We had and amazing day in Napa with Dynamic Napa Wine Tours. From the reservations to the end of the tour, the customer service and attention to detail was phenomenal! I highly recommend. We received a call from our tour guide, Jim, the day before our tour and he explained everything about our tour and while on the ferry over from San Fran, I received a text from him letting me know he was waiting for us at the ferry docks. The champagne, the immaculate Mercedes sprinter van and the service was great. He took us to 5 wineries and all were wonderful. The lunch he had for us was fabulous with a great location. This was our first trip to Napa and I'm so glade we used dynamic wine tour to show us around. We paid for a group tour but because of the fires (not close) the other parties cancelled. What an amazing day we had thanks to Jim at Dynamic! We booked based on yelp reviews- which did not disappoint. Jim called us the day before to confirm our reservation, and arrived right on time. The sprinter van is beautiful and clean inside and out, and we were greeted with champagne. Jim picked out 4 stunning wineries with beautiful scenery and shared much of his own knowledge with our group. I was impressed by how much he knew about wine (we are newbies) and appreciated his willingness to answer any questions. He had us laughing much of the day, and kept us on schedule. My husband and I were staying in San Fransisco and wanted to pop over to Napa for the day. We found Dynamic Napa Wine Tours online and decided to give it a try. I am so happy we did. One of the things that appealed to us was that the tour was billed as a semi private tour. The tour bus maximum was 10. Really it wasn't a bus, but a large limo bus. On this particular outing there was just four of us. It was perfect! We toured 4 vineyards: Hagafen Cellars, Rutherford Ranch, Inglenook and Laird Family Winery. Each vineyard was so different from each other, but all were absolutely wonderful. Our tour guide Mark was outstanding! He was knowledgeable, friendly, professional. He customized our tour to our likes. I can not recommend him enough! Each vineyard had different tastings to choose from, so even though we were a small party, we were all able to select the tasting to our personal preferences (red, whites or mixed). Everything was first class. The touring limo had the exterior look of an elite tour bus and interior look and feel of a limousine complete with champagne, water, soda. Mark, our driver, made sure everything was top notch. Our picnic lunch was set up outside on the grounds of our second stop. So when we finished our tasting, we headed out for a fabulous catered lunch. Our only glitch with the tour was with the confirmation service Viator. We felt the directions in the actually confirmation email were a little to ambiguous and needed clarification. We actually took an earlier ferry than we needed to, and had to kill some time in Vallejo. With this said, it did not take anything away from our experience on the tour! What inexcusably ruined our experience is the following: At the time of booking, I requested a pickup location of Calistoga... only 30 minutes from where I was staying with family in Santa Rosa. I was told no, that there was no availability for a pick up there and instead, we had to drive an hour south to Napa. So we drove an hour south, got picked up only to drive an hour north and make not one, but 2 pickups, one midway and one in Calistoga. So 2 hours of our time driving that I could have spent visiting family we only had 2 days here to see. Then our tour ran late, we finished in Calistoga at 5:30, only 30 minutes from Santa Rosa but were now forced to stay in the bus for an hour ride south to our vehicle only to drive back up an hour north to Santa Rosa. We only had 2 days to explore the area and visit with family. I deeply resent 4 hours were unnecessarily spent backtracking when after I was told no... we not only picked up passengers in Calistoga... all 4 wineries we visited were in Calistoga! But we were forced to burn 4 hours out of our day driving to Napa and missing valuable time with family we rarely see. It pretty much ruined our experience. I would NOT recommend them. read more

Our driver/hostess Amy was fantastic. What a kind, sweet, and gracious woman. 3 friends and I did a tour on 3/28 with a couple on their honeymoon. We were a somewhat "lively" bunch and Amy rolled out the red carpet all the way. From champagne upon boarding, to allowing us to DJ our own playlists, she was a class act. My only critique (which Amy had no control over) was the selection of wineries we visited. The first one we visited was very snooty and pretentious (Black Stallion) and we will certainly not revisit there. The woman who greeted our party was cold and unwelcoming. The sommelier (Jamie) was nice, however. Black Stallion was just a very boring, sterile visit for us. Benessere was a great choice, as our hostess (Barbara) was a sweetheart and was warm, welcoming, and gave us exceptional service and history of their winery. We also visited Rutherford farm where we had a great wine/chocolate tasting/pairing and our host was great. All in all, we had a great time and would definitely do this tour again, provided we could bypass Black Stallion for another more interesting, hospitable location. read more

