We were not impressed with the quality of the 32 hours classroom course. It also included at least one movie clip my daughter had to skip because of foul language. When my wife tried to schedule the 14 in-car sessions, Dr. Lewis, the owner, said we did not need to do that, but only sign her up for 7 sessions. We thought we did not understand the process, but as we took our daughter in, our experience was that there would be two student drivers in the school vehicle, and each would drive 30 minutes and observe 30 minutes. However, the school counted it as an hour of driving and an hour of observation for my daughter, and probably for the other student as well. We asked Dr. Lewis about it again and received an unconvincing explanation. We finished the school last week, and I expressed my concern to a different staff member, and his explanation was that "you get up to 14 hours." In the end, we expected to receive 14 hours in-car, but received at best 3 1/2 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and 3 hours of observation. We had to do a lot more of the instruction ourselves and feel taken advantage of.

I'm wondering about the motivations of the people criticizing her in negative reviews. She clearly has a strong attention to detail and tries very hard to be helpful. The gentleman who works there did my student's road test and was also very helpful and kind. My teenager was so nervous that she was feeling unwell, but both of them were beyond kind and patient. (He made her laugh, which helped her relax.) I was beyond pleasantly surprised. My teen passed, and he gave some kind advice on things we can continue working on. I highly recommend Ideal.

I needed a local business that was open on Sunday's, and preferably one with competitive pricing ~ or better than! I found Ideal Driving School's parent and student reviews to be very positive and comforting. I gave them and call about 4 o'clock one day, they answered unlike another local school I called where I had to leave a message and then a call center contacted me back, and I had my son signed up for his road test on the date and time I needed) in less than 10 minutes! This was approx. one month before his sixteenth birthday. We were able to stop by the driving school the same day I booked the test to take a photo of the actual mapped out road test he would be taking ~ no problem! Very handy for driving practice. Today he took his road test! We arrived 10 minutes early and checked in with the friendly staff. We were able to pay using Zelle so that we didn't have to pay for additional fees for using a credit card. Next we met with the driving instructor before the road test, and were given an easy to read document to review that advised of exactly what would cause someone to lose points on the test or cause an immediate fail. Love the transparency! Practice makes perfect! The instructor was very friendly and my son shared that the road test experience was painless! Thank you Ideal Driving School! I recommend this school for anyone needing the Texas road test!

I have never had a student fail the class. Just about every student likes the class and the way it is taught. I would recommend anyone wanting to take Drivers Ed to take it at All American Driving School in Garland. Right now we are a little short on in-car instructors so driving times are a little hard to get. However you have six months to get it done. Randy, our owner, is working to get more in-car instructors soon. I would do it but I recently had a stroke with Back pain so classroom is all I can do. Everyone that works there is so nice.

It gave me the option to re-activate it but as I do that it redirects me to contact support. Now I went to contact support and it won't even let me send a message through. Worst experience ever and complicated for no reason. It would be best to choose a safer option like aceable.
