I showed up close to closing time on a Saturday, with my Ball Multi-Floor that hasn't been used in months (it takes me a while to get around to things) because of a burning smell when it was turned on. Santos plugged it in, turned it on, ran it for literally under 2 seconds and turns it off. "It's the motor". Unlike me, Santos got right to it and took it to the back, where I assumed he was 'actually' diagnosing the issue since I had my doubts that one could correctly identify the problem just by hearing it run for a second (which didn't sound any different from what I could remember). When he came back, my vacuum was fixed. I was in there for about 20 minutes. 5 or 6 minutes to replace the motor and an internal hose where the connector may or may not have been broken by someone who thought he could fix it himself. The rest of the time was me blabbering on about how I couldn't believe he fixed it that fast. It didn't occur to me until I was on my way home that he had stayed a little past closing time just so I wouldn't have to make the trip from Tomball twice. I can't say enough good things about the service I received. Thanks, Santos! Side note: Even though we had already vacuumed the house with a borrowed Hoover earlier in the day, we vacuumed a room (that had little to no foot traffic since the previous cleaning) to test it out and the canister had a BUNCH of dust, dirt, dog hair, etc. that the Hoover wasn't picking up. I had reservations about spending the money on a Dyson, but between the performance and the service I can honestly say its more than worth it. read more

Every once in a while you get to do business with someone refreshing, someone who restores your faith in humanity. Yesterday I took my 85 year old father to the Dyson Service Center on Mitchelldale to get his Dyson repaired. We were greeted by Glenn who proceeded to ask questions and assess what we needed in order to fix Dad's Dyson (a part had been broken off the machine making it impossible to stand the vacuum upright). I asked how much it would cost and Glenn told us it would start at $80 for the labor plus the cost of any other parts he would need. When he found out Dad was here from out of town, he promised he would get it repaired and back to us before Dad needed to go home. Dad and I went to pick up the machine and as I got out of my car, Glenn called to me to stay there, he would bring the machine to us. I said, " but I have to come in anyway to pay you anyway" and Glenn said no, I didn't owe him anything. I told him that I didn't want to take advantage of him and he told me that his dad was no longer alive but that he wanted to take care of Dad like he would his own. He had gotten there early today to make sure he had time to fix the machine and he put a new roller head on it and cleaned it out. I was humbled and grateful that Glenn would treat my dad with the same respect and care he would use with his own. WOW. I recommend Glenn and this Dyson Service Center with my whole heart. Ok. If you have a dyson, thought about getting a dyson or want to know more about dyson, go here. I have a six year old Canadian Dyson vacuum cleaner (same cleaner but the model number is a little different). I'd been vacuuming up after two cats and two toddlers for a long time and I wanted to get it cleaned and repaired so that it will hopefully continue working for another six years. I brought my 2 year old with me to drop off the vacuum cleaner and she was loud and rowdy and embarrassing. The guy working there (whose name I didn't get, but he must be the owner/ operator) was so kind to both of us... unloading my vacuum out of my car for me and explaining what he would do, and the approximate cost while my daughter rolled around on his floor shrieking. I picked it up one week later with both my kiddos. It looks like a new cleaner. It's sparkly and clean and he replaced a bunch of the parts for me as well as giving it a cleaning. The cost was MUCH cheaper than I anticipated, he loaded my vacuum cleaner into my car and helped load my kids into their seats as well. Seriously. I fill these Yelp reviews out never. Go here. My husband took our Dyson to have it cleaned and was pleased with the service and attention to detail(and lets not forget the great price!!) he received. The best part of the visit by far was meeting Santos. Santos was very friendly and highly knowledgeable about Dyson products. He took the time to do a training so that we would get the most use out of our current model. My husband knew that we had been thinking about getting a new Dyson, but our old one worked just great (especially after the cleaning). Santos explained how we could purchase a new one and get 30% off towards the cost of a new one. I'm sure he had no idea my husband would actually come back the next day and make the purchase, but he did. The purchase was made for 2 reasons: the dependability and quality of a Dyson, but mostly because Santos made the purchase effortless and assisted us in everyway possible to make spending a chunk of money a little less painless. I hope Dyson knows what a great representative they have for their product. For anyone thinking about getting a Dyson, I highly recommend you visit this service center and ask for Santos. I rarely write any Yelp! reviews, and more often than not it's too complain. But this is one time I have write a review about great service and a great product! I talked my wife into letting me buy a Dyson vacuum cleaner despite their price because they had such great reviews. Unfortunately we are murder on our vacuum cleaners. We have three dogs who shed a lot. Our Dyson Ball Animal 2 was a couple of years old but it has held up well until the main handle broke off from the body. So I packed it up and drove 30 miles to the Dyson service center. The guy look one look and told me he could fix it in about 20 minutes even though the main body was broken in two. But 20 minutes later (I'm not entirely sure since I dozed off) he brought it out good as new. When I asked him what the damage was he said no charge. When I said it was a couple of years old he said it had a 5-year warranty and that model wasn't five years old so it was definitely still under warranty. I am really impressed and a customer for life. read more

