went here yesterday after going for sushi, as it was my daughters 7th birthday. Even though it was 36 degrees outside., they were still very interested in going to it. I was pretty disappointed with this, as they are EXTREMELY expensive for what you get. First of all, they use this tiny ice cream scooper, and a 'small', which consists of '2 scoops'., Each 'small' is around $3.50 , and the total bill came to around $11 ish. For this amount of money, we could have gone to the supermarket and bought 3-4 half gallons and mixed the flavors to create the same...but i guess in the end, you are paying for their name. We asked to sample the flavors, but apparently, they do not sample. Though, its a nice concept, we will not be going back here, as the prices are way to expensive...even for my NY Taste. read more

This review is only about getting value for your money. The owners of this location really do give you a much smaller scoop of ice cream than at other locations. If they see you holding a coupon in your hand, you'll get even a smaller serving. If this sort of thing bothers you, travel down Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road towards Lawrenceville and you will be at a location that actually gives you a decent amount of ice cream for the prices they charge. My husband and I have travelled to both locations for over a year and the serving sizes have been smaller on every occasion on the PIB. Just watchin' out for your dollar. read more

Ok. These people have hiked up their prices to an exorbitant degree....and they have freely admitted that they do it because they think this is an area full of "rich people"! A large malt is almost $8 if you insist they make it properly (with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup rather than just throwing in some chocolate ice cream and milk into a blender) it gets worse. These greedy owners will charge extra every chance they get on top of their inflated prices. To make matters even worse, some of the flavors taste as if they have freezer burn, so I suspect they are not changing them out as often as they are supposed to. I can literally drive to another location only 10 minutes away and pay almost half the price on many items and I do! I recommend giving a better class of people your business, because the owners at this Bruster's are ripping you off. read more

The kiddie cones they advertise in their ad for kids under 40" tall are NOT FREE. In the ad, it does not mention anything about having to purchase anything to get it free. Since, I did not buy anything for myself, I had to pay $1.50 for a little kiddie cone. By the time, we got the ice cream it was already melting.
