They painted the ground, the rocks, our flower beds, hose bibs, etc.. midway through the project they randomly told us they were no longer going to paint our back deck. When we asked them to be more conscientious and considerate of our property, we got a bunch of attitude and aggression from both the painters and their manager Dave. When we brought up our issues to the owner, Matthew, we got the same angry/aggressive response as if we were in the wrong for speaking up. I don't know too many companies that stay in business by bullying and gaslighting their customers, but these guys are certainly trying!

They came out, provided an estimate and stated that the owner thought that the hot water heaters from Hughes Plumbing Supply in Cottonwood were better than anything from HD. November 1, Bobby installed the new hot water heater and did a great job with the flooring repair. Couldn't wait for the first shower! Only to have not hot water. Okay, wait until the next day giving it plenty of time to heat. Still minimal hot water. VVH sent several technicians, finally determining the fault to be the heater itself. This was where my concern for having one responsible party paid off! VVH replaced the defective heater with a different brand, at no additional cost to me. I asked who he was and he gave me his employer's business card and told me to call him about repairing the water damage to the ceiling in my laundry room I told him about. Long story short, I contacted Bill Ralston who was at my house, pen and paper in hand, ready to prepare an estimate of the cost. After inspecting the damage and listening to my expectations and requirements, he provided me with a written estimate via email in a couple of days. He began the work when he said he would and he completed iit within a reasonable period of time taking into consideration the need for additional work that was discovered after he began which he alerted me about beforehand. Bill and his primary employee, Dave are both trustworthy, dependable individuals which are difficult to find in the construction and contracting business. I understand that Ralston does everything from new construction to repair work like I needed. I have dealt with a variety of contractors and subs in Sedona and Ralston Construction is the best I have ever found.

Jeremy, the owner, came out and gave a recommendation, which included a diverter and roof maintenance. Cody, an employee for Hahn, subsequently came out and found the source of leaking into the brick wall. He fixed that promptly. He also did maintenance for my entire roof, and caulked and fixed other aspects of my metal roof. He's extremely capable. Despite this, because again the way my roof drained, there was water coming over my flashing and hitting my window. At this point, a gutter recommendation was given. After the gutters were installed, there hasn't been any problem whatsoever. I will give a separate review of the gutters (On The Edge Gutters). I highly recommend Hahn's roofing.

We contacted Tile, Perfected about replacing the tile on our front porch. (A previous owner had…read moreinstalled slate and it was cracking and splintering in several areas.). Tony responded to my call the same day and came out to take a look at the job. He recommended that we consider a porcelain tile which would stand up better to the freeze and thaw cycles (vs slate). He also suggested that we consider finishing off the front-facing (vertical edge) of the porch with a metal trim piece and tile extending to the ground. This was something that no one else had recommended. Tony, and his assistant Alex, did a meticulous job of removing the old slate, grinding down the old adhesive until the surface was completely flat. They also sealed some cracks that had appeared under the old slate. They were very meticulous about laying the new tile. The tile installation came out better than we imagined, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The communication throughout the project was very good and Tony was very pleasant to work with. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the communication, quality of work, attention to detail, and the cleanup . If you are looking for a high-quality tile installation, be sure to check them out !