I booked the day before, and I had excellent customer service from the reservation line and throughout the tour. We visited 4 wineries in the Calistoga area, 3 of which I LOVED!! We loved Dynamic wine tours!!!!! We had a group of 6 for a 10 seat tour but lucked out and had the whole bus to ourselves. It was lovely and clean and our driver James was knowledgeable yet fun. He was on it. The catered lunch was way more than expected- yum! The 4 wineries were perfect (5 would've been too much). We provided our likes and dislikes and James came up with a good combination of wineries that made us all pretty happy. Champagne and water were in the bus. My husband and I had a great time enjoying Calistogia wineries with Dynamic. The group was recommended by our hotel. I was searching high and low to find a reasonable cost option for wine touring- private cars were too pricey for just the two of us! Dynamic offered a small group tour of 10 people max. The tour is guaranteed to run, regardless number of clients. Our experienced resulted in just myself and husband on the tour. However, I believe the experience would have been equally enjoyable with a mix of people. We toured 4 wineries and had a picnic lunch included for $125 per person. They pick you up at your hotel or established pick up location. Our driver, Jim, was friendly, knowledgeable and provided great service. He took us to a mix of well traveled wineries and local off the beaten track spots. Each stop felt like a personal experience. My husband is huge into photography and had plenty of time to explore the wineries and capture great shots. When there was an option to decided next stops, Jim provided us with some background for our options and we made choices accordingly. Had a great day with a group of strangers that became friends. The wineries were nice and having water and a sparkling wine on the bus was a nice treat. My two concerns that kept it from being a 5 is that I was told when I booked the trip I would receive a call a day ahead and have input into the winery choices. This didn't happen. The other concern is that we had 7 people on our bus that is supposed to seat ten. It would have been overcrowded and extremely uncomfortable if there were more people on the bus. read more

What a fantastic way to visit the wineries in Napa. Mark Lavezzo picked up our group in the luxurious touring bus complete with complimentary champagne, water and soft drinks. We got into out of the way wineries with limited, reservation only tastings. Everything was already reserved and they made sure to roll out the red carpet when they saw Mark and our group pull up to the doors. It was so nice to sit back and relax and enjoy our group of new friends while he took care of all the details. We had a fantastic catered lunch and even got to meet and go out into the vines to taste grapes with a winery owner. Mark made sure to accommodate our requests but next time I would leave the entire tour up to him as his picks were very unique and personal experiences. My Valentine and I took our first trip to Napa together. We wanted to see as many vineyards as possible for wine tastings, and the shuttle experience made perfect sense for us. The two of us and six strangers signed up for our tour and we had a fantastic time! Our tour guide, Cyrous, personally read each person's written preferences and created a custom experience for our group. It was clear he worked very hard on accommodating everyone's needs. In particular, he asked us if anyone had evening reservations after the 4:30pm end time. Since nobody did, we were able to enjoy lounging at the final winery for an extra hour. This is a Napa trip you cannot attend for 4 reasons. The owner tells me this is the service by Beau's sister company Dynamic's public service. In fact it is also from Beau. Anyway this was the trip I went so I advise u not go. In short, a poor service that takes you to get unknown wineries with high tasting fees to pay ($125+35+25+... tasting fees). You can get a Calistoga wines Passport bit.ly/2jtNxUC from Dec - Feb 5 2017 for 15 must-go wineries & vineyards ($50 in total, the castle level ones). What happened? It takes us to "boutique" ones---actually the ones no one comes, a business model (probably collaborate w wineries) works for profits than for customer experience. I googled Castello di amorosa (a castle worth 105 minutes tour, but I did not have enough time as the group needed to go back early) is a must-to-go, but the driver told me it was on another trip. I do not have time to come to Napa again. I took a Uber to the castle and the driver said he would call or text me where they go next before heading back to Vallejo. He did not call but told me he texted (I did not receive any messages until I called him later). I called him and he told me to arrive in 20 minutes in the rain (the driving distance is 20 minutes and the driver knows locally). It was hard and pricey to find a Uber that day. When I was on Uber to be back, he said the team wanted to leave so they left. I took a Uber and bus for over 2.5 hours to get back. I did not get my service included in the $125, the limousine ride to your place. Why not go? 1) Poor customer service I called the company, the assistant/manager was rude and rang off my call. She said when I left the group, the driver was not responsible. No refund (or partly)/drive me back. According to American law system, the driver and I made an oral agreement on picking up, but he did not do what he promised, it was a fraud. 