Everyone was very patient with both my husband (who virtually NEVER wears a suit) and my son, who was four years old at the time and quite busy! Lol. We eloped for our wedding, so this location contacted and made sure we knew where our guys could pick their suits up when we got where we were going! We would go back to them!

We tend to stop as EB often has 36 inseam pants for the long legged Mister but alas, the only ones in the store were in festive "dad jean" styles. I heard her say to another employee, "just make sure to watch closely" while looking in my direction. Not once did she ask if I needed help or if I was looking for something specific. She made me feel extremely uncomfortable. (Mind you I had NOTHING in my hands or even a large jacket on which might indicate I was going to shoplift something..which shouldn't even matter in winter in Wisconsin) While I was checking out she literally stood over my shoulder. The gentleman checking me out appeared annoyed that I was debating between sizes for a gift I was purchasing and seemed more interested on getting my information for their "mailing list" instead of helping with the purchase. I love Eddie Bauer but I'll go to another location from now on.

I've been stressed and worried about finding work elsewhere. Compared to the quality of Brooks Brothers clothing, nothing I had came close. I called and made sure Eric was working, came on over and he was absolutely awesome at helping me out. I told him my needs and my lack of knowledge in the professional business apparel world. He made sure to point out specials/promos they had, gave me excellent advice and comparisons on selections, styles, colors. This was also my first time shopping at any Brooks Brothers. He was kind enough to stay a little past his scheduled time to finish the transaction and take care of me. I came in not confident, stressed, worried about looking good for the interview I had the next day. I left feeling confident and a lot less stressed knowing I had high quality and really good looking professional clothing. During the visit he had to help some other customers and gave them the same level of customer service. Highly highly recommend to anyone needing quality and professional clothing coupled with excellent customer service that is personable.

It was a simple jersey knit, but had a bunch of beaded panels that I wanted removed. The lady helpfully pointed out that without the beading and mesh, the cowl neck of the dress would likely not stay up. She offered to make a back strap out of the mesh to connect the back shoulders, and it came out perfect! I got the simple neckline I was after, without worrying about flashing my whole top half. It wasn't anything I would have thought of on my own, but I so appreciate the advice and wonderful tailoring. Hands down, best tailor ever!

I live in Chicago, but was visiting family and decided to stop at Runaway shoes on the suggestion…read moreof my father. Cheaper sales tax for the win! They were pretty busy for a Saturday morning, so I had to wait a few minutes to be helped, although I was acknowledged right away and the sales associate said she'd help me in a minute. I came in with an idea of what shoes I wanted, and told her so. She took a look at the shoes I currently had and explained they were a different type than what I was looking for, at which point I explained those weren't working for me so I wanted to try something. As the store was busy, two of the sales associates 'tag teamed' working with me, which I didn't mind because both were friendly and I didn't have to keep repeating what I was looking for. They both listened as I explained what worked (and didn't) with my current shoes and what I was looking for in new shoes (I'm coming off a tibial stress fracture, so I need cushioning). I ended up getting the BRAND NEW Brooks Levitate, which they told me was first being offered that day (whoop whoop!). They were also understanding when I explained I was from Chicago and, if there was an issue with the shoes, I likely wouldn't be able to bring them back within the period for returns. They were nice enough to put a note in the system to extend that period until I was up next, as long as the shoes were still in good condition. Overall, they were incredibly helpful and offered good advice in picking out a shoe. I never felt rushed (even though they were busy) or pressured to pick the higher end shoe (I came to that conclusion on my own). Even though I don't live in the area, I'd definitely go back there if I had the chance.

This store is great if you're a new or experienced runner....or like me not a runner.  The sales are friendly, knowledgeable and even saw them handle multiple customers with no problem. The have all kinds of running accessories like socks, shirts, shorts, water bottles....whatever you need they have it. As I walked in, I was immediately greeted by a sales associate.  I told him what I needed, he then had me walk a little bit and stand on something that showed the curve in my foot so he could find the perfect shoe for me.   He brought out several options for me to try, and told me what I should be expecting in a good shoe.  That helped a lot when making my decision. I was there for about 15 minutes and I walked away with a new pair of shoes.  Now I did pay more than I usually would for shoes, but I know I got a good quality of shoes. I hope they will last me for a while.
