I popped on Yelped, searched appliance repair, and it was very obvious that I should reach out to KrisKelly first, based on the great reviews. I submitted a request-a-quote on Yelp on a Sunday afternoon, and heard back Monday morning. By Thursday, there was someone at my house and my dryer was fixed within about half an hour. The service guy even gave me some great tips on maintaining my washer, dryer and other appliances for the future. It sucks to need an appliance repaired, but when you can get the problem resolved as quickly and as pain free as possible, it's such a relief. That's exactly what happened here. I needed a new dryer converted from Natural Gas to Propane and when I saw the glowing reviews for KrisKelly, I requested a quote. This team (Kris & Kelly) communicated by text or email and were extremely personable and wanted to share their appliance knowledge. KrisKelly even suggested I call them back before my next appliance purchase so they can get me suggestions. On Saturday, they arrived on time and the conversion was complete in 20 minutes! We called Kris to fix our dryer after a bad experience with someone else. That person didn't show up - or even call on the day he was supposed to be there. Then after coming to our house three times, the dryer was still not working. After paying someone to not fix our appliance, I was leery of calling someone new. Two gentlemen showed up on time (one minute early actually), fixed my issue, checked to make sure that the dryer was working, and gave us a one year warranty. He told me about the cost of the repairs and suggested I put the money towards a new washer. He gave me brand recommendation, and suggested a local store for me to shop at. I was advised over the phone after explaining my issue that most likely I would need a new washer, I did however have them come out to look, and they were correct. At the time they serviced my dryer too. He was very friendly, on time, which is important, and knowledgeable regarding what I should and should not purchase in my future machine, without trying to sell a product to me. I had issues with my 12-year-old dishwasher and they got back to me immediately during the COVID period. I had done a quick self-diagnosis and was able to communicate with them. They came to fix my dryer that was not heating, charging my $200 to replace the operating thermostat. Before the day was over the dryer stopped heating again.....Kelly came back that day, worked on it and said he got it fixed this time but a week later, no heat. When I reached out it would be 4 days before they could come back. I decided to contact someone else and they were able to come the next morning. I definitely recommend KrisKelly. They communicated quickly with the initial contact, answering my questions, came out quickly. We had problems with getting our dishwasher fixed, and Kelly was able to figure out that it was a short in the wiring frying our control panel (including the new one he just put in). He reimbursed us the money we paid for the control panel and completely supported our decision to purchase a new washer vs spending more money on rewiring the whole dishwasher.
