I had just taken down a large above ground pool and all of the supports and equipment associated with it. Also had other miscellaneous junk. Although Mesa has a disposal service beginning at $31, they would not have been able to take the refuse I had. It weighed too much, too bulky, etc. Also, I didn't want to wait for the yearly Mesa free disposal dumpsters to arrive probably not until May or June. Renting a trailer was out, because by the time I rent the trailer and dispose of the refuse myself, I'd be paying the same amount if not more than I paid for service yesterday. There would've been fees due to the pool. Finally, I have a large landscaping project that will begin soon, and I just wanted to get the crap out of there. Plenty of junk removal services out there with good reviews. I checked out a few, read the reviews, and went for best junk removal. I like their truck. Charge was 350, but there was quite a volume of material and a lot of junk. It was worth it. They were very conscientious about making sure they only took what I wanted them to. Fast and efficient. I would definitely consider them again, if I have more junk to get rid of in the future. I guess they also do some demolition such as removing sheds and some structures. My request for a quote was answered promptly, the quote was in-person, and the price was more than fair. Scheduling was 2 days after the quote. The job was to demolish the derelict wooden walk surface of a 2nd story deck, remove one of those really heavy awnings, and take out a metal spiral outdoor staircase. These guys showed up early (and texted to let us know when they would arrive), had the job done so fast it made my head spin, and cleaned the whole place up to my grandmother's standards. Most places I requested quotes from would only haul away junk. I needed someone to help me demolish the place --- remove cabinets, floors, sinks, toilets, showers, etc. AND haul it away. Brandon, the owner, was quick to respond my request for quotes and after speaking with him briefly on the phone about a month ago, I immediately knew that I want to use him and his services. While my closing was delayed by a day, Brandon remained patient and accommodated my schedule to demolish and haul away the contents of my condo.
