I haven't had a Dutch brother coffee in a couple years (reason being, there hasn't been one where I've lived in a while) but, I was looking for a coffee beverage and I spotted one on my route. The drive through was especially amazing in this situation because it was beyond cold outside. Although I was about 3 cars back from the actual serving window, I was greeted by super kind fellow who was all bundled up, asking me which beverage I wanted--digitally placing my order. Within no time, I was at the pick up window and again, greeted by two super friendly gals, who made some friendly small talk (asking me how my day was going + thanked me for choosing to stop by Dutch bros...), handed me my almond milk latte and I was on my way. I was at a little dog event nearby before things started to lock down again and was desperate for coffee ... Dutch brothers was the closest place so I came through the drive through. The line was super long, which I took as a good sign, but when the gal that was walking to all of the cars to take orders told me "we don't do fancy stuff like that" when I asked if they could do a flat white I should have gotten out of the drive through line and gone somewhere else. Flustered, I just asked for regular coffee, black. When I got up to the window for my drink, I note that they indeed appear to be making "fancy stuff" (ie, espresso). What the heck? I drove off with my brewed coffee, which turned out to be weak. Not an enjoyable experience in any way. read more

Let me say that I am a HUGE DB fan. Today I took a friend that had never been before and it was awful. I gave my visit 2 stars because it was not even as good as a basic coffee place experience. I never have anything negative to say about Dutch Bros. I love the coffee with all my heart and I love the company even more. The work they do in their communities is amazing and the employee atmosphere makes me wonder why more businesses don't use their business model. Reading the reviews other Yelpers posted about this location made me feel confused. They think the broistas asking about their day or what they're doing comes off as too much. Which is actually really sad because it should seem like they are genuine. Its part of the company motto. When I arrived the music was quiet and no one asked me about my day. There was no one in line and only two people working. I have never been to ANY other Dutch Bros and there wasn't a line. It seems like people of Loveland don't understand what Dutch is about. To the people who wrote reviews when this place just opened- please go back and try it again. If its too sweet for you, then yes, thats Dutch. If you think the people are too happy (yes, someone actually said that) then I feel sad for you. I feel sad for the whole location. The dude who took my order seemed kinda defeated. Like he wanted to make small talk with me but it was discouraged. I feel like the Franchisee needs to get involved in this store. This yelp account hasn't even been claimed by the business. The Dutch Bros website didn't have this location listed a couple weeks ago but its been open since June. It was very disheartening seeing that the Dutch model maybe isn't working in Loveland. So I used to be obsessed with Starbucks, I even worked there for 3 years. Let me tell you this place is 1000 times better than Starbucks. I absolutely love Dutch bros specifically this location. The ENTIRE staff is fantastic and always super friendly! Now to the drinks, they ALWAYS make our drinks right. I have been going to Dutch Bros for a while now and was on my way through Loveland and decided to stop and grab a drink. I ordered a White Chocolate Cold Brew, it's my staple go to when I go to the Fort Collins location so I figured I'd order it here as well. I was instead given a white chocolate iced latte. The large difference is one is milk based and with espresso and white mocha flavored. The other is cold brew flavored with white mocha. Huge difference taste wise and $$$. On the days i'm not working I go here at least once a day. It's even across town.... Don't care. Gotta 'Dutch my bros" Also have a rule in the car with my wife and friends.... If I cross 34 at any time in loveland I gotta stop... This rule can't be broken. The person who notices the rule is about to be broken gets their drink bought for them. There's also the very common double dutch.... Getting an iced coffee and an iced green tea because you can't decide which one you want more and you don't want to go back when you run out of the first. Hahaha.... Ok so some things to try.... Kicker is great, Irish cream and coffee, Or if you want to change that one up a bit get the nutty irishman which has hazelnut and irish cream. Also a big fan of the annihilator which is chocolate hazelnut or something of the like. On to the tea.... OMG the tea. Their green tea is great, It's smooth and has a citrusy taste to it. I love it plain but also quite commonly get it flavored. One of my favorites is the eclipse, also mango or grapefruit are worth a try for sure. If you want sugar free flavoring I really like the strawberry coconut. Their black tea is also really good.. Vanilla flavor to it but the green tea is my go to. And lastly the employees... They are all fantastic! Always cheerful and super friendly! They always make sure you have a pleasant wait and are all fun to chat with while waiting for your drinks. They seem to do a really good job of hiring friendly and interesting people. They have also got stuff down now.... They get my order right less than 1/2 the time. The music is super loud which makes it hard for the employees to hear the order. Also, the customer may not be in the mood for super loud obnoxious music. One time one of the employees was screaming along with the lyrics HORRIBLY!!! It was so annoying and she was so loud!! Despite being fairly excited to try this coffee chain for the first time, I was sorely disappointed. I used the walk up window and could barely order over the extremely loud music blaring in the tiny shack stuffed to the brim of what appeared to be way too many immature high schoolers off for the summer. No one was wearing a uniform. All the 'bakery goods' were prepackaged and 'displayed' in the cardboard boxes that they were originally shipped in, and then just shoved at the top of the refrigerator behind the counter. I asked if any of the drinks could be made into their signature 'Freeze' drink, but apparently that is not the case. I ordered a sugar free Annihilator with coconut milk and the entire drink separated, liquid from ice. I was forced to throw it out because I simply could not drink it. This place has amazing staff and great drinks (which by the way are also totally customizable). Dutch Bros is an all around awesome environment that is very family friendly. There are tables outside coupled with heating lamps that turn on at night and create a pleasant environment. The crew seems to be happy and is sure to be found dancing on most days. I quit going to Starbucks drive-thrus that coached me about having my money ready at the window and ordering "food first" rather than offering service with a smile and a little patience. When we lived in the Phoenix area, Dutch Brothers was part of my daily routine. I was so excited when I found out they were coming to Loveland. Unfortunately, I'm not quite as excited about it anymore. Their specialty coffee drinks are too sweet, so I go with the rebel drinks. Which they get right maybe half the time. I found the coffee to be good here. I tried the kicker, which is an Irish creme flavored latte. It has a thick texture which I was told was a breve mix added with the flavor. Okay. My real complaint here is the annoying way the children who work here have been taught to interact with the customers. "Are you having fun today? What are you doing for the weekend? That's my favorite drink!" Don't go here prior to having had a coffee so you can deal with all the "Happy, happy!".
