No lettuce on bar, chicken was not quit done, so called chicken noodles were little noodles in broth, very little on bar to have been 11:30. No lettuce,did not see any fruit, no meatloaf, really disappointing. Not on my list of places to eat. Sorry but if this was a buffet at $14. I could of ate more for less somewhere else..and not have left wanting something to eat. If I was me I would expend the bar or close it down and do menu and or a small salad bar. read more

Headed north and was looking for a cafe to grab lunch. This was out in the middle nowhere but worth the extra couple miles. My hubs had the Beef Manhattan and it was outstanding. Heaping plateful, using homemade bread, real slow roasted tender beef and creamy mashed potatoes. Inexpensive- he thought he was hungry and wanted a full order (you can get half) and he took some home. I got the buffet which had their fried chicken, shrimp, a plethora of homemade side dishes. Very tasty. The salad bar was good too. The ingredients were chopped so I didn't have to end up cutting my salad fixings. After seeing this restaurant on Facebook quite a bit, I decided to finally make the drive to check this place out. They are in the middle of Amish country. It's a little hard to see from the road, as they share a building with an Amish furniture store. Once I found it and went inside, it was very clear of where you are. There were several folks from the Amish community gathered around, as it seems this must be a hangout spot for people nearby. I ordered the lunch buffet. The food was very good and definitely homemade! They had fried fish on the bar, which was crispy and flavorful. All the sides were tasty, as was the fried chicken. Had been wanting to try this restuaraunt for a while so when I happened to be in the area on a rainy Saturday morning after Thanksgiving I decided to give it a try. I wasn't overly hungry so I decided to go a little lighter. I ordered the cream cheeses stuffed French toast with strawberry topping. It arrived with its strawberry topping and a generous dollop of whipped cream on top. As beautiful as it was presented the taste did not disappoint. The cream cheese filling was just the right consistency and the strawberry topping was a perfect compliment to the dish. Overall the experience was what you would want on a rainy Saturday. Good food at a reasonable priced. To top it off the wait staff was very efficient and friendly. It was so good that I happened to be in the area the next Saturday and decided to try something different. I came this time with more of an appetite so I decided on the Western Omlette with a side of hashbrowns and homeade toast. The omlette on the outside looked very appetizing but when I cut into it I was pleasantly surprised by how gooey and juicy the cheese was along with the chopped ham, onions, peppers tomatoes and mushrooms. Usually these omelettes tend to be dry inside but this one tasted especially fresh and as I said, juicy! I highly recommend this if you happen to visit! Overall I reccomend this place if you are looking for good old fashioned American comfort breakfast food at a good value. Who knows you might just run into someone you know. read more

Every time I get home with my order something is wrong. I ordered a loaded cheeseburger and it doesn't even have ketchup on it! Nothing at all! Plus when I order my to go order they say it'll be 20 minutes. I give them 30 because I know it won't be ready. I get there and they haven't even started cooking it yet. Then they give me my order minus the shrimp platter. they didn't even notice it wasn't in the bag. I hate leaving negative reviews for local places. But I just want a complete and accurate order. read more
