Disappointed!!…read more After waiting nine weeks for delivery of my new bedroom furniture - I am disappointed in what was delivered. Quite frankly, I'm also angry. I paid $6500 - on sale - for a 3 piece bedroom set. A bed, a long dresser, and a nightstand. While it seems sturdy and looks lovely at first glance - I was delivered furniture full of insects holes! There are holes from wood boring beetles throughout my furniture. Across the top of dresser and on the sides, across the front on the drawers, on the top of nightstand and sides, on the headboard and footboard, and so on. Every piece that was used to make my bedroom set is damaged from bugs. Also, there is missing stain on the headboard. If I don't keep decorative pillows propped up, it is noticeable. I am so disappointed and feel that I overpaid for what was delivered. I was really looking forward to this set. It was to be the nicest bedroom set I've ever owned. I just moved and didn't move my old set - so I had my mattress/boxspring on the floor for nine weeks and lived out of boxes while waiting for delivery. It was uncomfortable and inconvenient but I thought it would be worth it once my new set was delivered. Then I was delivered a set with obvious evidence of wood boring insect damage. How sturdy is this furniture after it's been infested with wood boring insects?! Wood boring beetles cause disintegration of wood over time. The holes on the outside of the wood are from adult wood boring beetles but the major damage is done by the larvae that bore into the wood, tunneling through and feeding on the wood. The majority of the damage from these insects is in the inside of the wood. Unseen until your furniture starts to disintegrate. The set was custom made. You pick the color and it is stained for you. The wait is so long because you wait for your set to be made. They made my bed with wood that had evidence of insect damage! Was it made with the insects still in the wood?! Where is the attention to detail?! Especially when there is missing stain in a noticeable place. How can this store charge this kind of money for furniture that has insect damage?! That is not what was expected when talk of natural look of wood or natural imperfections in wood were mentioned. I thought I was purchasing quality furniture when I chose Verbarg's for my bedroom furniture. I am disappointed that my bedroom set was delivered with obvious insect damage. Additionally, I am angry that I paid as much as I did for furniture that is not up to par with what the showroom depicts. Make sure that you inspect you furniture closely when it's delivered.

I sent several photos in of rugs, picture, and houseware goods for consideration. Legacies took the rugs and picture. A rug and picture sold. I was told they had too many lamps on my first visit; the second visit they were taken. I received one check and cashed it. When I checked in person to see what else had sold, Donna told me I was to expect another check in the $40 range the first week of November. That was inaccurate. I talked to Stephanie Aldridge, the manager, who tap danced around my issue. I asked her to talk to Donna about the mistake. I asked her for an accounting of what I had sold. She thought I asked about cashing of the first check; that was not the question. I knew the first check came in and it was cashed. She made a mistake and didn't acknowledge it either. She said checks are mailed the first of the month, but to expect them when the mail delivered them. I have one more check for $15 to be delivered in December. Stephanie finally agreed to send me the accountant's statement of date, piece, cost, payment, which should have been sent as a matter of course. This is basic business. One has to keep business transactions straight and accurate. Legacies doesn't contact the customer when anything sells. You have to wait until you receive a check or ask in the store. There is also a $2 charge for every check sent, which is unnecessary, particularly with relatively small payments. I asked Stephanie to let me know when the last date was to sell the remaining rugs. She didn't answer that question. I told her I didn't want the rugs donated and that I would pick them up on the last date. She decided to simply put the rugs in her office and I could pick them up, which I will do. I have done business with a reputable consignment shop for years. They take everything I have because they know it is quality merchandise. I am hardly the only person who has had trouble dealing with Legacies. I suggest you find somewhere else to consign your items.

He was very helpful and provide us with a lot of information about the different options he has. His warehouse is large, but his online selection is even greater. This is the third item we have purchased from here. We bought a couch a few years ago and all of our kitchen cabinets about 8 years ago when we remodeled out kitchen. I have been 100% satisfied with the price, service and quality of all of our purchases. I would look here before any other store. I found this fantastic sectional with a large chaise and we purchased it immediately. I had seen this same exact sofa on marketplace used selling for $600 and this was not much more than that brand new in plastic! We opted to pick it up on Saturday rather than wait to have it delivered. After my husband and BIL picked up the couch and wrestled it through our tiny front door (our house is old. ) I realized that we had two right sides and no left. Something to keep in mind is this sofa has both a right chaise and a left chaise configuration. We got the right area facing chaise and a left area facing sofa. I called and left a message but unfortunately they were already closed for the day. I figured it would be minimum Monday before I could get any resolution due to short working hours on Sunday and needing to rent another truck. Honestly, Sunday was a complete cluster and these guys immediately turned my day around! I ended up needing to take my baby to the hospital and was there all morning. I didn't think I would have time to get this situation resolved as obviously baby comes first. Luckily we got discharged and I called around 12:30 and the man on the phone was so kind. He immediately said he was the only one in the store but he would call his boss and get my situation resolved entirely. By 2 pm these guys found the correct piece, brought it to my house, actually put it in my living room and took the incorrect piece back out. And they did all of this without waking the baby! I am honestly so pleased with the sectional, the options they had available, the value and most importantly the customer service. I can not recommend these guys enough, they have truly won me over as a customer for life.
