My husband paid $2,154.00 for a one hour cleaning. The practice is run like a used car lot. A lot of double talk and and no delivery of what was promised. Total Rip Off!! Wasted $9,000 on a pin hole surgery that was not successful. There are no refunds or guarantees. Ended up going to an actual periodontist and had to pay $11,000 for a gum graft, which was very successful. Not to mention less pain and faster recovery. Plus he offered a refund if it didn't take. Stay away from dentists that have minimal training. So many red flags and problematic behavior. At first thought this seemed like a good practice and I completed my initial patient consultation. At the appt reviewing my results I was told that I would need several fillings and that one tooth would most likely need a crown, that charting had found that I had deep pockets that required deep cleanings up to 4x a year moving forward. I was aware of the fillings that needed to be done but I had never been recommended for a deep cleaning or a crown. When I experienced my concern about potentially getting my first crown I was given a referral for an endodontist that the practice recommends- Dr. Nalah and a dentist to consult for a second opinion. I thought this was a green flag & I liked Dr. Sheri so I went along Turns out it would get worse from there. While I looked into avoiding the tooth that was "highly likely" to need a crown and to schedule other fillings I knew I needed. I was not ready to do the deep cleaning, which would have cost thousands of dollars for the initial cleaning and potential hundreds more for the 3-4x/yr follow up cleanings that might be needed after. I was told under no circumstances would I be approved for further treatment until I completed a deep cleaning. At no point in my experience- not when scheduling the consultation, not during, and not in review of my results- was I ever told I would not be able to choose my treatment plan and that declining the deep cleaning would not be an option. Never have I experienced this at any dentist office, holistic or otherwise. I went to see Dr. Nalah, the recommended endontist, and 2 dentists for second opinions. Dr. Nalah looked confused why I was referred to him. This office also tried to charge $300 for a copy of the CT cone beam x rays offered during the "complementary" initial consultation. Please look up what your state dental board caps dental records at and when offices can't refuse to give them you. Because these offices will try you. His office tried to get me to sign a form agreeing to this fee. For a flash drive of images. And the kicker- both dentists I consulted for second and third opinions (a conventional dentist and the recommended holistic dentist) BOTH charted my gums and my pockets were recorded as significantly smaller than Dynamic Dental. They also said they did not see a need for me to have a deep cleaning OR a filling on the tooth that Dr. Sheri said she saw a high likelihood of needing a crown! To this day that tooth doesn't even need a filling much less a crown. It pissed me off to think about now but at the time I wanted to give Dynamic Dental the benefit of the doubt and I called and spoke with their horrible office manager Ali. He acted horrified at my experience with Dr. Nalah and said he would never recommend him to other patients (which turned out not to be true. He said later that he's still recommending Dr. Nalah to patients) said himself he couldn't explain the big difference in my purported gum pockets as their charting system was not unique to their office, and could not give me clarity on why I was recommended likely to need a crown when two dentists said otherwise. Yes different dental offices might have different treatment plans but even if that could be explain the differences in treatment plans, it doesn't explain the differences in charting results, and it does def does not excuse the lack of transparency on the fact that patients do NOT have choice over how they move forward with treatment. At this point, I emailed the office and addressed Dr. Sheri directly and stated everything that had happened (if there was any chance she wasn't aware) and calmly asked for a refund of my consultation fee. Ali tried to call me and I said I emailed Dr. Sheri and I would like her response. He sent me the nastiest email back accusing me of asking for a refund because I found another dentist (something he assumed w/o asking) and bringing up a minor discount I received on said initial consult as if I should be grateful. The absolute nerve. It was signed "the office" (really?) but it was written as Ali speaks so it was clear he wrote this. This is a grown man and the literal office manager. I'm sure he never forwarded the email. No place that respects their patients- all their patients at least- does all this. Patients deserve honesty & transparency and respect for the trust and literal THOUSANDS of dollars patients invest in them. I ended up applying for and getting approved for a chargeback from my bank for the consultation fee. read more

