To start, if you want a good coffee in South FoCo, this is the spot. Their blended drinks are always delicious and 10x better than a Starbucks Frap. You can also bring your dog in with you and get a Pup-Cup of whipped cream, my retriever loves them! Though, their prices are definitely high. Unreasonably so and higher compared to other coffee shops. They also definitely skimp on things sometimes. Ie. If there is excess drink left in the blender after it's blended and poured, they won't let you have it even though you paid for the drink. Regarding the service, it is definitely hit or miss. This location has a rotating staff and some of them (mostly the younger ones) are kind, friendly, and have a great energy. Though this is only about 50% of the time, sometimes you get stuck with someone whose service is not great, then they want you to tip on an already expensive drink.... If you're in the area and need a good coffee but don't want to support Starbucks, then this is a good spot. But just be ready to break the bank! read more

Popped in here today for my first time ever. I have not been in a dazbog to my knowledge. My scouts were having a meeting at the library and I was hoping for a warm drink after a day of x country skiing. The location was good. Near the library and a slew of other businesses. The employees were friendly. I mentioned that i had not been in before and they were more than happy to answer questions. I thought it was great they had a bin of dog treats at the line to order. That gives bonus points in my book. Even though i didn't have my pups with me. I ordered my herbal peppermint tea. Which was what i had stopped in for. And picked up a couple of gluten free breads. one for my daughter. I was happy with my experience and if i were in the area again and wanted a tea i would definitely be back. read more

I tired the Mexican latte, and it was amazing. The service was good and the employees seem like fun and really sweet.

Prices are very high. $5 each for a small muffin, $6 for gluten free Outrageous Breads. I thought they were only high near the college. $5 for croissant may be reasonable. These were closed for 2 years during Covid. That said, this location is pleasant in Summer when the garage doors can be open. The music is very loud inside. May be hard to read. read more

I have been to some Dazbog's where it's eh and others that I really like. This is one of the locations that I like. I really like where they are located in the Council Tree shopping center. For me what really decides if I am going to like a Dazbog is location, location, location! I have another which I like even more in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Denver. I do enjoy their coffee but I have learned a hard lesson on not getting any of their really sweet coffee drinks. I have had these kinds of drinks before and have had stomach aches after wards. They are just too rich and sweet. I like their pastries relatively well so stopping here while you are shopping or passing through should be a relatively harmless experience. read more

I work nearby and visit this place twice a day a few days a week. The staff is constantly turning over, and the over-zealous greeting when you walk in is clearly the result of some intense 'training' by the management. Included in that training is not to let anyone sit on the patio for more than 30 seconds before confronting them and telling them to buy a coffee or leave. They can't make an ice coffee properly. And when presented with a half-full cup I asked them to top mine up and was told I would have to pay extra. Never going to Dazbog again, the service is the worst and the coffee is average. read more

I'm typically a Starbucks girl, but sometimes I need more variety in the menu than Starbucks offers. Yesterday my daughter and I met up with friends at this Dazbog and I was pleasantly surprised. I'm not sure why I had low expectations, but they exceeded then for sure with good service and two delicious coffee drinks. Dazbog offers a large selection of specialty lattes if that's your thing (it is mine!). Also many more sugar-free options than most coffee joints. I had a sugar-free Almond Coco-Mocho (?) made with almond milk. It was fantastic. My daughter ordered some frozen coffee drink & my sip of that was good, too. Seating is somewhat limited, but there is a small private room that looks to accommodate about 6-7 people. Good for a small group of friends or book club. read more

Though I going to go out on a limb and say the coffee here is not fit for a God. It is fit for the common or uncommon man or woman:) Sure, I prefer Starbucks, but I have to give this coffee house kudos for convenience. Rarely do I find a crowd and always do I find a table. I've seen Daz Bog knocked for cleanliness, service and noise. I received stellar service from Barristas Korey & Nick. On a one to five, cleanliness was at 3; crumbs abounded on table and the cement floor. Yup, I said 'cement' floor. That coupled with a plethora of glass walls and doors make this coffee stop less than cozy. Take a look at the ceiling in the photos. You will notice no ceiling tiles. Sound flies all over the place, like kids in a bounce house! I used the wireless while enjoying my OK cup of joe - my online too was just OK - not great. I could see four others with their lap tops plugged in; still serviceable. For me ambiance was not great. I could see my teenage boyz enjoying it, but not this old man. There was art on the walls. I didn't notice it while there - nothing that grabs your attention. Looking at my pics it appears they let local artist display their works. I'm a big fan of that and on my next visit I'll spend some time to check it out. In summation, in you are in the neighborhood, there is no reason not to stop in for a cup of Kiev inspired coffee. I experienced odd and disappointing service at Dazbog. Every place I have had coffee in Fort Collins offers one free refill - coffee only. This morning I had a $5 latte and was told I could get a free coffee refill. When I returned the barista now said a free refill was only available if I had ordered a coffee the first time. She said a $2 coffee will get you a free refill but a $5 latte will not. Needless to say, I will take my business to all the others that have sensible refill policies. read more