2) Overpriced cheap sandwiches and potatoes as lunch (I would rather buy a $4 from groceries). The total cost will be $200+ (125 +35 +25 +...) to just ok wineries for first-time visitors. The passport take you to 14 best ones (world-class /award-winners/unique) with $50 + driving cost ($10?) + your lunch 3) Cannot choose your wineries The driver chooses the wineries according to individual customer needs without updating with you in advance (in fact just for their profits). Although the group wants to see boutique ones, most first time visitors may prefer to see the landmarks and award-winners. 4) Low-quality audio guide During the 3rd time wine tasting, the group chatted about Tinder dates after drinking. Maybe it was because the wine hostess only poured wine and said several paragraphs about wine people had nothing to chat for fun. I did not learn things about wine. In contrast, My 3 hour NYC circle line city trip was $23 with 3 hour New Yorker guide. Finally, if you have a car, it is better to go with the Passport for fun. read more

Liked it almost all the way, but figured I'd just get a LITTLE bit more for the money, like a free wine tasting or two,but at each winery, you have to buy your own tasting. A great experience! My wife and I - presently Florida residents - are frequent wine-country visitors, throughout the USA but most frequently in California. We visit San Francisco twice each year, and have made several extended driving trips throughout America. Normally, I drive, but that of course limits my ability to enjoy the wines. Thus, for this trip, we found Dynamic, a small-group division of the Beau Tours organization. We are grateful and happy we did! As promised, we were met on time at the Vallejo ferry terminal by our driver and tour guide, Cyrus, and their virtually new, beautifully appointed Mercedes Sprinter van. The vehicle was quite comfortable and provided un-crowded seating which was further enhanced by the presence of two chilled bottles of excellent sparking wine served by Cyrus in crystal clear champagne glasses. We, along with the 8 other eager tourers, enjoyed the wine and rapidly became acquainted, as we sped to our first winery in Napa. As part of the tour-booking process, Dynamic asks for its guests' wine preferences - whites, reds, sparkling, etc, and types preferred - Cab's, Syrah's, Merlot's etc. Thus they tailor their small group outings to as nearly match the guests' desires as possible. Consequently, we first visited Judd's Hill winery, and enjoyed their excellent wines in a very nice setting and tasting area. It was relaxed and most enjoyable, made even better by the friendliness and knowledge of our pourers. A far cry from the commercialism of the larger wineries. Following the generous tasting at Judd's Hill, we traveled to Rutherford Ranch, a boutique winery on the Silverado Trail, where we enjoyed their superb Estate Cabernet among other wines. As we planned to host friends the next day, we purchased several bottles, knowing that they would appreciate this excellent wine. Cyrus served us a pre-prepared lunch at Rutherford Ranch, which we ate in their very pleasant patio. The winery graciously provided extra wine for our enjoyment! The third stop was originally planned for the famous Chalk Hill winery, but instead, at the request of one of our group, we went to Swanson, as she knew the owners who reside in Florida. In my personal opinion, the wines and our hostess left something to be desired, especially considering the steep tasting fee of $40. To be certain, the wines were not distasteful, but not of the quality we were led to expect. The final stop was a most relaxed visit to the Andretti Winery, owned, of course, by the famous racing driver Mario Andretti. Simply a beautiful place in a gorgeous setting, the wines were equally good and enjoyed by all. The tasting fee was more moderate, and they even permitted me to 'trade' two of the scheduled wines for an ample serving of their reserve Cabernet Sauvignon - just superior, in my opinion. At $95, it is too dear for my pocketbook, but was a privilege to try. We spent a good deal of time at Andretti, and Cyrus had to hustle because of weekday traffic to get us back to the ferry terminal with but 5 minutes to spare for the last ferry! It was considerably louder in the van on the trip back than on our first foray in the AM, but certainly evidence of the satisfaction of the entire group. We were there with one other couple, so it was very intimate and customized. First off it was supposed to be an all day tour and go from 9:30 am until 5 pm. And we were done by 2:30. We unfortunately felt rushed through the whole morning and then because the driver thought he had to keep ya until 5 he made us stay really long at the last two winieries. We had