The staff and teachers are nice and friendly. The establishment is clean. But there were three…read morethings that I didn't care for- Firstly, scheduling can be quite hit or miss. I often had to leave a message or email, which made communication delayed and sometimes frustrating. Secondly, I recorded portions of each lesson. And honestly- the last lesson (after two months of lessons) was exactly the same as the first. I had to ask for the teacher to challenge my daughter and to show her how to kick her legs, not just say "kick, kick, kick... good," when she didn't kick! I wish they had a progress card with set goals. They had "scripts" for each week... but there was zero progress. Thirdly, the commitment to an entire semester was our breaking point. You can do month to month, but it costs more. So it wasn't a bad experience... but it wasn't great. And for the tuition... I'd really like to see the teacher encouraging progress- not stay comfortable with stagnation.

No one emailed. No one texted. I called the following week and manger couldn't get on the phone so I asked the very new receptionist to relay to the manager that I expected a call back with resolution. No call back. This is a really great "small gym." I needed a gym to rent out for a few hours a day for my team…read more The owner Marisa is so sweet and helpful. The gym fits about 7 panel mats (2 short) but it's enough to to get full specialty passes in if you just do a two step hurdle. They have garage doors so when it's nice out you can open them up for air flow. They also have those huge industrial fans to cool the place off when it's hot. There is one wall of full mirrors so your athletes are able to watch themselves as they practice. Currently they have a non spring floor, which I personally think is awesome. I train my athletes without spring so they're used to working as opposed to relying on the springs to do the work. After meeting the owner, another coach (Billie), and spending some time at the facility, I would definitely recommend coming here for any of your cheer needs.

I normally only go to Dick's to look at the Under Armour selection on the first floor of the store…read more It is the area between the escalators. During this last trip I found myself upstairs looking at shirts that were upstairs close to where the hunting clothes items are located. I found some additional Under Armour shirts that were more related to hunting and some that were related to military organizations. As I was browsing through the shirts an associate came up to me and asked if I needed help with anything. I told him I was good for now. He said his name was Tyler and if I needed anything just let him know. I thanked him for asking and let him know I was good. I've always known that Dick's had an area where they have some ammo and a few rifles. This is in the same part of the store where the hunting and fishing gear is located. As an avid shooter I thought I'd browse around to see if they had any good deals on ammunition. As I walked over to the area where the ammo and rifles were I noticed that there were several showcases full of handguns. They also had a much bigger selection of rifles and ammo than what I remembered. As I walked up to the showcases I was met again by Tyler who greeted me with a welcoming smile and asked if I would like to see anything. I was really surprised by the selection of handguns in the showcases. As I looked through the glass at the selection I asked to see a few of the handguns. Tyler was very accommodating as one gun turned into two, and then three. All along Tyler did a fantastic job telling me about each handgun. I'm sure I was driving him crazy with all of my questions. Tyler seemed very happy to help me with each handgun I asked about. The prices of the guns were on par with other stores I have shopped at recently. After looking at the handguns I turned my attention to the ammo selection. Again Tyler asked me if I needed any help and I told him I was good. The amount of attention I received from Tyler was great. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything I asked to see or questions I had as we spoke. He also showed a lot of patience as I looked at the different guns. This is not the kind of attention you normally receive at big sporting goods stores. It was very refreshing to be able to talk with someone that truly wanted to help me. I just feel bad because I didn't buy anything, although the next time I'm in the market for a new firearm I'm going to Dick's first!
