July 2019. 3rd time I have used Dust Fighters. They send 2 cleaners out that work hard non stop. I like that it doesn't take all day. I tend to wait so long I need a deep cleaning which is embarrassing but doesn't phase them at all. They even sent the same pleasant folks had before which was nice. They are very receptive to what your priorities are. Like I wanted behind the fridge cleaned and they did that no problem. They even cleaned part of a ceiling area above the stove top that had collected some grease and floating dust bunnies etc. They charge by the hour which actually works out as you can schedule a certain number of hours and know when they will start and stop and what it will cost. Their website gives hourly regular and deep cleaning prices. I plan to schedule them monthly now. Nov. 2019 Liz and Tony have been cleaning monthly now and they are awesome!! They clean hard and non-stop. They point out any extras they do which you wouldn't necessarily know. Attention to details I love! The price is very reasonable for the work they do. The only disappointment was that the cleaners arrived about an hour behind schedule and we weren't forewarned by the company. I contacted the owner to make sure we were still on their schedule for today, k was told that the cleaners were out to lunch. I can understand that, but a heads up, especially in light of it being the day before thanksgiving, would've been most welcome and much more convenient for us because it put us a bit behind with our family holiday festivities. Tony and Lyssette have been cleaning my house since 2004 and they always do a great job. They are trustworthy and detail oriented. I'm always so happy to come home to a clean house. UPDATE: I would give Liz and Lulu 4.5 stars but since I can't do half, I rounded down. I don't give 5 stars unless I am totally in love. They serviced my house with 6 hrs of deep clean and they worked really hard. They did offer me some discounts too but I just couldn't take it seeing how hard they worked. They focused on my priorities, and did a great job on those areas (kitchen & bathrooms and hard-to-reach areas). They couldn't get to all bedrooms due to time limit, but I can't blame them. They did exceed my expectation on the areas they touched. I am not a clean freak but I do consider myself as difficult to please, and I am pretty pleased with Liz & Lulu's works. I scheduled them to clean my Dad's apartment in 2 wks. PRIOR REVIEW: Liz contacted me back few days later, trying to explain and offer making up for my bad experience. She explained her family situation and how she is still learning to manage the business while dealing w/ family problem. She offered 1.5 hrs of free service even if I don't want to pay for anything else. I really appreciate her efforts to make things right. At least she made me feel that she actually cared and forgetting my appointment was really a mistake. House cleaning is hard work and I don't take advantage of hardworking people, so I told her that I'd still pay for the service in full if she can prove that she cares and is dependable. Liz and her staff are professional, conscientious, and reliable. She communicates very well so no worries on being stood up or time delays as long as the client is clear about expectations. She cleaned a 4-bdrm 2-bath, 1700sf single-story that hadn't been cleaned in 4 years in 5 hours for around $400. On two days notice AND showed up on a holiday weekend. She knows her chemicals and what to use on what surface. They bring their own supplies and can recommend further treatments if you want it. I want to spread the word on this new found gem and want to keep her in business. Two young men came just before 5 pm and finished their work in less than 45 min and charged: $299 for duct cleaning $150 for air conditioner coil cleaning $150 for furnace cleaning and tune up $89 for humidifier filter This was my first-time having air duct cleaning done. I lived in condos and just recently moved into a townhouse. The previous owner had air duct cleaning done 2 years ago. He kept the house clean, but I thought to clean the ducts. The work done was not worth $777. The men used the brush to clean the ducts. Now I see that that was unnecessary. They charged $150 to take a few minutes to clean the dust off my furnace. Next time, I will remove the covers and wipe the dust of the furnace myself. And they took another few minutes to clean the air conditioner. When the water started dripping down, I asked why this was happening and the technician said, 'it's normal'. And I wonder if the humidifier filter could have lasted longer had I cleaned it myself. New customer. Lyssette gave me a great quote but after that it went downhill. We confirmed type of cleaning and time via text. the day before she got the time wrong 9am instead of 11am, didnt