Expensive lesson! I needed some dental work due to a lost filling and wanted to find a biological dentist to repair the filling without a root canal. Dr Sheri's practice was the first that came up in my search, so I booked the first visit and had a bunch of tests done. I had indicated the the lost filling was preventing me from being able to eat comfortably and assumed I'd get a temp filling at least. This was not the case, instead I paid $2000 for the tests and was told to come back for the treatment. They didn't have anything for a month so I figured I'd keep having soup and smoothies until that appt. Meanwhile Dr Sheri referred me to an endodontist that spent an hour trying to sell me on the benefit of root canals. A sales pitch for root canals! But I'd already done the research and was committed to no root canals and when I challenged it the actual argument she used "why on earth would anyone listen to an old guy?" Weston Price did his research through the 1940s. I'm thinking "ever hear of Nikola Tesla or Buckminster Fuller?". But I quietly paid the $350 consultation fee and waited for my next appt with dr Sheri. The next appt was a gum planing with Vicki. Vicki is excellent and if you want a great gum cleaning I recommend her. However, the $2100 fee for the gum treatment was exorbitant, but to top it off still no replacement filling. So here I am $4500 in and still have a gaping hole in my tooth. And of course the endodontist she sent me to recommended a root canal, so that's what they suggested I do, when I was upfront from the beginning at not wanting a root canal. I feel like the whole thing was a sales pitch for root canals and implants. It's very disappointing and patronizing to have your desires totally discounted and railroaded by a healthcare provider. All a big expensive lesson. Go to this practice if you have very deep pockets. The gum treatment and tests are excellent. In the meantime I found a dentist that listened to me and filled my tooth with a pulp cap and composite bonding for $520. read more

Your staff was so rude and unprofessional that I chose to keep looking for a better, more professional business. I found an AMAZING option in Manassas and have been going there ever since. The staff is professional, courteous and very knowledgeable. I didn't have to beg them for information. They offered it- with a genuine smile. They earned a genuine smile from me in return. I've always had very sensitive teeth, and became very nervous about going to the dentist over the years. This place- Bluebell dental- is the first place in my life where I have receive such incredible care that I even look forward to going!! I never thought that was even possible. They care about their patients. Along with thorough and skillful dental care they provide relaxation and comfort. They offer supportive neck pillows, warm blankets, TV/movie above you to keep you pleasantly distracted during cleanings, and dental work. Everyone I've encountered at the office has been so pleasant and friendly. The best part is that my insurance covers everything. When I called ahead of my initial appointment, they were happy to check that for me. I'm super happy with Bluebell dental. Dr Sheri is an excellent dentist - top notch in her field - hands down. Everything surrounding this practice is centered around money; they do not accept any insurance. Each time I scheduled an appointment my credit card was billed $150 before even walking in the door. Dr Sheri would find something to work on when other dentists informed me additional work was not needed. I don't have thousands of dollars to keep paying for services that aren't necessary. Dr. Sheri Salartash is one of the best dentists I have ever had and I recommend her practice to everyone. The office has some of the latest technology to ensure thorough examinations and treatments. I've been a very satisfied patient of Dr. Sheri for several years and have had multiple procedures under her care that have greatly improved my health. Dr. Sheri and her techs' are highly skilled and their chair-side manners are great. When treatments were recommended, I received full explanations on what would be involved and the expected results. This is a 'high end' dentistry experience and I was provided a suggested treatment plan, but they didn't try to upsell me on anything, and did not make me feel uncomfortable about my decisions. Dr. Shari has extensive knowledge of the latest techniques in dental care and provides alternative procedures to accomplish the dental and oral work required to improve my health. Dr. Shari has a very gentle touch and the work has been relatively painless. Everyone is super nice and made me feel at ease. Both Dr. Sheri and the techs made plenty of time to answer my questions. They checked in with me during procedures and were very concerned and paid close attention to how I was doing and feeling throughout the procedures. They