I happened to be in town and the owner of this place actually got back to me around Christmas, even though it was short notice. Most other places were closed/didn't respond. He let me leave my car in the parking lot for the rest of that weekend, got back to it at the start of the week, it was a relatively simple job so it was done that day. I've put probably 3,000 miles on since without any issues with the belt or pulley so I'd say it was done right. Very convenient and helpful, about the price that I was expecting, too.

It was nearing…read more8:00 p.m., and we were scrambling to figure out whether we had roadside assistance, searching online for possible causes, looking for tow companies, and trying to find a hotel for the night. Then my husband called Ventura Auto Sales. To our surprise, someone answered. Ventura told us, "Give me 15 minutes." and he showed up where we were stranded. He ran some diagnostics, helped us get back to his shop and was able to get our vehicle running. It seemed to be an electrical/code overload thing? (I am not a car person). He test drove our vehicle and ran more diagnostics to ensure we were good to drive home. He didn't have to answer that call, and he certainly didn't have to go out of his way to help us the way he did. His kindness, generosity, and willingness to help a family in need went far above and beyond anything we could have expected. This is the definition of a true family-owned business. They deserve so much praise and support. Thank you, thank you, thank you for turning a stressful situation into a reminder that there are still genuinely good people in the world.
