Tasty breakfasts and pies. Nice waitress and good prices! We really liked the pancakes!

UD is a must try diner! Service is top notch and the food is on point, whether it's breakfast lunch or dinner. Don't skip the pies!

Lunch was good. Hot dog and chicken sandwich along with fries. Great selection of desserts. Friendly staff.

Rude employees food was frozen and pancakes where box made, all together awful experience

GREAT food Outstanding service Price appropriately Good ole home cooking, fills the belly and puts a smile on your face. read more

It's another great day at the UD. Today's food was a "make your own omelette" served up with the service of a friendly smile in the ambiance of a warm, comfortable & unpretentious locale. All the good things & none of the bad here. Thanks folks & keep up the good work! read more

One of the owners was amazing when I had a complaint. So sorry for the bad review if it posted. Great food. Don't take in coffee from outside. Now I know. read more

Great service and yummy food! Never had a bad breakfast from there yet! They have great specials as well and I love the pie.

Their slogan is "Home for Home Cooking". We enjoyed a very good supper and dessert at Uncle Dudley's and the prices were very reasonable! If ever in the area, we would stop again! Be aware that they close at 7:00 pm. read more

Uncle Dudley's Restaurant & Catering - Menu - American Near Me - Willard, Ohio

Tried this place with the new owners. We ordered 1/2 order of onion rings with ranch to dip them in. We ordered two specials with cabbage rolls and 2 soft drinks. Appetizer: We received the 1/2 order of onion rings which were small in size and no ranch. The waitress said she would be back with the ranch to which she never brought it to the table. The taste was good, but would have been better with the ranch that we ordered. The home fries were good and the cabbage rolls were very hot and a good portion size. The cabbage rolls were bland in taste (no taste), definitely need to have seasoning added. The soft drink glasses need to have larger straws as you have to keep grabbing your straws to raise it out of the glass to take a drink. I appreciate having a napkin dispenser on the table, however, it is difficult to get napkins out of the dispenser. Maybe just need another type of napkin or dispenser to solve this problem. The place finally received a facelift on the inside. The inside received a much need remodeling job and looks very nice and seems bigger with removing the wall and salad bar. Will try the place again to see if there are improvements with food and service. read more

Best breakfast in town - and it's served all day!!Just hope that Mollie is your waitress because she'll be your friend for life!! Not to mention, their entire team of waitresses are phenomenal. Uncle Dudley's Burgers are probably the best, hands-down, in the whole county. Their perch sandwiches are great too. And Be sure to come for all-you-can-eat wing nights. Make sure you bring cash or a checkbook because you'll be washing dishes if you plan to pay with a card. ;-) read more

Had a small wait, staff was friendly, prices are unbelievable (in a good way). Tip, bring cash!

Staff is awesome. Fabulous prices. Large portions. Coffee is fair. Food is basic good. Casual and clean.

Eating at Uncle Dudley's was one of the most fascinating culinary experiences I have ever had. Previously, I could only imagine that places like this existed. Stepping into the restaurant at almost 2 PM on a weekday, the place was hopping. The clientele appeared to be made up entirely of regulars, and our entrance had in my mind the effect of a record scratch. We were told to sit anywhere, and a waitress brought a couple of menus after a bit of a delay. Judging from the menu cover, Uncle Dudley apparently does clown gigs on the side. My wife ordered one of the sandwiches whose meaning was unknown to us before trying: pizza steak. This innovative masterpiece featured a large piece of pepperoni smashed onto the bottom of a beef patty, with a dollop of mozzarella cheese inside. There may have been some sausage mixed in with the ground beef. It was truly a genius hybrid sandwich, although my wife described the burger as "horrible." The waitress seemed confused by my question of whether pizza steak is a thing around here, or if it is unique to Uncle Dudley's. She did end up stating that she thought you could get it at some Amish farm stores around, but had never seen it on another restaurant menu. Another menu mystery was the "hot beef spot" sandwich. Yet another curiosity was "fish square," although I had a good guess what this meant. I ordered the perch, which was mostly delicious except that the breading had the consistency of fine gravel, and the tartar sauce was an unexplainable yellow color. I got curly fries with it, which were bland and underseasoned. Undeterred by the main course, I asked for the dessert options, and the waitress rattled off an impressive list of pies, including one final cryptic item: possum pie. Apparently, this is a mixture of chocolate pudding and cream cheese on a graham cracker crust. I ordered the peach pie. The peaches had the fun texture and perfectly smooth surface that can only come from a can. It lacked peach flavor but managed to be outdone by the blandness of the curst. But really, any criticisms aside, this place is exactly the kind of place you want to go to if you want to experience the vibe a small-town U.S. diner. Uncle Dudley can come be the entertainment at one of my kid's birthdays. He can tell us stories about what he likes to do in Willard, Ohio. Just don't make us any pizza steaks. read more

Great hometown diner. Cash only, but this is a staple in the willard community. Give it a shot!

Nothing fancy about this place when you pull up. When we first got there we thought it might be closed. When we walked inside, the place was packed...I think this was about the only food place in Willard. The wait staff was very friendly. The food was pretty good...it looked as if it everything was home made. I had the 3 piece chicken meal. It came with choice of potato (but no baked or mashed....couldn't figure that one out) and two sides. I ended up getting home fries for the potato...definitely not from a bag, but just a little too greasy for my taste. The chicken was pretty good. The meal was very inexpensive and the food was above average. Not a bad place read more

Really good food. And lots of it. Just the typical down home diner. The sides are somewhat limited but after all this is not a fancy restaurant. I will definitely be coming back. read more

Dudley's earns 5 stars for the pies alone. They are truly as advertised... home-made... and by the same lady. The variety changes daily. You can buy a slice or the whole pie. You can even special order pies. Once when my sister was visiting from California, she called a couple days ahead and ordered an elderberry pie. OMG, was it good. The interior of the restaurant is really quite drab and could sure benefit from a makeover. read more

I've heard about this place for years, and never was very interested in going there...I was missing out! They have REALLY GREAT food!! And the prices are even better than the food!! Not the greatest "ambiance" (if that's what you're looking for, but the staff is friendly enough and helpful. I'd recommend to try any time! (never have tried the catering, just the diner). read more
