He was professional, personable, and very knowledgeable about the roofing shingles he installs (Owens Corning) and very detailed on his installation procedures and how he backs his workmanship and his future availability to respond to any questions or problems. Problem is, once he completed our roof installation, he collected his check and despite my numerous attempts to contact him via telephone and email, he has completely ghosted us. The reason I needed to follow up with him is there are three elements of our contract he has yet to complete. My fault, I know better but I paid him before all the work was completed. Part of the contract was his obligation to file our warranty with Owens Corning. I called Owens Corning and they have no record of Jason filing the paperwork. I believe his roofing crew did a good job on my roof installation, but I'm very disappointed that he walked away without completing all elements of our contract and now refuses to return my calls or respond to my emails. I will also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Home X Remodeling was contracted with Lowe's and I got a call from Mr. Franciso the scheduler from…read morehome X Remodeling to schedule the cabinet installation Mr. Franciso told us, 1- the installer will come Friday October 20/2023 and since they are not working on Saturday and Sunday the installer will come Friday, Monday and Tuesday to finish the installation of cabinets, 2- they were at my condo on Thursday instead of Friday and since I was there I let them in to start the job. 3-On Friday we got a call from Mr. Stuardo Gordo the installer boss saying they will not come on Friday I understood since they were at my condo on Thursday. 4- Monday October 23, they came and finished floor cabinet installation till 5pm and left the 3 remaining wall cabinets to be installed on Tuesday since I am in high rise condo, and they can only work from 9-5pm 5- We were expecting the installer to come Tues. as the scheduling person Mr. Franciso said they will finish the job on Tuesday, then the installer told me they are not to come on Tuesday I called Mr. Stuardo Gordo their boss why they are not coming on Tuesday to finish the 3 remaining wall cabinets, he was so rude, disrespectful and said they are wasting the time if they come for just couple of hours to finish installing the 3 remaining wall cabinets, he said they have another job (installing the 3 remaining wall cabinets) was not a job for them? Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait for countertop installation which takes 3-4 weeks so they can come and finish the remaining 3 wall cabinets, he did not let me finish and hung up on me. Am I to deal with the mess around my condo since everything is in boxes all around the place for 3-4 weeks just to get the 3 remaining wall cabinets to be installed? I do not understand why wall cabinets have to do anything with countertop for floor cabinets. I know countertop takes 3-4 weeks to be measured and fabricated but Mr. Stuardo said we have to wait till the countertop to be installed meaning I have to wait another 4 weeks then he did not let me talk and hung up on me. Again, I told him and his boss Mr. Franciso the countertop installation has nothing to do with wall cabinet. I am very upset Mr. Franciso said talk to Lowe's since we are contracted with them. The Home X Remodeling crew are very disrespectful and rude. DO NOT work with these people as they are not on time, they do not care for customers. They created very bad experience and frustration for us. If you are thinking about working with Home X Remodeling, think twice before you hire them. Also I will let Lowe's know what company they are contracting with since Lowe's reputation is on line and important as well. Never recommend Home X remodeling anybody.

We hired Kingston to remodel an upstairs bathroom that had developed a leaking problem. The remodel…read morewas total. The room was gutted down to its beams. Plumbing had to be replaced and reconfigured to move it from the right well to the left; we wanted a bathtub to replace the ancient standing shower; it took us forever to pick a vanity; we wound up choosing hardware that required specialised installation & nothing in that bathroom had been updated for about 20 years. Austin, Moira & Carlos at Kingston guided our selections, problem-solved as issues came up, kept up a steady flow of communication & all in all, delivered a gorgeous result for a reasonable price. Moira, the Director of Operations, was especially instrumental in translating our hopes into reality. What we had when this project started was a tired, leaky, non-functional butter yellow & turquoise late 70's/earlyspace with a useless dividing wall that made the room look smaller then it is. After about 7 weeks what we had instead was a beautiful modern bath with sharply contemporary hardware, a soothing grey color scheme with gleaming porcelain tiles, annoying partial wall removed & an elegant, deep bathtub that surprisingly fit into the small amount of space we had to work with, our starkly modern design scheme *and* our budget. The construction team was good about keeping us up to date about schedule changes. They were polite & professional & took good care of our home while they worked here. We're planning our next project.. The kitchen.. & Kingston is top of the list of companies we'd consider for the job. We've recommended them to friends & neighbors & enjoy the results of their hard work every day.

Top notch customer service and friendly staff!!…read more We did a complete house renovation and the kitchen renovation was almost completely off schedule when we couldn't get our regular team in to install our kitchen; but we found a new contractor and then came the counter top selection and install; we were looking at another 6 week wait with another company and our new contractor recommended Star aster another company quoted us an absolutely astronomical price for the same name brand counter!! My wife called ahead and we showed up to the show room, went to the back to pick a giant slab and look at a couple other pieces to make sure we had picked the one that would work best for us. It was a very simple and easy process. We went back inside to Isaac's office, completed the paperwork and were in an out quickly. They kept us up to date, cut our under mount sink hole, we're flexible with our installation date as we waited for our appliances to be delivered. The installation was great! Turns out one of the walls isn't straight (of course it isn't) but they quickly adjusted and made sure we had a flush fit and cut the holes for our faucet and soap dispenser. We are so happy to have found Star and will use them for any future projects (along with recommending them). I'm glad we didn't look at the reviews first or I probably would have overlooked them... so if your on the fence or looking for a counter company look no further!!

He promised a quote within a few days. A week went by, and he was still working on it. Then, after two weeks of waiting and requesting it again along the way of the wait, he became unresponsive. While Isaac presented as 100% professional, his being unresponsive despite previous promises is unprofessional and cost us much valuable time. If this is how proactive someone is before they have my money, I do not want to know how it would be after I drop money, and I am fully committed. I am sure Isaac/ Star Marble and Granite do great work, at least sometimes, but this sequence of events was unacceptable, despite him having many opportunities to respond via text and phone. If someone does not follow up when they say they will--that's a huge red flag to find a responsive contractor. I am very glad I did not work with Star Marble and Granite in retrospect, as I used IAP Home Improvements, and they did a superb job in every aspect and at a great price.
