I have serious skin issues - rosacea, dermatitis, lots of allergies, and Jill has been so patient and done so much research in attempt to help me. We have tried a few different products together and I have found some relief after seeing my dermatologist for years without ANY relief! I am hopeful that my skin might not be a lost cause after all! I was referred to Amy Rova by a friend to do some color correction work. My hair was really damaged…read morewhen an effort to color it silvery-blue turned out bad, and the prior stylist tried to fix it a few times, over-processing it and leaving it mushy and like straw and the wrong color. I met with Amy for a consultation and we spent a long time talking about what I wanted, and if it was possible to get there. She even talked to the prior stylist to find out what was used on my hair to help her help me get the best results. She set me up with a product to take home and use for a few days before I went back to start the process of lifting the multiple layers of mystery colors I had in my hair. I won't lie - it took a long time to get the color out and to prep my hair for the new color, but I think that was because she was being patient and trying to keep my hair as healthy as possible rather than just piling color on top of more color. Meanwhile all of the other stylists in the salon were warm and friendly, and they all seem to get along and know each others clients, which is very nice. In the end, my hair turned out just how i wanted it, and it feels healthier than it did when I went in. If you are looking for color correction, Amy Rova is the person you need to talk to. If i can figure out how to add a picture, I'll do that.

I have been twice now and each experience was absolutely amazing! Located in Old Town Scottsdale, Cathryn's studio is calming and inviting. She has a very professional attitude and personality, but also extremely friendly and warm. Her skills as an aesthetician are top notch and her years of experience shows through her technique. My first visit with her was my first ever experience with getting a facial and Cathryn made sure she explained every step of what she was doing and applying to my skin. I also loved how she tinted my eyebrows and eyelashes! Very natural and not overdone! I felt so relaxed and radiant after both sessions and cannot wait for my next appointment! I highly recommend Cathryn's Z Total Image and will be referring many of my friends to her.

A Husband's (Biased) Review for The Sweet Spot Med Spa & Electrolysis…read more As the resident guinea pig (and husband) of Roz, the owner of The Sweet Spot Med Spa & Electrolysis, I can tell you firsthand: if you have chin hairs or ingrowns, consider your search officially over. My wife, is a nurse, which means she's terrifyingly gentle but shockingly effective. She approaches an ingrown hair like a forensic scientist discovering a rare artifact--with absolute glee. My beard growth plans? Constantly thwarted by her eagle eyes and unwavering dedication to a hairless face. She's incredibly professional and, I reluctantly admit, exceptionally good at what she does. Five stars, if only for the sheer relief of not having to sneak-pluck my chin anymore.
