While I was hoping for an easy fix, it wound up to be a bit more serious. BUT, Chloe and Gabriel are angels, they were so calm, genuine, and trustworthy that it made the process bearable (that and some wine! I'm not going to lie!). It was New Year's Eve and they didn't want me to have to wait until today to get my computer back so Gabriel saved the day and fixed the laptop before closing. One Evening late , like 8:30 PM My computer died and would not turn on. I knew who to call because Robert fixed my gaming desktop before. I called him at 9 PM, im glad he stays open late 7 days a week. He told me not to panic just bring it to him. To my surprise Robert had my computer up and running by noon time the next day. He said it was an easy fix, and didn't charge me a dime. (Free) that what I call honest and the highest level of customer service. I send all my friends and family to him.

I took a cell phone photo of the screen and printed the image. I then took the printed image to the NerdsToGo store and showed the image to technician Jeffrey. Clearly Jeffrey was/is very knowledgeable about PCs. After viewing the image, Jeffrey indicated that this problem sometimes occurs because of brief on/off cycles in the power grid (which do occur in Cary). He suggested that, in response to the "failure detected" message I simply press the ENTER key on the keyboard to allow the boot to proceed to completion. When I returned home this did indeed work (after I replaced our wireless keyboard with a wired keyboard). Thanks to Jeffrey's suggestion, I was able to fix the PC without having to bring it to the NerdsToGo store. Jeffrey did not charge me for his suggestion. Thank you Jeffrey for your help.
