Wilson was terrible to work with. I'd recommend hiring anyone else due to his unprofessionalism…read more I'm posting on both Google and Yelp to warn people about him, and to encourage you to find literally anyone else. First, he does not communicate. Wilson and I scheduled an appointment for him to fix a broken AC unit in the height of summer. We agreed on a date and time, and I moved my own clients to accommodate him. He never showed up. When I asked him to at least give me a heads up in the future, he said, "Oh, I was already driving away from the city and didn't want to turn around." At the very minimum, he should have given a notice that he was not planning to come. Second, he does not honor his own warranties. A brand-new unit was installed and broke after 1 year of regular use. He stated that a part broke, but it would cost $200 to come and fix it. This is not a warranty, this is grifting for additional "labor costs." Third, he does not honor his own prices. His company sent out a summer promotion flyer for regular maintenance. There was not expiration date on this flyer. When he came out, at a date that he chose a week later than when we called, he then quoted a price that was $400 higher than the promotion, and stated that "the offer expired" despite there being no written expiration date. In addition, he chose to come out on a date beyond this arbitrary "expiration date." Fourth, his craftsmanship is shoddy and he has no attention to detail. I have never had to call someone so many times to fix a unit. This is due to his lack of attention to detail (not ensuring the steam valve is functional, or not ensuring that the actuator is working prior to finishing the job). Of course, each time he comes out is an additional fee. In short, Wilson is unprofessional, has shockingly poor craftsmanship, and was overall unpleasant to work with. Please find literally anyone else to repair your HVAC.

I live in the gentrified portion of Newark, right next to Harrison. There are families walking their dogs every other days and events in the park. I live right next to Rutgers and NJIT, and am covered by their campus police forces. I don't buy him feeling unsafe, since Elizabeth has the potential to be as rough as some parts of Newark (which again, I don't live in). Regardless, if he felt unsafe, he could have told us earlier instead of wasting our time and now we have to find another HVAC in the middle of a heat wave. Do not use this service, they are unprofessional.
