I moved from Austin to Fort Worth...thought it would be easy to find another stylist that understands what I like and would make me happy each visit but I was COMPLETELY wrong Dyanna has been doing hair for a long time and she knows what she's doing I GLADLY take the 3 1/2 hour drive down to get a cut and color... She's completely worth it. I recommend Dyanna Watts to anyone and everyone she's a sweet thoughtful lady and knows what she's doing. Love love LOVE her....can't say that enough.... She is the best hairdresser I've ever been too. Hands down. read more

I call Dyanna the queen of highlights. She can do Jennifer Aniston highlights, superfine and natural. Also very close to the roots. When they grow out, the hair actually looks ombré without a defined line, so I can go months without redoing. And she does this for a reasonable price. I don't know what happened with Kristine B., but, looking at her pictures, it looks like Dyanna did a much better job than the second salon she also complained about. At least you can see in her pic of Dyanna's work how close she gets to the roots. read more

Dyanna Watts - Dyana's highlights.Superfine & natural, very close to the roots. When they grow out, they look ombré-no line. Tons of compliments! - Hair Salons Near Me

She has the most experience out of anyone I have used in Austin so far. Everytime I have gotten high and low lights done there has been a mix of color during the rise process. I came in with what most people would call a hot mess and she made sure that my goals were more realistic. My hair turned out better than we both hoped for! Will definitely be going back, thank you! read more

Dyanna is beyond fabulous! It's been 2 months since my last visit and my hair still looks great. I don't know what it is about Dyanna's color/highlight jobs but they are nothing short of spectacular. I've never been able to go this long without root touch ups. Her cuts are spectacular as well. I honestly feel that Dyanna is a hair "artist" and that nobody steps our of her tiny salon with the same do. I feel GORGEOUS when I step out of Dyanna's place and for the months that follow since my hair looks great for so long!!! Important to note as well: Dyanna is no Edward Scissor Hands! With her help I've been successful at growing out bangs and the length of my hair. I've had no awkward hair days during this process which is hard to believe. Dyanna = Hair Goddess! She will pamper you. Treat you like a princess (or prince) and will not disappoint. Love her!!! read more

Well, I am very disappointed in Dyanna, the first appointment she completely forgot about me, she did move another client over to try and help me. But she didn't have time to color my hair, which when I called her I had asked for a cut and color. So I just got a cut because she hat forgotten about my appointment. Mistakes happen, so I let it go. The second appointment the studio was flooded (not to mention Dyanna was late for my appointment), but the flood was not her fault. The third appointment was the last straw, I had a 9am appointment and Dyanna never showed or called to tell me why she was late or didn't show up. I will not give someone hundreds of dollars ot be so disrespectful of other people's time. She is very good at coloring, but I will not pay someone to waste my very valuable time. Very unprofessional person. read more

Dyanna is the most meticulous hair stylist I've ever been to! I have fairly long, dark, fine hair - with a strong cowlick - just to make things interesting. Dyanna took the time to listen to me. She make sure my hair was 'perfect' and didn't settle for good enough. read more

From reading the yelp reviews I decided to go to Dyanna and I couldn't be happier with the decision! I have been looking for a new hair stylist for months and I finally found one! She is nothing short of greatness. I look forward to visiting with her more than getting my hair done. I have been going to her for over 6 years. She stays up to date on the best colors and gets you to the root. read more

I was referred to Diana about 8 years ago from a friend and have been going to her ever since! It is so hard to find a hair stylist that consistently gives a great haircut and with Dyanna, you are always getting the highest of quality. I actually look forward to my appointments with her and it's always a great experience. She does so many little things to go above and beyond and her personality is so warm and friendly. I also have sent many of my female friends to her and they are all impressed with her talent for coloring as well. She is even one of Paul Mitchell's national educators! If you are looking for the best cut or color in Austin, you have to try Dyanna. She has my business for life...or until she retires! read more

She was able to do an amazing job fixing my bad highlights that I got done somewhere else & I was so thankful & happy! I highly recommend her, she knows what she's doing & uses Olaplex! read more

Dyanna is a meticulous when it comes to giving you the perfect haircut. I loved the way she was able to layer my hair so I can wear it straight or curly. I have received many compliments. You rock, Dyanna! read more

Dyanna gives me a GREAT haircut every time . I drive quite a long distance and she is worth it . Sometimes I like to change up my style and she always gets it right . On a side note she is very cool and a wonderful person . read more

Dyanna is very talented when it comes to cutting hair, that I will not deny. She will make sure you're getting the best style for your frame. If all you want is a great cut with some added tlc, this is your stylist. My only objection is her space was in need of a deep cleaning--if you suffer from OCD, you might want to think about your comfort level with the dingies. Other than that, just don't forget your cash/check book because that's the only method of payment accepted. read more

