If you've ordered something on Amazon and it's shipping through Dynamex, I'd really urge you to just reorder what you've bought, despite the inconvenience. There's no relying on this company at all. Not just for packages getting there on time, but for getting there, period. The last update showed my package was in a warehouse in my town, but it was running three days late with no updates. I looked up the company and found this Yelp page, and I was shocked to see how many people say they just never received their packages. But sure enough, that's exactly what happened to me. Something is really, really fishy about this company. If you've got something coming, especially if it's time sensitive, you do NOT want to depend on them. Reorder your shipment, in the unlikely event that Dynamex does deliver (or in the more likely event that they say your package was lost) get a refund, and while doing that ask Amazon to de-prioritize Dynamex as a shipper for you. I know it sounds very drastic and inconvenient, but I can only tell you from my personal experience and the staggering number of similar reviews that you really don't want to take your chances on these guys. read more

Purchased same day delivery item on Amazon and Dynamex was the carrier. Got a notification from amazon that Item was delivered but there was no item found anywhere at my front yard. Contacted Dynamex and according to them, the GPS shows delivery at my house and advised like alwasy to contact amazon. Upon checking security cameras, there were vehicle stopped by my house but NO ONE MADE any delivery. These guys are thieves. read more

I ordered a new printer from Office Depot...a bigger one, I am handicapped and that was the reason I wasn't going to pick it up at the store. They claim it was delivered today. I was home all day in my apartment and there had been no deliveries...Turns out they delivered it to the leasing office of the apartment complex without even trying my apartment. It would have been easier for me to pick it up at the store, at least they would have put it in the car for me. Will now have to pay someone to deliver the printer from leasing ofc. to my apartment. Defeated the purpose of delivery! read more

I ordered an item with Amazon Dec. 12 with 2-day delivery. On Dec. 13 at daylight I saw a package at the end of my driveway, a few inches away from the street! When I got it and checked online, it had been dropped there at 11pm on Dec. 12. They are lucky I live in a quiet, safe neighborhood and it wasn't stolen! read more

Package was not delivered! What a shock. The worst part is Amazon doesn't care! Amazon should not offer something they can't guarantee. They continue to use this carrier even though it is obvious that they can't keep their end of the deal. Just don't order anything you really need in a day because it most likely won't happen! read more

The review is really -5 rather than a lowly 1. I have waited for two days, cancelled plans and no delivery, no answers from call operators who happen to be located in Ghana!! At the end of each day the tracking delivery date changes to yet another day. This the the worst company I have ever experienced!! Do not use this service! read more

I have contacted Amazon directly about this company and the shoddy business they are running. I, as does Jessica and others, use Amazon Prime for various items. If there is no assurance from Amazon that Dyamex will NOT be used for my future PRIME orders, I won't be purchasing from Amazon. I have greatly appreciated the quality of Amazon's deliveries and timeliness, but this experience has completely eroded that trust. read more

Pretty much the worst delivery service on the face of the planet. Bunch of unbelievably lazy and dishonest workers I've ever seen. It's an absolute shame that Amazon has decided to use these guys. Same day shipping and next day shipping does not exist when these guys are delivering your item. It amazes me how they're even in busineses. read more

I wish Amazon would show the delivery carrier before an order is placed. I now live in Dallas and this is by far the Worst delivery service ever. My next day delivery is now 2 days and still waiting. Amazon Tracking information shows its in transit but Dynamex tracking shows its is not in their system. Unfortunently there is no way to review shipping companies on Amazon read more

Bad bad bad all around. They lie about packages being delivered (they simply lose them, happened to me 3 times in a week, they even managed to lose a package that was a replacement for a package they lost in the first place). They hire kids who get paid like pennies for each delivery, they don't even use their own trucks, the poor kids have to use their own car! The is the world that we now live in I guess... read more

I can't say much beyond what others have already said. Long-time Amazon Prime member who has utilized same-day shipping on more than one occasion (usually with Lonestar Overnight). Ordered a few items I needed for same-day delivery this past Tuesday to help save myself an extra trip after work that day. At 6:53pm I received a text stating my package had been delivered. Hmm... I'd been home for several hours and we were watching TV in our living room right by the front door. No knock, no package, nothing. After looking up the company and finding these reviews, I decided to check around the property - no package anywhere to found. Thankfully Amazon immediately refunded my money and I reordered using the 2-day shipping to utilize UPS. Funny enough, our 2-day UPS package showed up Thursday....and then Friday evening I get an e-mail from our apartment office stating our same-day package that was supposed to arrive Tuesday had been delivered to a DIFFERENT apartment complex on a completely different street with an entirely different street number as well. Nothing was even close to the original mailing address besides the zip code. Lazy company that continues to make the same inexcusable errors over and over again (as evidenced just by the reviews here on Yelp) - I will never risk having to utilize them again. read more