to go find him so that we could leave early as people in our group were falling asleep on the couch at the winery. The first two winieries were quaint, beautiful snd were run by very personable people however the third winery we went to was horrible. Some modern place where the guy told us we couldn't split a tasting and if we wanted the tour had to pay a set fee per person no matter what. Noticed they reused their barrels for several years, well over 5, which I know you are never supposed to do. The guy talked and talked non stop mainly about nothing on the tour, gave me a headache. The last winery was ok. The only good thing about it was we got to have our wine tasting with a chocolate tasting too which was fun. The chocolate was way better than the wine which we were able to purchase. Overall it was ok but was expecting more. The lunch was just ok sandwiches and potato and garbanzo bean salad, nothing fancy nor overly delicious nor exciting! read more

We did NOT enjoy our tour. You did NOT meet our expectations and yes, there are some things you could do to improve. To start, after completing the rather extensive online questionnaire, the driver (Mar) apparently did not read it at all. We (and when I say we, there was a group of six of us) had asked to see a wine cave, to see Robert Mondavi winery and NOT to see Castello de Amarosa. When I spoke to her the night before, she had said we would discuss in the morning what we wanted do on the tour. After picking up the last two customers (which made a total of ten in the group which is to many for the back of that van; seating was adequate but not enough leg room for ten people), she did not discuss what people wanted to do, she just announced what the group was going to do with no input from the customers. We were going to Castello de Amarosa, not to Robert Mondavi, and no wine cave. After confronting her with the fact she didn't ask for our input and obviously did not read our online questionnaire, she became quite snippety and rudely said, "fine, we'll do what you want." The entire rest of the tour was rather unpleasant. During the drive to the first winery, she attempted to give us information about the area and sights. Unfortunately, those in the back of the van could not hear her. When we told her that, she just stopped talking and was quiet the rest of the tour giving no information at all. Which leads to my next point. The driver needs a microphone connected to the vehicle speakers so she can be heard by all. The air conditioner in the vehicle barely worked. It was running at 60 degrees fan on high the whole day and never really cooled the vehicle. It was either hot or at best, warm and stuffy the whole day. At the end of the day, the driver rudely said, "I suggest you take a private tour next time and that we had inconvenienced the others on the tour." I know that the five others in my group weren't inconvenienced and that the two other couples didn't care where we went and stated no complaints whatsoever. After that, I said I had a few suggestions myself but she once again rudely said, "I don't have time to listen to you and left, stating also that I was just an angry individual." To summarize, three complaints. Poor driver experience, need a microphone in vehicle, air conditioner in that vehicle needs work. I would not recommend this company for a wine tour, when there are so many others available. read more

Some wineries waved the fee with bottle purchase and some didn't. We had a great time! The three of us were first-time Napa visitors and we were taken to some great spots. Fernando was a great driver and set up a wonderful lunch for us. We loved the smaller, more intimate and rustic wineries so it was a little disappointing to hit 'Disney winery' as we called it, the larger, castle vineyard. It was beautiful but a little too 'corporate' and full of kids. That said, the luxury bus was comfy and stocked with water and sparkling wine - maybe snacks would be good since you're downing wine all day! It turned out that no one else booked, so they gave us a private tour. We were lucky, but the fact that they would accommodate us at the last minute is a testament to the great client services that they provide. Leif, our tour guide, made it especially nice by tailoring the tour to our preferences - he focused on small, boutique and family-owned wineries that he knew would give us a great experience. The limo van was amazing - well appointed and stocked with refreshments and champagne. Leif was also very knowledgeable on the local wineries, the history of Napa Valley, and the specific geographical characteristics that influence the type and quality of wine produced in the area. We had an hour and a half drive to get there. We arrive around 8:45 with the intent to have some breakfast, we weren't at our pick up location more than 5 minutes when they tried to change our pick up time till 9. Although we had visited Napa Valley before, we had not taken a guided wine tour. My hope was that we would see some interesting, off-the-beaten-path wineries. Our driver, Eran, exceeded our expectations. He took us to four wineries, ranging from the swanky and built to impress to a very low overhead operation.
