let my family try it and they agreed, it was like eating ice. My wife said that she saw the guy put syrup in mine. I really couldn't tell that there was any in there though, especially since that was a clear syrup and had no color. Both my wife and daughter started getting down into theirs and saw the color change from a dark red to plain clear ice proving that not near enough syrup is used. I felt like I paid $4 for a cup of ice. Just as we finished, some girl went to the counter to ask about getting more syrup in hers. So it wasn't just us. Nice guy though which earned an extra star or two for him. Maybe Yelp can remove snoball from the description of this business. read more

Even though it was cold out, my friends and I came here anyway because of their DELICIOUS shaved ice. My friends had it before and raves about it. I drove kinda far so might as well while we just finished eating at Green Basil next door. We were greeted by the owner I believe, and he answered all the questions I needed. I ordered the Lava bowl. So they have different types of shaved ice. If you want only the shaved ice, they come in different syrup flavor combinations and sizes (Small, Medium, Large). They have shaved ice BOWLS that come in only one size and have ICE CREAM in the middle of all that shaved ice. So my Lava Bowl has strawberry shaved ice, condensed milk with strawberry ice cream in the center, topped with whipped cream. My friends ordered the pineapple bowl with vanilla ice cream in the middle with pineapple syrup, condensed milk and whipped cream on top. We also ordered one hot dog. I have to say, it was delicious that I finished a whole bowl to myself. The snow ice is soft but has texture and absolutely melts in your mouth. It went so well with the ice cream. The hot dog took a while but the owner was so apologetic and kept asking us if we wanted something else or have a drink with it to make up for the long wait. We didn't mind at all but the fact that he made sure we were satisfied was definitely an A+ in customer service. I would DEFINITELY come back if I'm ever in the area again to try all the bowls! read more

The owner was great he was super friendly. Me and my boyfriend went to grab shaved ice from here for the first time ever. I'm used to new Ireland styles snowballs and I was so excited to taste one. When I talented it I was a little disappointed because there wasn't as much flavor as I'm used to. So instead of posting a bad review over flavoring I decided to do what all people should do first simply ask for more. The owner was delighted to add more flavoring for me. He's wonderful and me and my boyfriend can't wait to return. read more

Yippee! Shaved ice in good 'ol GCO! And just in time for summer! As soon as I heard about this place I knew that I HAD to swing by asap. I love Hawaiian shaved ice and it's been surprisingly hard to find around here. This place did not disappoint! The store is located in the plaza with Movie Tavern, just to the right of YouFit, the signage is pretty good so it should be easy to find! The storefront itself is pretty simple, but clean. (100% health score on the wall) The choices are the plentiful. Just enough to have something for everyone without being overwhelming. I went for a small ice with pina colada and orange flavoring! Of course I had had to spring for the ice cream at the bottom(+$1) and the deliciously perfect snowcap (condensed milk?) on top. It was perfect and definitely hit the spot! Best part about this place? It's a brand new family franchise. The owner, John, was the one who took care of me and he was great. Super friendly and easy to talk to! Stopped in after a long walk and it was truly a hidden gem and great find. I had the sunset with a snow cap and it was by far the BEST shaved ice I've ever had! My kids and I all finished ours within minutes. They ate theirs so quick that I didn't have time to take pictures. They had the Tigers blood and rainbow and absolutely loved it. He has music playing in the background that gives you an island vibe which just adds to the experience. The owner is very nice and attentive and seems to work hard. Very reasonably priced for the huge amount you get for a small! If you don't try this place you will be missing out!!! read more

I'm usually in the plaza to do some studying at the lounge next door and figured I should give this place a try. I haven't had shaved ice since I was a kid and MAN does their shaved ice bring back memories for me! Owner is probably the nicest guy I've ever met, and their shaved ice is tasty and pricing is on point. I'll definitely come by whenever I'm craving a treat. read more

Omg we have shaved ice in Suwannee! TIGER BLOOOOOOOOOOD! Loved this place and the owner John. He was super friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable about his product! The space is bright and clean and the young man working the cash register was so polite and pleasant (Rashad, I believe was his name) I am so excited to have them in the neighborhood. If you haven't been here yet, you need to stop by! I absolutely love shaved ice and it's so hard to find around here. Growing up in SC we went to the shaved ice shacks every weekend! OMG! This place is Amazing! My son, my friend and her kids, and I went yesterday and the shaved ice was Fabulous! It reminded my friend of Hawaii and when she use to get it on the island. The owner is Great as well as his staff they even gave us some samples of new flavors. We have found our go to spot for something sweet. Will be trying more flavors as well as the many different Tropical Teas and other things they! Please check them out! read more

We come here A LOT! Shaved Ice with Ice Cream is a must! I've also tried the Thai Tea & Taro Bobas (Bubble Tea). The boba flavor here is really good...different from the usual boba texture and flavor. The smoothies are tasty too. Paradise Special with Orange Juice is one of my favorites. read more

Such a great dessert spot! The texture of the shaved ice is unlike any other I've had. It's so soft and it feels like perfectly flavored snow! So far I've had, the Hawaiian paradise, piña colada, and a mixture of coconut and cherry. I thoroughly enjoyed each one. I recommend adding the snow cap ($.50 extra). I will definitely be back and highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect treat for the hot weather. read more

We absolutely love this little shop! They have the best snow cones and chocolate milkshakes we've ever had! The owner is super friendly and so are his associates. They are great about making recommendations, and even have sugar free options. The atmosphere is very casual, laid back and relaxing. Listen to relaxing tropical music while you surf the net via the free wifi. Family friendly atmosphere with cute, colorful leis for the kids. Great for groups or to just hang out solo. This is going to be my new favorite place for the summer! Let me start out by saying the atmosphere is so welcoming and tropical. The owner was there and was so delightful and pleasant. I felt like I was friends with the people in Paradise but it was my first visit lol the shaved ice exceeded my families expectations by a long shot. This has become my family's weekend staple. We love trying new creations and topping them off with a snow cap. I was so happy to wonder upon Paradise Hawaiian Shaved Ice. The owner & staff was friendly and after reviewing the many flavors I settled on Tigers Blood... YUMMY! After living on Oahu for 4 years, I missed shaved ice from the North Shore! Paradise takes you back to the North Shore with authentic Hawaiian shaved ice.