inform me they were running late until i called lyssette to ask where they were, excuse was since they werent able to move my appointment they were still working and were going to be an hour to hour and a half late.they got here and didnt call to say they were here. I showed them around and told them to start right to left showing them the walls i needed cleaned (per quote which they seem to know nothing about. Tony and marisol came to clean) they started setting up and i left to get food since everything was put out in every room and i didnt have anywhere to sit in or be in , for faster and more efficient cleaning to be done on their part also which lyssette advised to do, it gave them more time to clean (had purchased a 3hr deep clean) about and hour or so passed and i go back and theyre cleaning the living room. I left to pick up my daughter and feed her at my parents, was coming close for the cleaning to be over so i came back home. Looked around and pointed things out and was given the excuse that he couldnt take it out lol. My BF went to clean with a clorox wipe and it came right off. TLDR: If you want professionals who take pride in their work, respect your home, and go above and beyond - call Dust Fighters to the rescue. Liz and Tony are exceptional! We called Dust Fighters from a friend's recommendation - we have tried to clean our house ourselves for 8 years and failing miserably. We vacuumed and wiped things down but there was always dust. I also tried to scrub my stove top and it would take an hour of scrubbing with barkeeper's friend and it still isn't clean. Finally I called Liz and I was blown away! The countertop, stove top, oven, stainless steel fridge, stainless steel dishwasher, and toaster oven were all so clean they look brand new! I had forgotten how nice it was to be able to SEE my food in the toaster oven while it was cooking :) Liz also made a huge impression because upon presenting the cleaned kitchen, she spoke with excitement and genuine pride. I would also like to thank Liz and Tony for going above and beyond. I was happy in my clean home after one of Liz's cleanings... then our AC contractor covered our entire house with a layer of blown in attic insulation and dust by connecting the blower in the attic and turning it ON without the ducts being connected. I have tried a couple other cleaning services in my area and after giving Dust Fighters a shot, I have stopped looking for any other home cleaning services. My experience has been very positive. Other companies that I've used would show up empty handed, meaning my supplies were used and they were not prepared. I love that Dust Fighters show up prepared, they have lots of cleaning supplies and their own equipment...such as mops, vacuums, rags, etc. That's how you know they take their job seriously and are highly professional. They pay attention to the little things, such a top of the fridge, base boards, little webs hiding in the ceiling corners, light fixtures, all of the above. I saw great reviews on Yelp so decided to try this services for my new house. I had scheduled a deep/move in cleaning and it took 4.5 hours for 4 bed 2 1/2 bath. I had given a walk through of what things I mainly required cleaning for but they forgot to clean sink in one bath and toilet in another bath. They forgot to clean the fixtures in kitchen. They seemed to be not interested in what they were doing. I usually don't write reviews but for this I had to as I am not happy with Dust Fighters. Liz answered my call promptly and even though my request was somewhat last minute, she still managed to make it work by moving things around. I went through a major reconstruction project after a failed water heater. 1200 sq. feet of tile had to be demoed and new tile had to be put down. I called these guys and I can not even tell you how happy I am with the service, I think my house is cleaner that it was when I first moved him! Let me start with saying that not every cleaning service accommodates people with animals. We have two large dogs and a cat - this was no problem for these guys! My animals shed really bad and these guys moved the furniture to make sure to get every piece of fur out of my house! I scheduled Dust Fighters for a deep clean of my house. I had the option of someone coming out to give an estimate or to schedule a time frame. Based on size of my house and what I wanted done I scheduled three hours. Before beginning the lead person walked through the house with me and we discussed my requirements. When they finished, three hours later, we again walked through to check the finished job. Top to bottom, dusted, cleaned and sanitized. Light switches, lamps and shades, base boards, door frames, blinds, table legs and cabinet fronts. Entire bathroom spotless! I cannot recommend highly enough. Five stars.