Coffee houses have been a community social hub for centuries. They not only serve coffee, tea and a variety of baked goods to snack on, but they are places where students go to study, where freelancers often times work to get out of the house, where people relax with a book, where you can get your daily dose of culture from a poetry slam or live acoustic show, or they can become a default meeting destination. Coffee houses do more than serve coffee - they create an environment where you want to stay a while. I've used coffee houses as a place to go in every single situation I listed above. I've also been to almost every single coffee house in Fort Collins to do so. Each place has their own style - in coffee and atmosphere. Some I like more than others for various reasons. I often go to Dazbog Coffee because it is so close to my house. I've had many work sessions there with my laptop and I've had a few meetings there as well. I'm not especially fond of their coffee, but their location is the biggest selling point for me. Dazbog Coffee has two locations in Fort Collins, one on north Mason and the other down south in the Front Range Village shopping center by the library. It's a franchise company with about 31 locations throughout Colorado, Texas, Wyoming, Maryland, Arizona and California. I often think of it as Starbucks' little brother in comparison (although they are a Colorado-based company and certainly not even close to the size of Starbucks). They just have that corporate coffee feel. I've had more drinks than I can count from Dazbog's south location - passion fruit teas, green teas, lattes, shots of espresso, flavored specialty drinks (like pumpkin pie) and more. Everything is fine - nothing extraordinary - and I've certainly had worse coffee in Fort Collins. It's an average cup of shoulder shrug with a milky froth of "meh" (although one of my friends swears by their KG Blend for home brewing). Their coffee has a super mild flavor, and I'm not fond of the fact that their large lattes only have two shots of espresso in them. Because of that fact (and not wanting to spend $6 on a latte), I tend to just get shots of espresso most often. They have a few basic things to snack on - bagel's from Gib's, and microwaveable burritos and sandwiches sold by local vendors. Pretty standard and unexciting when it comes down to it. The atmosphere is pretty cool with windows everywhere and garage door-type walls that retract in the warmer months to open the entire space. I love that - I think it's great! I also really like the art work and the gigantic painting of the cat hanging on the wall. It's huge, and I really enjoy admiring the millions of brush strokes it took to create it. One thing that concerns me most about Dazbog is the public smear campaign about their customer service specifically aimed at the owner. There are a few disgruntled people in our community, and it's sort of difficult to tell if it's just one particularly miserable person, or an entire group forming to boycott the establishment (one or two reviews have valid concerns, the rest are all out revenge posts, seeming to be by only one person). All because of alleged confrontations where the owner asked people to leave for camping out at the shop and using the free wifi without purchasing anything. Now, the signs placed at every table make me believe this is a problem, and I certainly understand where management is coming from. But I also understand that there is a tactful way to go about these issues. Who knows what the truth of the situation is, but it's disturbing to see "anonymous" reviews repeatedly plastered on every public forum, by what seems to be the same person who's on a hater mission. So, leave it to your trusty, reliable and honest Fort Collins restaurant critic to give it to you straight. Their atmosphere is pretty cool, their coffee less than interesting, and in the countless times I've been there for various reasons, I've never had a problem (even the few times I've met there and didn't buy anything! GASP!). So, there you have it. Dazbog might not be my most recommended coffee house in Fort Collins, but I'll stop by there in the future if I need a caffeinated place to hang out close to home. I think I'm a convert! I love Ziggi's, and I visit Starbucks a lot, but I've shied away from Dazbog due to a bad experience with a work-brewed pot a few years ago (I hate the flavor of burned coffee....) I stopped in to this shop at Front Range Village and was welcomed immediately by the students working at the front. The barista chatted with me for a few as I'd never been in one of their shops before and made recommendations happily. I really liked my White Rabbit - a white chocolate mocha with hazelnut syrup. The price point was better than Starbucks and on par with Ziggi's. The shop itself is comfy and warm with wood floors, comfy chairs, plenty of parking and casual pop music. I'll visit the Northglenn shop without hesitation now - and I'll come back to Front Range Village the next time I'm in Fort Collins! read more

