Express Alteration did a great job altering my sons suit! I initially called to see what the time frame and cost of an alteration were. Both were understandably varied depending on what needed to be done. Since I was in a time crunch and needed the alterations done within 6 days. I hurried and stopped by. The location conveniently have dressing rooms and a platform where measurements are done. The lady that took my sons measurements was very nice. She also had her children there both times I visited. At pick up she was going over her sons math homework with him. I found the moment to be endearing as she was juggling being a mother and business owner. Anyways, I mentioned to her I needed the alterations done no later than Tuesday. As it was Wednesday, that gave her 6 days to complete the work. A time frame she did say she complete; however, what made me appreciate her more was that it was done sooner, on a Friday! Just two days. When I picked the suit up, it came out great. This tailor is great. The young lady who helped me (I believe her name is Stephanie) spoke with me on the phone and answered all my questions before I made the trip to her store. When I got there I had a bunch more questions and she again answered them all and advised me on a few other topics. She was very kind and afterwards she provided me a day to pick it up and a very fair price. When i called in the day for pickup they said it was ready earlier than expected which is great because I needed to get the pants tailored for a business trip I was going to. I tried them on and it was a perfect fit. I really appreciated how much time she spent answering my questions. Finding a good tailor is often times harder than finding a good doctor or a dentist. I purchased a jumpsuit for my birthday on Amazon. It needed to be taken in, was too long even with heels, and had a deep v neck down to the belly button. I brought it in on a Wednesday and it was ready Friday afternoon. I had it sized down, hemmed, and had the v neck stitched up perfectly. It looked amazing. I took a simple straight dress in to be hemmed above the knee. It was done incorrectly to the middle of the knee. She said she would fix it, to come back next week. When I returned a week later she had done nothing to the dress. I was taken by surprise when she then turned on me. She took an attitude with me saying the dress had been marked correctly even though it was still not ready nor to my satisfaction.
