    Incredible view from Amizetta
    Alexander C.

From the moment I started chatting with T and Paul, I knew that this was going to be something special. So many details (winery planning, transportation, etc) that I didn't even have to worry about it, T and her team worked everything out for us and rolled it into one amazing day. We started our tour with T performing a sabrage followed up with a champagne toast. I mean come on, how amazing is this?! Ive only seen this done on tv but to see it in person, a whole new level of experience. From there we headed to Carneros to enjoy pinot noir at Donum Winery followed by Saintsbury. I can't begin to tell you how amazing the wines were but also the knowledge and hospitality by each of our hosts. While the tour was going on, our host and driver, the super friendly and knowledgeable Jason, was busy taking photos with his DSLR so we didn't have to worry about missing a moment. Inside the Mercedes limo van was super posh, leather seats, lighting, water, snacks, etc. I mean, it doesn't get much more comfortable than this. A few places were suggested for lunch, but remember this is a custom curated tour. So we made the choice to visit Addendum for their famous AdHoc fried chicken. This also allowed us leisure time to enjoy the beautiful rainy day under the pines at the picnic area at Addendum. Feasting on some of the best fried chicken under the trees was so romantic. Finally our last stop was Amizetta to enjoy their famous cabs. What a way to end the day, the view from on top of the mountain was one of the best Ive seen in the valley. We also had the pleasure to enjoy our tasting in their mountain side cave. See the progression of our day of tasting. We started out with lighter to medium pinots then ending with some huge cabs. This is one of the many reasons why Verve is one of the best tour companies in wine country, they really do think of every aspect of the day. I can't thank Verve enough for showing us a side of Napa we had yet to experience. This day was truly magical.

Second time around for me but first for my daughter. We chose Verve to celebrate her 40th birthday. Rob and Michael were incredible hosts and the itinerary that was chosen for us was remarkable. Every vineyard was unique and different and represented beautifully! We even cooked with John Ash at the CIA. What a fabulous time we had. If you are looking for an incredible experience from beginning to end, look no more. T and Rob will see to making it happen.

Our Verve wine tour was absolutely exceptional. Each winery was fantastic and our guide Rob added such a wealth of knowledge and kindness to compliment the day. The owner, T Beller, started us off with a champagne send off that was a blast. 4 wineries with their own environment, culture, and great wine. It really gave us a fantastic understanding of Napa, the culture of their wineries, and the wine in the area. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Our group traveled from Louisiana to San Francisco where we explored the city, had a wonderful tour and found some great restaurants before traveling via a very comfortable "limo coach" complete with cold drinks and snacks before we arrived at Reyes Point Dairy. There we got to Reyes Point Dairy, a bay calf had just been born as we got to see the working areas. We had a wonderful Spread of their cheeses with wine and a delicious lunch. We traveled on the the Archer Hotel in Napa which she was lovely, comfortable and served great breakfasts. Our tours of small vineyards with wonderful, cheese, lunches and dinner was an absolutely great experience. Verve of Napa valley with T and her crew, Paul, our driver, Rob, who welcomed us and kept everything taken care of leading up to the trip were so gracious! Everyone we met were incredibly welcoming and kind. We had a wonderful trip! To have everything taken care and to be able to visit vineyards we other wise would not have been able to was Priceless. I would book again in a heartbeat! We had incredible weather in September also

This was our 3rd trip to Wine Country that Verve had planned for us. Once for our 20th wedding anniversary, the second for a quick getaway for me, my wife and our 2 daughters and the latest for us and 9 of our closest friends, 11 in all. And for the third time in a row, we were blown away! T, Paul and Rob just make everything so easy, so amazing and so memorable. Don't even think you can put together a similar experience on your own that compares (believe me, I've tried). T has personal relationships with boutique and family owned wineries that you probably don't even know exist that help Verve do what they do best...provide their clients incredible VIP experiences. Here's a typical day with Verve: First, you step into T's luxurious Mercedes Sprinter that arrives at the front door of your hotel, loaded with snacks and beverages and are taken to destinations through the beautiful countryside. And, then, rather than being quickly herded along on a tasting or tour with people you don't even know, you're on an in depth tour of a family owned winery high on a hillside, meeting the patriarch of the family, tasting the wines, hearing the family's story and meeting his adult children who are working hands-on and learning the business. You follow that with a trip to another winery, immediately are introduced to the winemaker who is in the middle of sorting just picked grapes, who stops to chat and have lunch with you on her front porch overlooking her vineyard. Then a quick trip to a private garden, picking and eating figs and raspberries off the vine, sipping champagne, then sitting down on the patio learning about tasting and pairing cheeses, all hosted by a well-known author. Then finishing off the day with an after-hours, all access, in depth tour of an incredible winery followed by a candlelight dinner in their wine storage and aging cave. If you want an unforgettable trip, the best hospitality you can imagine, special tastings and bottle openings, meeting winemakers, owners and seeing and learning about things general public don't even have access to, let T and her staff at Verve put it together for you. You will be glad you did!

