Took it to the dealer to get the wheel locks off but I wasn't buying a tire there or getting my rim replaced there, a rip off. I had the spare put on and the tow truck driver recommended coming to the city to this spot. They totally hooked it up! Professional and efficient, they took the tire, buffed out the rim and I just needed air in the tire thank goodness! The price was fair and reasonable! Thank goodness the tow truck guy gave me a solid referral!

When we just brought a new rubber for the first tire that popped else where they looked and said the tire was defective. The wires of the tire was not supposed to be out there like that especially on a good looking tire. That it could've been worse if we didn't slow down when we noticed the car driving weirdly.. 1 tire had a huge bubble and popped unknowingly and then after a few days the car started driving weirdly again and smelling of rubber so we looked and seen 3 HUGE bubbles on the inside of the tire. He said the 2nd tire was so bad he never see anything like that and hes surprised how we made it to him for a new tire. We knew it was bad but the way it looked when he took it off looked like it could explode in someone's face any minute. We wasted 80$ for 2 tires from Rodriguez Rims & Tires just for the tires to be defective and deadly..Please go elsewhere they don't give good tires.. I have a not so good picture of the 2nd tire but didn't get one from the first one.

We replaced the tire with my spare donut from the back but as those are only supposed to drive 50-70 miles and we had 300+ miles left to go, we needed to buy a longer lasting spare tire or replacement tire. My AAA - freakin useless, my liberty mutual roadside - useless, called every tow company, tire shop and roadside service in eastern Iowa, and in Illinois... not like we were in the middle of nowhere. Found one roadside that would bring a spare tire but they wanted $1,000 card hold..... We spoke to 30+ different places within that hour... Tires24 was literally the only place somewhat on the way that was open late. Someone answered right away, the guy on phone was patient and nice, assured us he would take us, even though we couldn't get there until right before closing because we had to drive below speed limit on the donut. When we got there, Lamont (the gentleman working) greeted us and understood and sympathized with our stressful trip there. He replaced the tire efficiently and was super professional and welcoming. The cost was surprisingly affordable, we weren't there very long at all which was great because we were exhausted. Lamont saved our asses and we highly recommend anyone in the NW illinois area call these guys first for tire and auto issues.

This review is purely based on customer service. I was driving near this shop on a Sunday when my…read moremuffler came loose and was dragging on the ground. As it turns out, auto shops open on Sunday isn't a thing, so I had to leave the car in the parking lot of Brad's Tires and come back on Monday. Brad's Tires is an authorized Firestone dealership and they have a giant Firestone sign, but they aren't a Firestone. So they don't actually do mufflers. But instead of just telling me, tough stuff, they took the time to rig the muffler so that I could drive to a shop where it could be repaired, and charged exactly zero for this courtesy. They also suggested shops in the ares where I could get a permanent repair done. Now that is customer service. People don't even help each other out like this anymore. But Brad's Tires does.