explained everything during procedures and commented when to expect some pressure or a slight pinch. They told me each thing they were going to do before they did it, which reduced my anxiety. At one point I flinched in surprise, and Dr. Sheri and her tech immediately stopped and both asked me if I was OK. Nothing was unexpected. Her office staff is kind and welcoming. Everyone is friendly and very informative with respect to billing, my dental needs, scheduling, etc. The office is very relaxing and comfortable, clean and organized. The billing costs are well explained before treatment commenced. The location is also very convenient and parking is abundant. As I wrote above, I am a very satisfied patient. This is a review from a nearly one-year patient. Dr. Sheri and her team members have given me a thorough and holistic dental service in the past few months, including consultation, tests, and surgery which helped me save my teeth! Their professional and careful executions have been conducted, and, equally importantly, their care and advice did arouse my awareness to know much more about my mouth than before. I have learned a lot from them and understand what caused the problems and what I need to do for oral hygiene. It is a big lesson for me. I came to the United States for my family member's academic journey. Four months later, I experienced a severe tooth issue caused by an overgrowth of harmful bacteria elicited by an unexpectedly cold and dry environment in northeastern America and an over-intake of soft drinks. One night, I felt extreme tooth pain and immediately searched for a dentist online. Dr. Sheri caught my attention. I thought she was more than a dentist since her skill sets are apparently much more than what a regular dentist has, as manifested by the terms that she uses (e.g., the philosophies that they carry), the types of equipment and energy, natural healing strategies that she adopts (e.g., the photon wave, the nutrition tests, and various healing strategies that, if I am not mistaken, are not taught by a dental school in the west which is more reductionist-based, and are closer to the natural body healing philosophies, which are more comprehensive, that traditional medicines such as Iranian traditional medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine or Indian Ayurveda Medicine carry), and the degrees and awards that she owns (i.e., there are too many and you need to please check them by yourself) described explicitly on the Dynamic Dental Wellness website. Dr. Sheri has Iranian ancestry and must have Iranian medical wisdom. From my background (I got a Ph. D. in material physics and chemistry and knew basic ideas of Traditional Chinese Medicine), I intuitively believed Dr. Sheri should be my doctor. On the first visit, Dr. Sheri gave me a holistic test and knew the basics of my whole body information, which laid a solid foundation for the following treatments. Afterward, there was a large amount of work done on my teeth. She gave me considerate surgeries and advice, and her fellow members did great services. It was not only the excellent service that moved my teeth back to health but also the heart behind the service. In my one-year teeth healing journey, I have been to Ashburn, VA, more than ten times in the recent year, and each round trip took me more than seven driving hours. That is part of the big lessons. But it was worth it because I not only got the teeth to be healthy again but also learned correct teeth maintenance knowledge and skill and experienced spiritual growth. That is a big lesson for me. Dr. Sheri and her team members provide more than just usual dental services. Regular dental services may be just at 'external' levels. They do much more than that. I paid over $250 for a 5 mins consultation. Literally. The front desk was very rude, and not welcoming. They have changed my appointment a couple of times and called me very last minute. A bunch of people walks around and they are all teenagers with an extreme attitude that instead of making you feel comfortable they are waiting for you to make them feel good. The doctor is showing off her certifications however it does not feel like she provides a good service at all. There is literally no care but only charging $$$. I left the office with no information or understood what is my treatment plan. She said I have to get comprehensive consultation that costs over $500. And they handed me a bunch of papers to sign. That's about it. Can you believe it!! She was not kind and made me feel very uncomfortable and asked questions that has nothing to do with my treatment. I was just waiting there and she came to the exam room and started "listen to me, I am going to talk" and raised her voice. I was in shock. Her assistant took a bunch of x-rays and she never went through any of them. Apparently, $250 was not enough! Never seen something like this. What a horrible service. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone. read more