I don't come here much since I'm usually located on or around CSU, but occasionally when I find myself around Harmony I try to stop over by Dazbog and all the other cool shops in that plaza. I like that they have daily specials, though I think I always manage to come in on a Wednesday when they have 10% off whatever their featured drink is. Last time I got it, this time I didn't, it just depends I guess. I like coming here with my laptop to get some work done. The wifi is free, so you just need to get the password from the staff. I do need to mention that the staff here are always very friendly! I'm happy enough when I have someone pleasant who doesn't really do much aside from take my order, but every time I come here I am greeted emphatically once I approach the counter and asked how my day is going. It's nice to feel as if they genuinely are interested in how my day is going, so kudos to you guys. Most recently I ordered the blended cookies & cream drink, which is pretty good. It tasted less oreo-y than I envisioned, but I liked it regardless. On sunny days they open up their big garage door for easy access to their outdoor seating. The thing that bothers me would have to be the price. I guess it isn't any different from Starbucks or other specialty coffee shops, but I hate having to drop $5 on a coffee drink. Oh well, it helps ensure that I'm not here every other day. read more

The coffee and tea drinks are great. They have delicious snacks. The outdoor seating looks nice when the weather allows for it. It is a very very noisy store so don't come here to focus unless you can snag the small private room. Also, their Wifi is awful. I kept getting disconnected while here. I wouldn't come back to work or study if I needed Internet access. read more

Daz Bog's coffee is great - a bit richer/deeper than most. The staff is friendly, and appreciates my business. The wi-fi service is pretty solid. Sometimes, I get bummed out when all the seats, especially the comfy albeit beat up couches are taken. I would not mind seeing this place expand. I typically do not write reviews of a negative nature, however, after multiple experiences of terrible customer service at the Dazbog in Council Tree I have to share. After speaking with the owner I could only imagine why the employees have a snotty attitude. She was unpleasant to say the very least. After this experience I took time off from frequenting this location. This was disappointing to me because this location is so close and accessible to work. After a few weeks I return and ask for my typical large iced coffee with two shots of espresso. I'm told that they no longer serve the drink and suggested an iced americano. Well this is simply not the same thing...one is iced coffee with espresso in it and the other being watered down espresso. All ingredients are in house to make the drink. The only intelligent and kind soul in the building , Brittany I believe her name is, understood what I was asking for. She's your only and best asset at this location. Days later I came back for the same drink I got two days earlier and I was told yet again that it can't be made. After explaining what I wanted, how to make it, and that it had been made for me two days later I was told that it still couldn't be done. Final straw man. To add, other staff members at my work have had less than satisfactory customer service. Complaining about having to make a difficult drink can't be a thing in your business...its your sole job! I hate more than anything giving my money to large corporations like Starbucks, however, every time I visit a Starbucks I get the beverage I asked for and a smile...smiles and good attitudes matter. Maybe if the owner learned how to speak to people without demeaning them maybe it would trickle down to her staff. Free damage in blended drinks on Friday. That is chocolate covered coffee beans blended in the drink. The coffee and service are great with a wide variety is hot and cold drinks. It is conveniently located near several office buildings. On the down side, it is very load and they don't have anything to dampen the sound. They have two big comfy chairs in the back, but it is nearly impossible to have a conversation without screaming. They don't take American Express. If it wasn't so loud and I could carry on a conversation, it could be a 5 star rating in my book. read more

Coffee is nice and strong the way I like it (although I'm now drinking an Americano with the Monday special, a free extra espresso shot). Part of why I like this place is the Russian connection. Not sure if it was because my daughter and I are people of color (other than white, because white is a color), but Fort Collins has been known to treat my population differently. Today around 11 the store was not busy and we ordered a ham& cheese croissant and 2 coffees. We promptly received our coffee and waited at the counter for our food. 20 minutes later and seeing SEVERAL other customers served we approached the cashier with our concern and continued to wait. Then 5 minutes later one if the baristas asked what we were waiting for... they said it would be 2 MORE minutes. We had paid 15% tip and I was nauseous, just recently having undergone a double mastectomy, and NEEDED to eat. We proceeded to wait longer. The barista then pulled out our croissant and gave it to the white male customer that had arrived just MINUTES before. Then STILL no apology, we asked for a refund and they acted as if WE did something wrong. NEVER again will I give this Dazbog in Fort Collins, off Ziegler, my business. I'm sure other local coffee shops will appreciate my business and treat my daughter and I like humans. If no stars were an option...I'd use it. read more

I purchase Dazbog coffee to brew at home. It's a treat when I can enjoy a coffee at one of their shops. I usually go the the Harmony shop in the Front Range Village in Fort Collins. I went this morning 3/6/20. I told the clerk that I wanted a frozen Almond Mocha but that I was dairy free. He told me that he could use almond milk. When I verified with the girl who made my drink that there was no dairy she said that there is dairy in the cappuccina mix and I told her that it was to be made with almond milk. And she rude and loudly said that I heard him tell you that the mix had dairy. I told her that it was to be made with almond milk again. She refused to remake and shoved the drink at me with such attitude that I WILL NEVER GO BACK. She needs to be let go!!!! read more
