Really is dustless floor removal. Had almost 1,400 sq feet of travertine tile removed. They did a great job and left the house as clean as they found it . I was really nervous because I had a similar job done in my house in Florida and it was a dusty, powdery nightmare that required lots of cleanup and vacuuming of walls after they left. However, DustBusters did exactly as they promised- worked efficiently, and they were even nice about it! Don't really see how it could have gone better. Highly recommend. read more

These guys came to remove tile for me to help me get ready to lay down new laminate. The workers were focused and efficient. They quoted me $1800.00 to do the requested area. The work was more involved than they expected and took longer. I agreed to pay an extra $200 and in return they agreed to haul off some carpet I tore up. I took away a Star because they left one room unworkable. They didn't want to damage the wood under the linoleum so they left the floor uneven in one room. I had to call another company and pay more money to have the floor prepped properly. Most of the work they did was as expected... but I did pay extra and have to hire a 2nd company to finish the job read more

Wow, Mike and his two helpers were fast. They removed a little over 400 sf of ceramic tile and thinset in about 5 hours. They also grinded down a couple cracks in the cement slab under my carpet so it is level. They left the floor of the house clean and vacuumed, almost dust free:) I would definitely recommend this company. Tip: I have a hoover floor cleaner, so I poured a little water on the cement and vaccuumed it up. It was surprising to see how much cement came up with this cleaning, several cups. To prevent the cement chalk from getting on our shoes, I sealed the walk ways of the slab with high gloss cement sealer. Goes on quickly with a window squeegee and hardens the top layer. read more

We reached out to quite a few places to get a quote for our bathroom floor, shower and tub. Dustbusters was one of the few that were willing to do the remainder for our shower and our whole tub. Others had responded with a long wait time of 3-4 months or tried to make it seem like we were getting a great deal on the job. When Mike, the owner reached out, we unfortunately had a COVID scare in our house and didn't get back to him that fast. Nonetheless, Mike fit us into his schedule rather fast. When he and his crew showed up, they were absolutely professional and courteous. They were completely understanding of us having young children in the house, protecting our carpet and getting the job done efficiently and quickly as well as explaining why it would've been that much harder to do myself. As they were getting done, Mike came down vacuuming every inch of carpet they had gone near. Other than seeing the bare subfloor, it was as if they were never there because it was so clean. If you're a do-it-yourselfer, please read. I have removed carpet and installed a floating hardwood floor and have gotten a lot of compliments on it the professional looking job- even from professionals. This made me extra confident when I thought I could rent some tools for a few hours and remove the tile and hardwood from my house. Luckily, I did not try. Three people with the proper tools and know-how took three days to remove my flooring - the hardwood was glued down with some adhesive that had the ability to hold extremely firm to the concrete slab yet soft enough to let every joint separate and look terrible (the original install was definitely a DIY job - a poor one too) They were able to remove the flooring and remove all of the glue and thinset from the slab to prep the floor for a vinyl tile installation. My house was treated with respect and was clean every single day. The workers showed up on time every day and they worked a full day. They definitely earned their money on this job. I can not say enough about these guys. After we attempted to remove the tile in our newly purchased home it became clear after about 2 days worth of toiling that we needed some professional assistance. I put a request for a bid through Yelp and received a response back in a timely manner with what was a reasonable price. I then talked to Mike the owner over the phone and got further into detail about the state of the work and what had transpired until that point. Fortunately for us they had availability to begin the next day due to a cancellation. They arrived early the next day (appointment was for 7am but they were on-site and unloading equipment at 6:45am waiting on me). When I arrived Mike and I walked the house and outlined what needed to be done. We also discussed the debris pile in the back yard we created during our attempt at removing the tile and came to a fair price for them to haul it away. I can say that without a doubt we wished we would have called them from the get-go. The thinset that was used for our tile was industrial grade and hard as can be. We would have been killing ourselves for a couple weeks trying to do what they expertly did in less than a day and a half. All the tile and thinset was removed, the surfaces ground smooth and we were left with a floor ready for our installer. No mess whatsoever and no noticeable dust. I know good subs when I see their work. I'm a third generation general contractor, and needed 1700 sf of old flooring removed from a project while we were still living in it. I called Mike and he gave me a price over the phone which was very reasonable. They showed up on time the 3 full days they worked, removing both ceramic tile and glued down engineered wood plank (PITA). Their HEPA vacuums and "dustless" system worked beautifully. There was only a little bit of dust on some of the surfaces, but I think that was from me when I turned on my Shop Vac by mistake. They wiped down everything when they were finished, and left the job cleaner than when they started. Their price was way better than the "king".