I gotta say, this brand and specific service center has never let me down. I own 6 various models of Dyson vaccums so my brand loyalty is there in terms of performance. But it wouldn't be the same with out this service centers outstanding performance in repairs, parts and replacement. They were a lot more convenient at their previous location for me but the service remains the same. Today I walked in with one of my Dyson Animal vaccums that I purchased about 3 years ago from a retailer. I had no paper work and I forgot to register the item. The motor had basically burned up(never had anything like that happen in 15yrs. of owning them) and I walked in and explained to Santos what was happening. He immediately offered me a replacement vaccum right there on the spot, no questions about receipts or it not being registered and I walked out. All in less than 10min. My four year old vacuum cleaner was in desperate need of repairs. It had never been serviced and was losing suction, not to mention, needed some serious "overhaul" cleaning. I have three dogs and clean my house three times a week. With all the hair, dust, and other particles that they attract onto my floors, I was needing my vacuum cleaner fixed. I found these guys through google. I went to the store and found it to be clean and their showroom had Dyson products for you to view and try out. Santos took care of me and also offered to show me how some of the other vacuums that were on display worked. He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and professional. When my vacuum was ready to be picked up, I received an email alert which was very convenient and also a phone call from Santos letting me know it was ready. Glenn at Dyson Service Center solved the issue with my upright. Great service; polite, fast and trustworthy. I arrived early on Saturday morning. Glenn promptly asked what the issue was and straight away started taking apart the vacuum whilst I was filling in the form. In fact I think he may have found the blockage and cleaned the filters before I had finished. He also replaced the balls as they had some damage, without being asked. All of this was free and took less than 15 minutes. I'd also like to point out he took the time to explain the issues and how I can attempt to solve them in future. I have no hesitation in recommending Dyson service centre. It puts you at ease when your belonging (be it an electronic device, household item or whatever)is being serviced by someone knowledgeable, and fills you with confidence when they explain what they are doing, why and how. Sometimes with customer service, you meet an angel. I am SO thankful for SANTOS, who was an angel at Dyson for me today! I thought I'd broken my friend's vacuum while house-sitting, and after talking to the helpful agent at the Dyson call center, I was advised to take it to a service center. The piece that had broken off (that I wasn't able to find, on her V6 Animal model) just so happened to be where the serial number was on. I had no way to check if the vacuum was still under warranty and I was terrified by the possible expense of fixing it. But I'd broken it, so I went to the repair center prepared for the worst. I had no need to worry because after asking me a few questions, Santos took the vacuum and, to my shock, he fixed it in minutes and wished me a good day. I couldn't believe it! Absolutely floored by my first experience with the Dyson Service Center! My 12 year old Dyson was nearing it's end when my puppy chewed the cord and ended it. I bought a new one directly from Dyson, 5 weeks later, puppy did it again. I was not prepared for a hefty repair so soon. (I'll coat the next cord with Tabasco!) Santos greeted me at the door, he was assisting another customer but made me feel very welcome- kind of the 'let me take a load off ya' kind of service technician. It was so refreshing!! He took my vacuum to check the serial number. I made a quick pit stop in their very clean bathroom and marveled at the Dyson handblower, wasn't in there 2 minutes when I come out expecting to get a service ticket telling me when it would be repaired. Santos said, "It's done!" What???? He had repaired it in under 3 minutes, no kidding!! If Dyson knows what they are doing- they need to give Santos a big raise! He was amazing!!! read more

Bought a Dyson C41 Animal in 2012.This Jan, 2015, it wouldn't lock into standing position which besides being awkward made the use of the attachment wand impossible. Contacted Dyson online; they gave me this service center's address and number and opened a work order. I took it in on a Friday; got a call on Monday - it was ready. When I picked it up, it was fixed and Santos showed me how to clean all filters...even had cut the carpet strings that had wound around the brush. He was very helpful, very knowledgeable about the products, and carried it to the car for me. I asked about some of the other models for cleaning stairs which means he could have sold me another unit; however, I had been using the wrong attachment..so he showed me how my present DC41 would work just fine. Mother's Day Saved!! I had purchased the Dyson Airwrap from the Dyson website for my wife with a delivery date set for the Thursday before Mother's Day; all things were perfect. I then received a delivery date change for Friday, then another for Saturday - okay, we're still good to go. Friday morning at 3AM I got a message that delivery was delayed to the Wednesday after Mother's Day. Dyson customer support was no help and I was stuck. I called the Dyson Service Center and spoke to Santos where he confirmed they had a unit in stock. Making my way over to their shop, Santos was able to transfer my online purchase to a unit he had available and send me on my way with product in hand. The wife was ecstatic!! Thank you for taking the time to find a solution to my issue and your commitment to customer satisfaction. I took my Dyson canister vacuum cleaner for repair. I was expecting that it was going to take a couple of days to get it repaired; plus I was also expecting to incur a repair expense since I bought the machine three years ago as a gift for my wife. Much to my surprise, the parts were available at the store, and the machine was repaired in less than 10 minutes while I waited. This was very important to me because it saved me another trip back to the store, considering that I live approximately 50 miles north of Houston. The service person, Mr. Santos Benavides, was very polite,efficient and effective in the performance of his job. To top all these good news, the repair was free because my vacuum cleaner was still under the manufacture's warranty. Fabian took the time to offer me a mini class on how to disassemble various parts of my Dyson for cleaning and minor repair. Fabian also offered valuable tips to help me to get the best performance possible from my Dyson. This time that Fabian took (which he did not have to), really impressed me and let me know that he really does have the the Customer and the Company's Best interest in mind.
