I forgot to take a photo of the full order. Shame on me, because it looked like a pastry runway…read moreshow. I've also had PB bookmarked for quite sometime...so I blame my eagerness for the failed group runway photos. Lol I placed my order at 5 AM for an 8:15/8:30 AM pickup, and they still managed to pack everything like they were preparing it for royalty. Let mama break it down for you! Berry Tart: This tart walked in looking like it pays rent. Gorgeous, glossy, and so pretty I almost apologized before cutting into it. Clients loved it. My kids loved it. Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice: My 2‑year‑old (CEO of Strawberry Obsessed Galore) approved immediately. Every layer had actual thick strawberry pieces, not those sad little bits that makes you wonder if there were even strawberries in here or just mushed up pieces... Sweet, creamy, NOT overly weak and a total show‑off. We devoured it. Fruit Pastry & Raspberry Fruit Bite: Flaky pastry + custard + fruit = the holy trinity. These two didn't miss. They understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Curry & Crab Croquette: I'm team CRAB croquette. It was loaded, crispy, and basically winked at me. My colleague, however, acted like the curry croquette was a spiritual experience. Pretty sure his eyes rolled to the back of his head..HAH. Both are winners! Pepperoni Pizzetta: My 4‑year‑old took one bite and immediately rejected Papa John's. That's the entire review. Case closed. Iced Sweet Green Tea: This one... was not it. It tasted like coffee that borrowed someone else's filter. We'll just leave it at that. Now, let's talk service: They open at 7 AM, and somehow had my entire order made, warmed, packed, organized, and ready in just over an hour..while other customers were inside, AND they helped me load everything into my car. My short notice didn't even make them blink.

Since my…read moresorority sister moved to this incredible walkable community in Buford, I've been spending so much more time in the area and discovering this gem was the ultimate highlight. From the moment you walk in, the aroma of fresh-baked pastries wraps around you like a warm hug, instantly putting your mind at ease. The interior is stunning, bright, modern, and buzzing with the best energy. Even with a packed house of happy customers, the vibe remains sophisticated and welcoming. I spent my wait time snapping photos of the display cases because every single creation looked like a work of art! The staff members are the true stars here; they are incredibly kind, attentive, and eager to ensure every guest has a perfect experience. I couldn't leave without a massive haul. I picked up treats for the entire household and plenty of goodies to enjoy at home later. If you are anywhere near Buford or shopping at the Mall of Georgia, this is your sign to stop in. This wasn't just a bakery run; it was a full experience. I'm so excited to finally have an Island Fin location in the north Atlanta suburbs! I've been…read morehearing about Island Fin for years and how they are several steps above other poke restaurants that we have. And after finally getting the chance to go to one my, I can say wholeheartedly that I agree!! They have so many more authentic Hawaiian toppings, and it's a gluten-free paradise!! All their toppings but three are gluten free! So, all their sauces are gluten free! Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Poke is such a great way for sushi-lovers to eat that kind of food at a more reasonable price, and Island Fin is my new favorite poke restaurant. Ruth, the owner of this location, is an absolute delight. She talked with us for quite a bit, and we loved getting to know her. And the employees were so kind and patient as they talked us through all the options. They had really cool flavors of sodas by Tractor at the machine: organic, non-GMO, made with cane sugar, etc. Lots of fun flavors. And DO NOT MISS THE DOLE WHIPS!!! For any fellow Disney fans, yes, this is indeed official Dole Whip. If you close your eyes and take a bite, you will think you're in Magic Kingdom. They have the classic pineapple, but they rotate through other flavors too like orange or strawberry. We drove 35 minutes each way to get here, and we will absolutely do it again. The best.

I take my Yelp reviews seriously because I want to give people guidance on food and service for…read morerestaurants. We all want to know what to expect when we are spending our hard earned dollars. I was disheartened to see Yelp reviews that do not concentrate on these important aspects of a restaurant. Here's my review that focuses on these important qualities of a restaurant. I took my daughter here for a special lunch a couple of weeks ago. I made a reservation because I had read that Saturdays are busy. The owner even asked when taking our reservation if we wanted a certain table... how about that service? Wow. We are easy going so I told her no. We arrived a bit early because our plans to hike prior to our lunch were changed thanks to bad weather. It was no problem whatsoever and we were seated immediately. We have only been for breakfast once before so we were excited to try some lunch items. I chose the Christmas cranberry sandwich and my daughter chose the French dip sandwich. She ordered a coffee, as well, which I tried... it was amazing. It was a chocolate type one or maybe mint... so good. Our lunches arrived on cute plates and looked so good (hope to add pictures later). My sandwich was amazing. Seriously, the flavors were outstanding and the meatloaf was homemade and tasty. My daughter liked her French dip but was a bit disappointed because the beef was fairly large pieces so harder to chew than if it had been slices on the sandwich to dip. She still enjoyed it but I think she would order my sandwich if we were to go again for lunch because she tried some of my sandwich and really liked it. We, of course, ordered one of their cupcakes to share. I believe we chose a strawberry one. They serve it warmed up and it was the perfect choice to end our lunch... not too sweet; kind of light. While we were enjoying our lunch a family stopped in with grandparents along. I have never been there with kids so it was so cute to see the kids being able to pick out a metal lunchbox from the various options and then later have their lunches served in the lunchbox. What a great idea for kids. It is obvious that the owner has really tried to make this restaurant unique and special for everyone. I had read some reviews about cleanliness of items inside the restaurant. There are lots of items there. Let me tell you I was looking very carefully at everything (including the bathroom) and was trying to figure out how they could keep everything so immaculately clean. I was very impressed. I could not find a speck of dust or dirt anywhere (and they have white coverings on some seating areas, rugs, etc.). Yes, I feel confident giving this restaurant and the staff 5 stars. I have never ordered anything that has not been amazing and the service at this restaurant is spectacular. The server (owner?) even apologized as we were checking out that she did not have enough time to chat with us during our time there. This is a small business that deserves our support and patronage. I am so glad we stopped in again to this wonderful restaurant. Try it. You will not be disappointed.