Great place if you want to blindly trust your professional hairdresser. If you want to provide input into the color or style of your hair, I would recommend looking elsewhere. read more

Dyanna is as good as it gets! I can't find enough good words to describe what a superb hair artist she is. Imagine what you would look like if you were fortunate enough to find someone to give you the best hairstyle of your life. Imagine no longer because Dyanna is the person that can make that dream come true for you. I was lucky to find her through yelp. Today I visited her and I can honestly say it was the best hairstyle I have ever had. Period. If you are looking for the best, look no further, you have found her. read more

For me, the best experience I can have with a stylist is to sit in the chair and to say"I want something new....what do you think?" Dyanna is that kind of stylist. She asks great questions to be sure she understands what your expectations are then, she just 'gets it'!. Call her, make an appointment - you won't be disappointed! read more

Love my hair cut and color! I'm glad I trusted the other reviews on Yelp because they were spot on. Dyanna is very meticulous and detail oriented, and made me feel so comfortable and welcomed in her salon. Since we spent nearly 3 hours together, it was great that she is so personable and easy going. She really listened to what I wanted and collaborated with me on something that was fun. Very reasonably priced too. Will definitely come back and will recommend her to my friends. read more

I should have posted a review of Dyanna before now, but honestly, I don't think of her as a stylist any longer. She's much more a close friend. I been seeing her since 2002, so you know I'm satisfied. Over the years, I've done long and layered, short and curly, the blunt cut severe bob, etc. etc. etc. My hair has a temper and the cowlicks can be fierce, but Dyanna listens to what I want and then manages to give me the best approximation for my hair type and lifestyle. Each month, two or three people will stop me and ask who cuts my hair. My natural color is fiery copper, so I don't color, but I am always jealous when I see ladies coming out of her chair with gorgeous highlights. When I complained that I thought my hair was starting to thin at the crown, she didn't simply try to sell me some elixir she had in the salon - she really researched it, selecting one product line that actually made my hair grow back in. Seriously, I was like a Chia Pet for a few weeks. It was astounding to realize just how many follicles weren't producing. I read that by the time you notice you hair is thinning, you've lost 50% of it. I believe it now and I appreciate the effort she made to help resolve what was becoming a real issue for me. (BTW, she does keep those products in stock now.) What you need to know when booking an appointment: If you leave a message on her booking line, it may take a day or so for your call to be returned. Also, she is a real perfectionist. So while a shampoo/cut/style appointment may be scheduled for one hour, you could be there longer. I resolve this by not planning anything time-sensitive for 30 minutes after a hair appointment. It's worth it. I'd much rather have someone devoted to my hair than someone rushing me out the door. read more

Dyanna Is absolutely the best!! She always stays up on the best new trends, however she knows just how to listen to what you REALLY want. She will give you the most honest advice on what would looks best on you, while keeping in mind your unique style/time/maintenance etc. I literally went to her for 10 years until I moved to go to medical school! She is amazing for those regular upkeeps, and those complete overhauls. She was amazing when I switched from brown to blonde, easing into it so it looked like a natural progression, and using non-bleaching products so my hair felt incredibly soft and healthy. I recommend her to everyone! read more

Dyanna just highlighted my daughter's very long, dark brown, home-colored hair--which I think in the hair-coloring world must be one of the most difficult things to do--and it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! The highlights look completely natural--several lighter shades of brown and gold-brown running through from roots to tips. I can't imagine what the results might have been in the hands of someone less experienced or skilled--we couldn't have asked for anything more! read more

Dyanna is absolutely wonderful in cut & color as well as with creative cutting edge styles! I highly recommend her and her pleasant company is a bonus:-) read more

My experience with Dyanna was unlike anything I've experienced. She did a full consultation regarding my cut and color. She has this amazing dryer that isn't the old fashion hood - make you sweat dryer and I wasn't under it very long. My color was perfect without a last minute surprise of needing to use a toner for an extra cost. Cut, color stylist, location - total experience FLAWLESS!!! I wish I could rate infinity stars! Highly recommend and she's my girl from now on after bouncing around place to place the last year. read more

I have tried several hair stylists with no success and decided to go to yelp for help! After reading all of her amazing reviews, I thought I'd give Dyanna a try. I have joined the "I Love Dyanna" Club! She is truly a miracle worker. I had a laundry list of changes I wanted done to my hair and she took it head on! She spent the first 30 min with me discussing my face shape and hair type so that we could figure out what would be best for me. I went in with long, blonde hair halfway down my back and left with a dark, short bob. It was a huge risk but I reaped great rewards. I LOVE IT!! Dyanna is a perfectionist. Because my hair was dead from all of the bleach I had in my hair, she had to do several treatments of filler. No other stylist would have had the patience to make it just right. Above and beyond the amazing cut and color, I appreciated her willingness to connect with me as a person, not just a client. If you are looking for a new stylist, look no further. She truly is amazing! read more