Worst delivery service I have ever used. I would like to give zero stars. When the driver finally showed up, a day after the guaranteed delivery date, he stated I had two minutes to get down to the lobby of the building and sign for my package or he was leaving. Amazon should stop using these incompetents. There is no way to contact them or do online tracking. read more

Worst carrier ever. Package shows as delivered. Was not delivered. Dynamex assured Amazon (who contacted them on my behalf) that it would be delivered the next day, Thanksgiving. No package. NO response from Dynamex. Thankfully, Amazon refunded me. read more

WORST.COMPANY.EVER. Like so many others, I'm an Amazon Prime Member (and I suspect that will change very shortly), and I placed a One-Day Delivery order this week. Shame on me. After THREE DAYS of chats with Amazon (that's another story--ask me what I think of their "Leadership Team"--the order was, as of last night, "lost". It then required replacement and someone dropped it off this morning. This is the shoddiest of service and, if Amazon continues to use them, will be my last experience with them. No apologies from Dynamex about "losing" an order that Amazon apparently could track until last night--but, then again, I've had it up to my eyes with empty apologies. Just glad I wasn't waiting for a liver transplant. read more

Well, it has been said by everyone else giving the same rating. To this day, it is still not delivered. My comments I received from Dynamex, "No access to front door". This was after the driver came to our front door and spoke to us. He said he didn't even have the package with him and that he would be back tomorrow. When I asked Dynamex customer service, this was their reply, "We checked w/ local operations and unfortunately your order was mis-routed on the wrong driver yesterday. It is out for delivery today for delivery by 9pm.". Still nothing. Same comment left by Dynamex two days in a row. "No access". They didn't even reply to my second customer service complaint. My same day deliver is now four days late and is not "expected" to be delivered until tomorrow. Worthless company and I cannot believe Amazon tolerates it. They are losing so much money. I never got anything "free". Just a refund and a reorder. read more

Had a delivery from Amazon scheduled. Dynamex delivery gets dropped off at the door. The delivery person did not knock or ring the door bell. I watch the delivery happen. I went to the front door to pick up the package and talk to the delivery person, but he had already walk out of my line of sight. What I did see at the end of my driveway was even more concerning. A black car was in my driveway waiting to see if someone was home to pick up the package. They drove away as soon as they saw me pick it up. I was fortunate to be waiting for the delivery. Dynamex, you have to ensure your delivery people ring the door bell or at least knock. What ever happened to delivering the package to a person instead of just dropping it at the front door. This kind of systemic theft is becoming more and more common as a result of online shopping. What are you doing about it? read more

Terrible service. Expedited a package for a next day delivery.... package was a 'no show'. They rescheduled for two days later. I called the next morning to tell them the package was already a day late and needed to be delivered today. They assured me over the phone I would get it that day... still no delivery!! Now...into the third day and the package has still not arrived. What really bothers me is they told me over the phone I would receive... so to me they blatantly lied to me about delivering the package. Do NOT use this company!!! read more

Dynamex lies about its deliveries. I assume this is to keep their on-time statistics high. I ordered from Amazon and used the "guaranteed" same day Prime delivery and my package showed that it had been delivered later that day. When I checked the tracking it said that it had been physically handed off to the recipient at the front door. I wasn't home and assumed they had delivered it by mistake to another house. I called Amazon and got a replacement (which wasn't same-day shipping BTW). Two days later Dynamex delivered the original package at my front door. I can't believe Amazon uses this company. They have to know at this point what is going on. read more

I see lots of complaints here, but I guess I was lucky. The Amazon order I placed at 9pm showed at 9am the next morning.

My package tracking shows the delivery driver couldn't access my front door. Says sometimes that happens when folks live in gated communities. Except I live on a dirt road out in the country and there is no gate anywhere near my road, not even a fence or a board that could be mistaken for a gate. Great excuse to not deliver a package and still get paid for doing it. Smart guys. Terrible delivery service. Going over to complain to Amazon now and suggest they stop using this business for their deliveries, since they are scamming Amazon by claiming they've done a job they clearly have not done and they're making Amazon customers (see all the other bad reviews) very unhappy when they do. read more

I wouldn't even give one star . This company totally sucks, plain and simple. I had a office desk delivered, carrier never rang doorbell or knocked. I was sitting in next room with my dog who would definitely have let me know someone was at the door because he barks at lizards when they are outside of the door. I heard a door shut so I got up and went to the open storm door to see if they had finally arrived after waiting the entire day. I see a red truck, no writing on it, take off as I see this monstrosity of a box laying against my front door wall. I am woman I can do most anything except haul a mother f'n box the size of a queen bed in my house. After contacting Dynamex and trying to communicate with someone with broken English who tried to explain, she had no control of delivery person and she was sorry like 5 times with no help what so ever. DONT EVER use these people. I'm still trying how to get this monster in my house read more