Hi there! I am planning 30th bday celebration for my daughter on July 24. Possible 10-18 people, 2-3 wineries, with a picnic lunch at one, at smaller vineyards that are dog friendly. Can you help me?

The rail follows alongside the highway so views were not necessarily 'outstanding' because I was on the train. I do not need to ride this train to see these views. I did not have to drive, that brings the rating up, but there are MANY ways to not drive in Napa. It was a little rickety, but acceptable. The food, 2/5 stars, substandard for the cost. Portions were small (half a piece of bacon, 1 small egg for a Benedict, etc.) and taste was middle of the road. The service/staff 4/5. Most everyone was very hospitable and did their job well. However, it did feel as if we were 'just another group'. Everything is very script and not especially personalized. For example, I'm on a wine train and no one asked my wine preference. Which brings me to the wine we tasted on the train 1/5. I expected a higher quality of tastings. In addition, offer a choice of flight, white or red or a mix of both. Or, hear me out...offer wine pairings for each course (included with my ticket, not for extra cost). Stopping at the sign and enjoying the tasting in the open car was a wonderful choice, wine selection is greatly lacking and to be honest, a great disappointment. Overall, I enjoyed my time, but this was not necessarily due to being on the Napa train specifically, it was because I was on vacation in Napa. I could see the business cutting costs in almost every aspect and that is unfair because I am paying a premium cost of approx. $100/h. And for some of that time, I'm at the winery and not even on the train. Which brings me to the end of my rating, for the stops 2.9/5. The stops felt rushed, especially our first stop. They are about an hour each, but this includes disembark and reembark times. I wanted a little more time at each winery to make a purchase or walk the grounds. I will not be recommending this particular experience, I believe many improvements can be made. Lastly, I booked this experience due to several social media content creators experience. These creators are getting their experiences paid for. Be sure to read ratings from those of us not being sponsored.

Hands Down the Best Driver in Napa Valley!…read more I discovered George on Yelp, and after comparing other Napa car services--many quoting well over $1,000 for wine tours--it's clear why his customers rave about him. His reviews truly say it all! There were plenty of reasons we chose George over the rest. From our very first contact, George was incredibly responsive and communicative. I had a party of 10 (6 adults and 4 kids) for my husband's 40th birthday celebration and needed a vehicle that could securely accommodate a car seat with a latch system--his car was absolutely perfect. He arrived right on time, greeted us warmly, and was super easy to talk to. Throughout the day, George consistently arrived within minutes at each of our destinations. He didn't just drop us off--he guided us to the exact entrances and exits of every winery, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. On top of that, he shared insightful feedback about why each winery is special, adding a whole new level of appreciation to our tour. Another bonus, he provided water in an iced cooler and white glove door service! What really stood out was George's impressive local knowledge. Without even needing navigation, he expertly drove us from Petaluma to Napa while sharing fascinating stories and history about the wineries, estates, and the region itself. If you want a professional, friendly, affordable, and knowledgeable driver for your Napa experience, George is your guy! Highly recommend and would easily book him for our next trip!

But dog friendly. Quality/Quantity - I had a hard time with the website making my appointment, it's a user issue as I am just not tech savvy. So I called and someone actually answered the phone and made my appointment for me, THANK you! We arrived 15 mins early, so we hung out in the lobby reading all the history, etc. Then Skip took us to the best view overlooking the vineyard for our tasting; see pictures! We sampled almost ALL the reds! All of which were good. See pictures. I like the fact that we did side by side tastings of many of his wines. My favorites were the 2022 Primitivo and 2021 Malbec, which we bought a few bottles of. Ambiance - Secluded private winery. Close to main Downtown Napa, but far enough away for privacy and a feeling of being far away. Appointment only, so very private and customer focused. Typically no more than 3 parties at a time. Today was considered a very busy day as there were 4 parties including us, lol. Gated private estate. 200 acres. Plenty of parking, especially since hosting only 3 guests at a time. Events - See their website. Well behaved dogs are allowed outdoors. Service - Skip is a history buff and we both talked for hours... After leaving, well really the next day (LOL), I realized that our tasting was supposed to be only 60 minutes. I guess because we got along so well, we stayed until closing! And he gave me a glass with a generous splash and let us walk the property alone after they left! So welcoming and trusting. Price - Depends on which tasting and what you buy; see their website for prices. Tastings range from $50 to $100 per person. One free designated driver allowed. Tasting fees waived with wine equivalent purchases. Hike tours $75 per person ($60 for club members). See their website for more information.
