I always get them cut down on every fill. I asked her that I wanted them round so all she cut was half and inch or not even less then that. she filed them round and at the end she tells me it's $25. They need to tell their customers about prices before doing work. I personally hate surprises. I hated the way my nails turned out. All their nail polishes are old and needs to be replaced. Very dissatisfied and disappointed . What a waste of $$ and I also treated my daughter to a set and hers was $45 cause she wanted some lines drawn on her nails. Total of $80 including tip

I went today without an appointment, and I said that I needed a refill. I said I was willing to wait, and they said one hour wait, so I decided to leave and come back, which I told them I was going to. When I come back after one hour, they asked if I could come tomorrow instead... because she didn't had time for me. Why they didn't just said that since the beginning? I could've just go somewhere else... I told her that I can't tomorrow. I'm having an important trip tomorrow I don't have time! and now every other place it's already closed. So unprofessional!

The wife did my pedicure and she was so attentive to my feet and nails as I struggle with lots of dry skin and nails that break. She recommended the deluxe spa to really help with my heels, so I took up the suggestion. The only thing that probably could have been better was the massage, but I'm pretty picky. A week later and my toes still look great and I love the color I chose. They do have a rewards punch card so don't forget to bring it with you to each visit. I can't wait to go back!

Every time I have come in, as a walk-in, I've always received prompt and courteous service. My request is always the same...pedicure and eyebrow waxing. And the service is always good. Typically I'm offered water while I sit back in the massage chair and enjoy a relaxing pedicure. The vibe is always calm and a low noise environment. Sometimes there is light music in the back ground and other times it's the TV. I'm pretty satisfied with the services here.

This is my go-to pedi place in Oviedo. I love that you get a little drink with your service, which…read moreis probably the big thing that keeps me coming back here. A little sad when I say it loud, but Mama is looking for PEACE, ya know? All beauty businesses should give their clients a little champagne to get into pamper mode! Am I right, or am I right? That being said, the service here can be hit or miss. I never manage to keep track of technician's names that I particularly like--or when I do, they're gone after a few appointments. I've never been upset about the finished product, but pedis are a little more low stakes than manicures. I have had the occasional "rough" technician, where the relaxation is disturbed by occasional pain. And you only need to be sliced open by the sharp edge of a nail file once before you're on high alert to prevent it ever happening again. I just wish I could count on pure relaxation when coming here. On my last visit, I'm sad to say my chair was straight up dirty. Both side tables on the chair and their cup holders had not been cleaned in obviously quite some time. I know this because it looked like the inside of our car when a detailing is long overdue! There was evidence of multiple spills which had gotten sticky and had started collecting dust and grime. I'm no clean freak but it's such an easy thing to restore to sparkling! A cloth dipped in hot water with a tiny bit of sanitizing/cleaning agent, zero elbow grease, and the chair would have looked brand new. And while I have no doubt they sanitize their tools, it makes you wonder what else they're letting slide. My daughter got an acrylic set on my last visit as well. The tech did a great job with my teen's polish design, which was of course very specific, but the work on the acrylics was just...bad. The fingernails were molded upwards at an angle like her nails were peeling backwards at the base. I didn't say anything because I didn't see the finished product until the end, but I also didn't want my teen thinking the nails she just got for her event were "bad." I will be coming back here, but this last visit was the first in a long time and upon re-entering I realized my less frequent pedis were because the place just isn't as relaxing as it once was. Like I said, not giving up on Velvet, but I am always on the lookout for the Pedi Heaven I seek. I hope they can bring it!

They were social distancing groups that didn't come together by spacing out the seats. They have a ton of chairs for pedicures and several tables for manicures. I went with two of my girlfriends and all of our techs were nice. The lady that did my toes was young but friendly. I got the basic massage as their prices are a bit more than my usual spot. The massage was not good as she even did both legs at the same time during some moments. My two big toe nails are slanted as they were not clipped or filed evenly which is annoying. My friends said there massages were "meh" and felt as though the ladies focused more on their conversation with each other. Not sure I'd go back.

The salon is nice and clean, with plenty of options for nail colors. Im used to my regular salon that puts plastic over the tub and opens a brand new pack of tools during each service, so was a little taken aback that this is not the case everywhere else. Overall, the pedicure was okay. My tech was slow, but not quite because she was meticulous, she was just slow. She was not very good at painting but cleaned up at the end and my nails turned out fine. The nail polish started chipping just a couple of days after, which was frustrating. The pedicure was $25, which is normal. I don't know if I'll be back, because it wasn't great but it wasn't terrible.
