Best strawberry milkshake ever. Delicious shredded chicken sandwiches and very friendly staff. Love the stop on the way to the lake.

Go there and get any Flurry and the amount of whatever candy you want in it will be almost enough to make you puke, it's glorious!

This place is like an old a&w but better, food is good and was served fresh. Prices are extremely…read morereasonable especially for the quality. Restaurant was clean and the staff very friendly. If you are nearby or even traveling past the area on I-71 it's worth the side trip to eat here. This is the same kinda place you would hang out at after school or on the weekends to meet girls after piling into your friend's hot rod and cruising around. A true American experience that has largely disappeared from the landscape, but this one is still here at least.

We were obviously missing something to not give 4-5 stars to this joint like nearly everyone else…read moredid - 2 stars for the hot dogs and foot long we ordered .. we were the only 2 people in this place during peak lunch hours so we should have known better .. we ordered 2 items to be deep fried and 1 lady had to tell the other to turn on the fryer since she had not done it yet .. ok .. no biggie .. as soon as it heated up we could smell how old it was and a "fishy" smell was also coming from the cooking area .. a guy had walked in to place a to go order so I was hoping maybe he had ordered the fish sandwich .. it was not to be .. our 2 fried items tasted like fish .. while we do enjoy a good fish sandwich we did not enjoy onion rings and a corn dog tasting of fish .. gross .. into the trash those went .. the overall look if the place is awful .. not to mention just grimy looking .. the entire interior needs to be scrubbed down with a big soapy brush .. too bad .. we so looked forward to checking this place out and finally had a weekday off to do so since they are closed on Saturday and Sunday .. but NEVER AGAIN

Kind of torn between 3 and 4 stars, but going to sit with 3 on this one…read more Place is beyond clean! I didn't know what to expect, but it is cleaner than most places out there. I wondered how many seats would be inside after I watched a long line around the building in the drive thru, but there was enough for a decent group of people. Pricing doesn't seem out of control by any means. Four of us at for 40 bucks. Hot dog wise: I was a bit underwhelmed. There were smaller than expected for a hot dog place and while the mac and cheese dog was good, it wasn't anything over the top at all. Now, if you are a fry eater, this is the place to go. I ordered a regular order of hot fries and they filled an entire plate. I was hoping for better flavor since it seemed like a "specialty" of theirs, but honestly it tasted like any normal type table hot sauce. Even so, if you like fries, you will get a lot of them! Glad we went and if needing something quick, we would go again!

Great fries! I will…read morestart by saying I am not a hot dog eater but since they have reopened I have been wanting to give it a try. They have a menu with a lot of choices other than hot dogs. Chicken, wraps, salad, fish sandwiches, burgers, and lots of ice cream and slushee choices. Prices seem reasonable and food was made quickly. The new restaurant is very clean and had a similar layout to the past restaurant. You order upon entering and then seat yourself. They call your name when the food is ready. We had an issue with an item in our order but they were quick to fix it.

What so quintessentially says "summertime" like a hotdog cart? Al and his wife are as passionate…read moreabout customer service as they are about serving a great product, and they care so much about their product that they carefully source only the best, Midwestern-produced ingredients. Sure, other hot dogs might be cheaper, but they only serve Koegel Vienna franks, produced in Flint, MI. Likewise, other potato chips might be more profitable to sell, but they only carry Ballreich's chips, made locally in Tiffin, OH. Now Al might not tell you where he gets some of his amazing ingredients, like the neon green relish that makes his Chi Dawg so authentically Chicago, but you can sure taste the quality difference! Our family has been running into the Weenie Dawgs cart for years, especially on weekends at Mary Jane Thurston State Park in Grand Rapids, or on Wednesdays at the Bowling Green farmer's market. As one might expect, we all have different favourites: mine is the Chi Dawg, my son loves the Juan Hot Mama Dawg with the spicy Koegel sausage, my wife prefers the Detroit Dawg, while one daughter goes with the vegetarian dawg and the other the Texas Dawg. So no matter your interest, Weenie Dawgs probably has a dog for you! PROS: very friendly staff, very good food, and reasonable prices CONS: being a food truck, they can be challenging to locate Overall I rate Weenie Dawgs as being Very Good, and look forward to finding them again!
