Needed to tighten the waistline and I also wanted to trim the dress length so it'd reach the top of my knee - Late October 2025: I got my Maid of Honor dress altered here! Unfortunately, I had very vague ideas of what I wanted. No more than 10 mins on the fitting platform and this gentleman was able to piece together alterations I was extremely happy with when I had to wear this dress less than a month later. - April 2026: I got 2 of my new trousers hemmed here. I had pants from Banana Republic and Aritzia that fit well for my waist, but I needed to shorten the length for the pant legs. Although there's a bit of a language barrier, this man is extremely talented and a local treasure to the Diamond Bar community. I no longer live in the area, but he's worth the drive from the South Bay for PERFECT alterations. Most places have drastically increased their rates because of the pandemic, but I've never quarreled with the owner of Diamond Bar Tailoring. Fair prices for absolute phenomenal work!! He may not have the 5-star rating on Yelp he did back then in 2019, but he's always been consistent and great with managing his time/customer expectations. I have a deep respect for his craft and genuinely give him a "10/10 a would recommend."

When I returned I was devastated by her finished work. There are now two crooked lines going down my dress. Jean stated because my dress has 3 layers and hard to access areas it was difficult. She offered to take out the stitching, but I knew the dress wouldn't look the same because it's chiffon. I just wish she told me upfront that she was unable to do it because now I have to shop for a new dress. I would highly reconsider going to her business with formal clothing.

They listened to exactly what I wanted and somehow understood my confusing explanation of "make it fit better but not too tight but also not too loose." I expected to wait forever, but they finished much faster than I thought. When I picked up my clothes, the quality of the work was amazing. I was quoted $50-$60 to shorten my graduation dress by about 4 inches, which felt outrageously expensive when I paid $35 for the dress itself. While giving me the quote, she mentioned that the dress was white. I found that odd because I didn't understand what the color had to do with how much length I wanted taken off. I can only assume she thought it was a bridal dress and expected me to pay more, but either way, it was a no-go for me. Another issue: I wasn't even able to try on the dress while she was giving me the quote, so I couldn't see how much length actually needed to come off. It turned out to be 7 inches, so imagine how much I would have been quoted! Thankfully, I found a little gem on Riverside Drive where I'm getting it altered and pressed for $25. Save your time, folks.
