very very poor service. One day i went to the salon the owner is not there but the other employee; she made me wait forever and was very unfriendly and rude in replying to me. I've been meaning to get around to this review- to warn others!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I originally yelped this place, with the intent of finding a reasonably priced and close location to run to for quick waxing (lip and eyebrows). I went one week ago, thinking that I would just get my lip done and check out the place. I entered and there were two ladies there. One sitting on one chair at the nail station and one reclining on the pedi chair- no biggie- I'd probably be chillin' if there were no customers as well! The place was completely empty besides the two workers. She greated me, and was very pleasant. She showed me to the little back room and showed me where to lay down. This is where it gets scary.................. I noticed a huge clump of black hair on the head rest of where I was supposed to lay down. I was totally grossed out at that point, but unfortunately- I didn't want to make a scene so I proceeded to let her know that I needed my upper lip waxed. She was a very nice lady and completed the job- with no extreme pain. She finally talked me into waxing my eyebrows ($12), which I failed to mention earlier- I had grown out for five months!!!!!!!! Growing out eyebrows is a long process that requires much patience, hence me being reluctant. After her many attempts to talk me into it, I gave in. She promised I would love them and after her telling me exactly what she was going to do.............it sounded promising! She waxed one, and showed me............looks good so far! Then she waxed the other and showed me..............BIG PROBLEM!!!!!!!! My left eyebrow was short and highly arched- it started from just INSIDE my eyelid. The right eyebrow was nicely arched, pretty thin and start just OUTSIDE my eyelid. If you need your lip waxed, this is the place to go for $5.00- DO NOT GET YOUR EYEBROWS DONE HERE!!!!! They deserve no stars! Cathy the owner is just awful. She is so dishonest, rude and doesn't care about salon standards. I used to go and get my eyelash extensions and my nails done. Her staff is not probably trained, I was cut multiple times during my manicure and pedicure. Cathy wouldn't even discount the price of the manicure and pedicure even though my hand would be bleeding! She was not honest about her prices. She doesn't tell you the prices until you're done with the service. On her sign it said clearly that hair cuts were $8, I thought that's fair. So I sent my husband to her salon to get his haircut. He also took our son to get his haircut too. (First let me tell you the hair cut they got was crooked. It looked awful) But then to ad insult to injury, she charged them $15 each. I was shocked. For a men's and children's haircut?! I came in to get eyelash extensions. At first Cathy told me that she charges $130 for full set and that refills are $50.Ok that sounds reasonable. So, I paid $130, but when I came in for a refill, I was expecting to pay $50, but tells she me it's $130 and I was totally shocked. I told her that it was "just a refill" and then she changed her tune and charge me $80. I felt taken advantage of. Everytime I came in, there was different price?! I would always leave very dissatisfied. Then one day Cathy told me there is a "new price of $150". I couldn't take it anymore, so I decided to talk to about her dishonesty on pricing. I asked her if she could lower her price since I'm a good customer and I've come in multiple times and brought my husband and son. But instead of trying to accommodate me, she yelled at me and cursed me out and I'm the customer?! Not anymore!! I would never go back if my life depended on it. Worse experience ever! This place should never be visited to for nails. I was completely unhappy with the way they were cutting my nails and so I told them. After I had told them they came to tell me that it's because one of my nails is thicker than the other nail that my nail size could not be equal. After I made my mom come in to plead our argument, they continued to argue with us. They even started to talk about us and point at us right there in front of our faces! This disrespect goes much farther as i am sitting in the car as my friend finishes they start retalking about us after me calling them out about it. They were talking crap right to my friend.. so so so disappointed to be so disrespected. Never again. read more

Today was my first time here. I went there coz I got a coupon in my mail. It had like $7.99 haircut, $25 manicure/pedicure, $20 for color, etc... Seemed cheap. So I decided to go and check it out. Well.. I was skeptical in the begining. But I got to admit, the place was clean, and the staff was totally cool. And they listen to you patiently. They cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it done and now it looks exactly the way I wanted it to look. Yay! read more

I came here for a mani-pedi due to the high reviews people had posted but I was beyond disappointed with my visit to this salon. Staff is friendly but when it came to their work the tools did not look like they were cleaned between clients and they have you walk barefoot on their dirty floor from one station to another.... . During my pedicure the lady cut my nails very choppy and kinda cleaned my cuticles, after that she directly proceeded to put the polish on.. she didn't use a scrub or soap nor did she file/exfoliate my heels.Once my pedi was "finished" she had me move to another station to do my nails which were poorly cut and she got very annoyed when I asked her to clean a tool that still had someone else's cuticles that she was going to use on me for my mani.... that was really gross.. please save your money and try a different salon as they are more likely to do a better job! I am literally soaking my feet in some warm water with alcohol and I am going to have to re-do my pedi... total waste of money.. read more

My name is Christina Jordan. I have been friends with Kathy, the owner of Dynamic Salons for approximately 3 years. Last Thursday, I went in to get my nails and feet and my eye blows waxed. Two days later, I got a staph infection on my right pinky. Saturday,the 23th, I went to Valley Medical,the doctor informed that I had a staph infection for the fake nails the Kathy put on my fingers. He said that the drills and just the salon it's self wasn't sanitary. Kathy couldn't of possibly disfected her establishment or the drills or even the attachments properly, So when I left the Valley medical and went to inform Kathy. She immediately got defensive and said it couldn't of been her fault, she basically didn't believe me. Mind you I had the documents and the bandaged finger to prove it but she insisted seeing my finger after the doctor insisted I leave the bandage on because it was gonna grossly drain. So I processed to show her the finger, she said she wanted to talk to the doctor I saw, as if she still didn't believe me, I explained to her I had to call in to work because I had to goto the doctor and plus I spend approximately $200 to $250.00 just on the emergency visit plus the prescription and tentunus shot. She insisted to speak to doctor and she would call me but Now i have another staph infection in my index finger. Kathy and I were friends for a long time. I wouldn't go any where else. I was very loyal and told my friends how good of job she did and how fair she was, But now I wouldn't send my worst enemy to her shop. I came to her as a loyal, concerned friend because i don't want this to happen to anyone else and to suggested she cleans her nail tools better. She was so uncooperative and basically very rude. She wouldn't even offer the moneys I spent to cover any damages or pain I had. I mean why would I make up such a thing.The evidence was obvious. She still hasn't called to see if I'm okay or if I need anything. I mean isn't that what friends do. So if you want your nails,hair or even a wax please take my advise go somewhere else.
