Plenty of stores to choose from clothes to high-tech products, and of course food. A restaurant called 110 Grill is open and the Village Restaurant Pancake Factory (owned also in Pleasant Valley). Many stores come and go over time, which makes it difficult to find what's needed and for enjoyment. The anchor stores hold a shine to this day except for JCPenney and Sears which closed, bringing some less traffic. New stores have opened recently involving a lot of entertainment activities for kids and young adults, such as the Space Adventure Mini Golf course featuring arcades. With more openings happening, I see the Galleria still being a busy mall in the next several years or so, but the vibe has changed so much compared to the mid-late 20th century.

The most recent closures have been Kmart, Burlington, and Silver Cinemas (which all had a long run for many years) along with smaller space stores at the new strip mall. There have been some opening of stores in series, but I do know for a fact that some spaces haven't even opened up yet since The Shoppes at South Hills existed. The costs are probably really high, making it challenging for these businesses to open. I believe the location off Route 9 doesn't have the best visibility since it's up on a hill to make it a success. There are not that many stores to offer, but with enough open now, it can still be the potential to last for many years, just in a slow process. The opening of At Home Furniture Decor is set to open soon in the former Kmart space. Why not check out a mall when you have never been to one and see all the changes and what to offer. There's plenty of parking space in the front and back of the mall and was not hard to find, and a lot of empty ones. The lines need to be repainted as it's desperately needed. Stepping inside was no joke, a dead mall. Most or not many of the stores are closed even with big brand names such as FYE, The Bon Ton, Old Navy, and Kay Jewelers to name a few. I don't see in the future of new stores making their debut to open, if so, maybe some entertainment places. I'd say within a couple or more years it will be fully dead. No issues with the bathrooms and housing keeping in the main hallway, just a sad place to be with many closed stores.
