The interior was cozy and inviting, with a surprising touch--beautiful cutting boards displayed and available for purchase. While the craftsmanship was impressive, the prices felt a bit steep. We arrived around 10 AM, and I'm not sure if it was because of the holiday or just the timing, but most of the food options were already gone. The remaining baked goods, quiches, and hand pies looked appealing, though the prices ranged from $4-$10, which seemed a bit high. I opted for a carrot cake muffin. It was good--solid in flavor and texture--but I'm not sure it justified the $5 price tag. My friend ordered a flat white and described it as decent but unremarkable. The shop itself is quite small, and the layout wasn't the most intuitive. It wasn't clear where the line started, and since they preferred to keep the queue from spilling into the building lobby, customers were crammed into a tight space. Parking was another challenge, as most of it was limited to street parking. Overall, while the experience had its highlights, and probably would've been better maybe not on a holiday.

We had an exceptional experience working with Gwen to fully furnish our new home in Mount Baker…read more From the start, she was incredibly thoughtful in her approach--incorporating art we had already collected and using our existing dining table as a centerpiece to ground the design. She built everything out from there in a way that felt cohesive, elevated, and still deeply personal to us. Her communication, efficiency, sourcing, and design aesthetic are truly outstanding. She handled a large, complex project with impressive speed and attention to detail, and the end result exceeded our expectations. What stands out most is how livable and enjoyable the space is. We've received countless compliments from friends and family, and it's genuinely a pleasure to experience her work every day.
