Only one star because negative stars was not an option. I wish I would have checked reviews prior to renting drum sander and edger. They took $650 deposit. I used the edger once and tried to get the bolt out to change the paper but could not get it out. I brought the machine back to the store where the tool guy in the back banged out the bolt with a hammer and screwdriver. He asked the other employee "who put this bolt in there?" Apparently the wrong bolt was in the machine and after he beat it out with a hammer and screwdriver they told me i bent the shaft!!!! $231 repair cost!! Luckily I am a born again Christian and know that God will handle this situation accordingly. But for anyone else thinking about renting tools from this place .... I rented from these guys twice. One time a drum was nicked on the sander.. could have happened from going in and out of their non sander drum friendly doorway. Long story short.... this place is a scam. They asked me to replace the drum, I tried twice, they refused the drums I kindly bought at $400 each and threatened to charge me $1400. My credit card company sided with me when I challenged their BS. Do the same if they try to rip you off. Stop payment on your card immediately if they do this to you. These guys are full of it. Beware of this place! Their equipment rental prices are low but they figured out another way to make money. When we brought the floor sanding machine back, they told us the drum is damaged and they would charge us $650 for it. My husband used this type of equipment many times in the past from other vendors and never had any issues. He was very careful using the machine and with only a small room to sand, it was in use for no longer than 2-3 hours. The machine works just fine and we are fighting this charge but my advice is to stay away from this place as they are dishonest and just trying to scam you out of money. read more

Horrible Horrible Horrible. {ADDRESS IS 1059 BY THE WAY NOT 1051} I get out the store at 5pm with a 24hour vibrator floor sander rental and the smaller handheld one for the corners, although my ticket stated rental started at 4:30pm. I go straight home and sand for 2 and a half hours in one room. Woke up at 9am and continued sanding, by 11am, the vibrator floor sander handle is in my hand but no longer attached to the machine which almost caused me to lose control of the machine. I call immediately not wanting to lose time on my rental. I was first told that I unfortunately, since it was damaged outside the store deemed me to be liable. Although he didnt yet hear how it happened or seen it. After getting upset, i was then told to come down right away and there they would determine who's responsible. I go there with floor sand on my clothes rushing out. When I arrive, the man in the back who shows you how to use the machine knew the previous day I wanted stain and high gloss. We spent an additional half hour picking out the color and the gloss since he also suggested I buy rags and another sponge to put down the high gloss. That man now told me to speak with the chunky dark skinned guy that I dealt with on the phone and my transaction from the previous day. He then told me, I have bad news, we will be charging you $200 for a damaged handle that the man in the back said was a 20 year old machine mind you. I told them am I super woman to be able to rip and break a metal handle right out of the machine. I told them that handle broke because of rust in the interior from 20 years of being used on a hundred pound machine. I told him if he can give me a scenario on how I could of broke that with no damages or scratches to anything else that was conflicted while in my possession, that I would pay for it, he stood absolutely quiet. I was then told to speak to the Russian owner who was a complete A-hole, started yelling at me not to tell at him. I told him I'm yelling because I'm mad with perfectly good reason. He told me out of all the time they have been in business this is the first time it came back with the handle broken. I told them how do you have a machine and throughout 20 year of time never replace any parts, of course it was due for its wreckage. Anyone who would have rented this, it would have happened just the same. All I literally did was use the machine which was the purpose of me renting and paying. Moral of the story they were going to charge me regardless, although I was about to spend a lot of money on more products. I told then you're not the only place around and now I'm not buying anything else or ever coming back. You guys are going to love this part. I payed with a check (best thing I could have ever did), as soon as I left I went straight to my bank to cancel and put a block on the check. Now they lost out on the entire rental and supplies I used. Think I'm giving them one cent after how they tried to con me? I took pictures to show my bank which they said was great to have done. Mind you only one of two rooms was actually completed, my big foyer area, hall that leads to the room and living room was not completed unfortunately and will need to rent again but definitely won't be back there. Another moral of the story, always try to pay by check because as long as it's not cashed unlike a debit card that is processed immediately, this can save a lot of headaches. By the way, I kept my promise to you people in the store and am not paying just as I said and here is your negative review I promised you guys. Thanx a lot scheming assholes. read more

I tried to explain him that this box ($250.00) is unopened and from the store's stock. He said NO RETURNS! We have purchased hardwood there and both sale representatives are very knowledgeable about the products that they carry... Yury's advise was great, made sense for first time buyers, like us, and worked out perfectly. Yes, the store gets really busy.... lots of contractors go in and out, so it gets tricky if you come in for the first time to choose a product. Also, there are NO returns (even for unopened boxes)... worked out for us, since we needed to purchase more, but I can see how it can become frustrating if miscalculating the needed amount.
