Linda and her groomers saved my little bichon's life! They always report any little thing they find on my 2 dogs, including hot spots, minor scrapes or infections, etc. Recently Linda reported finding 3 VERY tiny lumps on Bijou's tummy that I had never noticed. The vet removed a cluster of 7 very small tumors & lab reports were that they were malignant, but had not invaded her mammary glands. Her prognosis is excellent & I can't thank Linda enough for bringing this to my attention early! My 2 bichons have been going to Dutch Touch for about a year & I've always been pleased with the kind of care and attention they get, and after a few adjustments to the early hairstyles, they look gorgeous. Dutch Touch is very popular because their rates are lower than most groomers & they do a great job. Each time I visit, I get an appointment card for the next grooming, & if given enough notice, Linda's quite cooperative in changing an appointment. Dutch Touch has been our groomer for over 16 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Five Golden Retrievers, three at a time right now and one little Cavachon. They are very busy because they are very good. Some reviewers express frustration with getting in. It seems these are the people who are inflexible. If you want an appointment here you'll need to fit in their busy schedule. Do you want to go to a groomer that isn't busy? Think about it. The dogs love the open concept and getting to play with their friends. My dogs always look fabulous and they love going. Also the staff is very diligent about pointing out any abnormalities they may find so that we can decide if they need the attention of the Veterinarian. read more

Edited to add: We've been coming here for about 4 years now, and have moved to Tustin, but still drive to bring our Wheaten Terrier here. The prices are SO affordable--I've looked at other places and most will charge me double because of his hair. They know him by name, and my dog loves coming here because he gets to play too. I know some other reviewers complained about being able to get in, but that should speak how popular this place is. Customers who have been coming here stay customers for years, so it's tough to get in and get a spot, but once you're in, it's wonderful. They do have some Saturdays open, but again, you need to call way in advance to snag an appointment. Dutch Touch is awesome! My Wheaton Terrier has been coming here for almost three years now. Even when we moved to Irvine, we still take him to Dutch Touch. The staff is really good with pets and they know him by name. I highly recommend. Their prices are also very competitive and affordable. You do have to schedule in advance though because they book up fast--it's because they're so popular! read more

I've heard great things from neighbors about this place, so I decided to give it a try. Today I made my second attempt to make an appointment at Dutch Touch, but the woman who has called me back both times seems to be unconcerned with having me as a customer. The first time I called she informed me that her next available appointment was four weeks away. In four weeks my Bichon Frise would have been mistaken for a giant cotton ball instead of a dog. Today I called to make an appointment, but had to leave a message like at most other places. It only took a few hours to get a call back, which was a pleasant surprise. In my message I let them know my work hours and informed them that I would like to either drop my dog off before work or at lunch, and that I would be able to pick him up whenever he was done. When the person, who I believe to be the owner, called me back the first thing she said other than "is this Megan?" was "we're not going to be able to work with your schedule." Blunt and straight to the point. Feeling a bit desperate to get into this place my friends have been raving about I asked if I could drop him off at lunch since she said that before work was too early. She then informed me that all dogs are dropped off between 9 and 10 am. No exceptions I guess :/. It's the age old question. Do I really want to be a part of that club if they don't want me? read more

Would give ten stars! We just came home from Kismet's first grooming with Linda and Jenny, and I could not be happier. THANK YOU. I am so impressed by the care they gave my 2.5 year old Cock-a-poo-doodle (rescue dog), as if Kissy was their own dog. I read all the reviews first too, and am thrilled to add another FIVE STAR endorsement here. The place is SPOTLESS, with lots of fresh air, and the dogs look really happy to be there. Kissy's summer cut is gorgeous (!) and she did not want to leave! That was never my experience with other groomers here in the OC nor in LA. Kissy was totally relaxed from the moment Linda scooped her up lovingly as I shared my vet notes with them this morning. They listened and when I came to pick up Kissy, Linda shared details of the grooming and reminded me to let her know if I want anything different in the cut next time around. I really appreciate their consideration to make Kissy feel comfortable, and to make sure I am satisfied with the outcome. THIS WAS A GREAT CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE, for me and Kissy! My Lil Inga, a long haired dachshund, was in serious need for a grooming, so the other day I searched for groomers near my office. Low and behold right down the street this secret treasure. Before making an appointment I physically went to scope out the place. A small, quaint room is what you first walk in to where the friendly owner, Linda, is there to greet you. I asked her prices and she gave me her reasonable price and then showed me her back facility. All the dogs in the back were so happy. She doesn't crate or cage them so they mingle around and interact with each other. Behind where they groom is an outdoor area with even more space for the dogs to roam. I love that you can see the dogs, they don't take them into some back room dungeon like most places. She was able to fit Inga into her schedule but heads up, it usually takes 2 weeks, she books quickly. I dropped her off at 9:30 and picked her up at 2:50, and my oh my......Inga looked GORGEOUS and was very happy. I highly recommend Dutch Touch for the price and they way Linda and staff take care of the dogs. read more

I have had two cocker spaniels groomed for several years by Linda. I will agree with the other reviews that Linda runs a very tight ship, she is not flexible on her drop/off and pick up hours and she seems rather curt at times. However, she is incredible with animals. During my 14+ year relationship with Linda, I left for a short time out of frustration in search of a more flexible and customer service oriented experience and what I got were really, really, really bad grooming jobs. So I'm back with Linda and will never leave. read more

I will never go back there the worst experience ever. The owner runs the place like a military camp. Initially she made it difficult to get an appt. I had to wait weeks to get in just because I had to reschedule one time. She was very admit that she wanted the dogs there between 8-10am and picked up no later than 3:30. She was extremely difficult to work with and was not friendly at all. I feel if she is that way to me how would she treat my dog. I would never ever recommend anyone to go there. There are a lot of groomers out there and no one she be spoken to the way she spoke to me ever! read more

Went through many dog groomers before finding this one! I have a small 5 lbs Maltese and very particular where I take her. They do a great job at a reasonable price. I really like that they let the dogs wander around instead of caging them. My dog always come a bit tired from playing. They often work around my schedule if I'm not able to make it. I have been going there for years. read more