The only reason I even use this carrier is because it is Amazon prime's same day service. I have had these guys walk into my apartment at least 3 times, without knocking. I even put I sign on my door that says private, they still come in. I have had one guy scan it as delivered at 7:50 to beat the guaranteed delivery time but I got a knock at my door at 11 PM with my package. 11 PM! Just yesterday I received a phone call from my dynamex driver, he was out on the street and he refused to deliver my package to my door and I had go down to the street to get my vinyl record. Not too sure his reasoning, he barely spoke English and he looked able. Dynamex is just people driving around their dumpy personal mini vans and clunkers. I really hope Amazon gets the hint soon, these guys are basically just people off the street delivering your packages. No training, no manners, bad service. read more

Dynamex delivery service is horrible! The employees are so lazy that they can't be bothered to ring the doorbell, introduce themselves, and deliver your package. Nope, they will ring your doorbell once and leave your package on the ground. This has happened to me twice. I live in a big apartment complex so this is very unacceptable. Luckily, I was home on both occasions and I can move fast enough to retrieve my package before anybody else decides to scoop it up. Amazon really needs to stick with UPS,FedEx, or USPS. read more

Terrible service. I ordered a desk for the office from Office Depot 3 weeks ago and still not here. When it didn't arrive on the date scheduled I called Office Depot and was told that the product had been damaged during delivery and that they were putting in a new order. The second time the desk did not arrive as scheduled, I called Office Depot and was told that there had been two delivery attempts supposedly during business hours and that our building was closed. NOT TRUE! Office Depot put in an order for the third time and assured that it would arrive today. I called Office Depot earlier today and INSISTED that they contact Dynamex given their poor record with delivery of our desk and Office Depot said that Dynamex had said they would deliver today OR tomorrow because they were so busy. This is extremely frustrating as it is disrupting our day to day production. This is the worst delivery service I have ever dealt with in my life! read more

I totally agree with Desiree who reviewed Dynamex in December. I spoke to them this morning (Monday) after they just dropped off packages at the apartment office on a Saturday rather than coming to the apartment where I was waiting to receive them. I found that the drivers make the decision whether to go to the apartment or just drop everything off at the office. With no notification at the apartment, I waited too long (Amazon said before 8 p.m.) and then found a note in my post office mailbox at 6 p.m. that my packages had been left in the office while I was waiting for them at home. The office had closed at 5 p.m. Today is Monday, I am at work, and still do not have the packages from Amazon for which I paid for Saturday delivery. One driver came to the apartment and brought the package; the other went directly to the office even though I was home. This was sad, as I was unable to take those gifts to a family this weekend. Their customer service seems unable to do anything, as they say it is up to the driver. There seems to be no company policy to deliver to waiting customers. read more

Worst customer service ever. Had a package from Amazon that was going to arrive late therefore I did not need it anymore... so I called Amazon, Amazon rep put in request to Dynamex to not deliver but to return to Amazon. Amazon instructed me to refuse package if for some reason it still arrives. I never had a chance to refuse package, it still ended up at my door because they can't even bother to ring the doorbell/knock when they drop something off. When I called Dynamex customer service to address this issue customer service rep laughed and said they are paid by how many packages they deliver, so they sometimes literally throw the package on front porch and drive off. So professional!!! He offered to have the guy come back to pick up and package and return it to Amazon but considering the fact that this was actually a REPLACEMENT package (that's right, this is the second time in one order that Dynamex messed up) due to the original package being lost by Dynamex, I have zero faith that Dynamex would have actually gotten my 600$ item back to Amazon so that I could be refunded. Amazon needs to drop them as a carrier. I called Amazon to make arrangements for another RELIABLE carrier to pick this item up for return read more

I created a Yelp account just to review this place. They CONSTANTLY screw up my Amazon shipments. The first two times a package was "delivered" to my apartment complex by them, I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went out searching. I went to the front office, walked around the community, and even drove around to neighboring complexes to see if my package was there. The third time I had Amazon send a replacement only for my "delivered" package to magically show up on my doorstep the following day. The fourth time, no delivery. Today is the fifth time that I don't have a package that shows delivered. I wish I was joking. I genuinely wish that I was exaggerating. I wish that it was just in humor that I say a company sucks this freaking badly. But it's not... How much of my life am I wasting talking to Amazon customer support because this company is an absolute dumpster fire? How much time am I never going to get back? read more
